As a visual person it helps to get my ideas down and structure my thoughts that is also presentable.

What do you like best about the product?
That there are no edges and it feels like an endless canvas for all sorts of notes and screenshots and diagrams that you can organise by framing objects and labelling with post its.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because I'm a user on my company's business account I'm unsure if my boards are private or publically available to everyone else in the company. It's not easy to see that I'm working in a personal space. Especially when I'm jotting down informal notes and ideas and projects are WIP I don't want this to be accessed by others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to visualise user journeys. By using the diagramming tools and organising content with tables and shapes it helps to get everything down and organise things into groups that I can then refine and highlight key details. The fact that there is an unlimited amount of space helps me to refine information so that I don't have to delete things and lose notes that have led me to a thought process, but also aren't necessary to include in a final summary that I can then present to colleagues.

A Game-Changing Collaboration Tool

  • July 31, 2023

What do you like best about the product?
Great UX: Working with a big canvas could be difficult, Miro solves this using a ver friendly interface.

Easy to Use: Different users can interact in a very simple way, without loosing the attention.

Smart Features: Miro provides several features and widgets. It's not only a platform that it helps you to create your own maps (which is great to organise your ideas), but also to work with others in a very efficient way. For instance, you can vote for the best idea, leave comments, create several templates for the same project and explore which view is better for your goal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve can be challenging. Especially if you want to conduct collaborative mappings or sessions. It's tempting to jump into the platform and invite participants. Yet, you'll require to prepare your meeting in order to haver a good interaction and results with your participants. Otherwise you could ended up with a great template and purpose, but with bad results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perhaps there are different problems that Miro can tackle. In my personal case was how to conduct participatory research for a study that requires a sample from different locations in the UK. It was very easy to select the most suitable template, setup the elements that I needed, and share the board. Moreover, I realised that one project can have different views/maps and it is easy to add those "layers". For instance, you can start with your main board to conduct a collaborative mapping session. The next day, you realise that you need to complement your information by adding your literature review. Well, you can create another board and have "your second brain" based on relationships and connections in one place.

Superb tool to create and check complex processes within Customers companies as well as your own

  • July 31, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Different icons are also very useful when making maps of different processes. The fact that you also get same icons - like envelope - in different styles makes its possible to adapt to customers own graphic guidelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The small fact that when you share a board - and do not want to pay for a license - you must remember to not invite people and just send them a link.

Just a bit clearer dialogue here would be very helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is our most helpful tool to visualize.
- web sites during development
- web sites during re building
- google ads flow
- product selling on a web site
- marketing strategy
- how social media works - with accounts

Especially to make a complex project easier to understand for customers not used to make processes

Invaluable for our remote first organisation!

  • July 28, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Our team is geographically dispersed and being able to conduct workshops or even having a place to capture spontaneous ideas has been really helpful for our team. We love that Miro suits every unit in our business, from product users needed to mock up flows and wire frames, to marketing users brainstorming a new ICP, it has everyone covered.
What do you dislike about the product?
On occasion we need to screen share to quickly show agencies or internal stakeholders that don't use miro regularly new diagrams or work but the visibility on a screen share can be poor. It would be great to see this improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us test our new concepts and scrutinize our workflows before putting them into action with our remote dev and product teams. We are able to effectively plan our sprints and review process using the templates provided.

Virtual and In-Person Collaboration

  • July 28, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gives an easy to use virtual whiteboard to visually capture brainstorms, work collaboratively online, and bring projects to life.

Limited experience with competitors. Much better than using a Zoom whiteboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can occasionally be glitchy (e.g. cant add extra sticky notes) and the refresh rate can sometimes be slow. These issues can frustrate people (especially if they are not comfortable using 'technology').
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating process maps and user journeys that the whole team can view and contribute to. Its making it easier for staff to communicate an issues/bottlenecks that they encounter.

Miro is incredibly user friendly and visually engaging. It allows me as a project management and operations consultant to map complex processes and projects in clean and visually appealing ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have issues with sharing permissions but that's my only real complaint.

My go-to space for organizing/mapping projects!

  • July 27, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has an array of templates and tools I can choose from. Doesn't matter what project I'm working on, Miro allows me to diagram exactly how I want. It's also easy for others to jump in and make comments, which is important when you're working cross-functional.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve. With so many tools it can be hard to figure out where to find things. Sometimes I end up spending too much time on space and placement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and comprehension. Miro allows me to share processes with internal team members before it's incorporated into our automation. This truly helps everyone understand the layout of a new workflow and is much easier than looking at our systems directly.
