Organize your project management strategies with Miro's tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is the most complete tool for project management that I have used, first, the interface is beautiful, you can create boards and customize them for your team, you can attach, develop and customize mind maps and flow maps which are the pillar of a well organized project, in fact, we can cover even structures of ideas the software offers virtually everything. Miro is a universal tool we have software for Windows, macOS, but in the mobile section is not far behind either, being able to download an application from our smartphone the scope is extensive. It has a lot of templates that adapt to the need of each user I personally want to highlight the building blocks and community templates are very well done, and I have implemented several in my projects. It in integrates mostly with the most used software in the market including Salesforce, Asana, Trello and many more, the catalog extensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few reasons to have negative points about Miro, it is a complete program that covers almost all my project management strategies, however, we can always improve certain aspects among them, I would like to get more benefits for the Business plan, another detail that I have noticed is that sometimes the mind maps or flowcharts load very slow may be the connection or maybe there are some things to adjust within the program. But in all honesty, the software really adapts to any work situation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a robust program in which I am currently developing diagrams and mind maps for meetings and workshops within the company, in fact, with the customization templates I have it is very easy to execute and organize the truth the design is very complete, and I love to take it to meetings. It is amazing how useful it is for the creative process with the brainstorming panels where I can capture work ideas and then take the best for use, planning sprints and retrospectives is another reason why Miro is a program that I always take into account. I also want to highlight the use for visual strategies, its use and execution are very complete.

Nothing. Am yet to experience ant of the downside parts of Miro. Every single experience i have had when using Miro to build diagrams has been a successful one.

No need to huddle around one screen!

What do you like best about the product?
Where to start! Miro is a wonderful tool that I use every day in my role as BA. From post it notes to diagramming it has it all. There are default templates which are great for newbies or a vast array of tools for the Miro expert.

Diagramming is one are that I especially love. The need for me to speak to various people in the business about systems and how they are structured is key to my role. So having the ability to share a board, have what I think is the proposed structure using the diagramming tools mapped out and other people being able to update it on the fly is what i need.

Collaboration plus great tools = great success for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is that I run out of colours for post it notes..

In all seriousness, the majority of the dislikes I had have been adressed by the product team who move quickly when a serious suggestion is raised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides me with a one stop shop that helps me collaborate with my team all over the world.

Wonderful collaboration method, great way to diagram with the team, great way to plan

  • August 08, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The amazing ability to collaborate in real time with coworkers anywhere in the world. Being able to watch my team diagram a project out while we're all on the board is so helpful.

You can also copy boards/diagrams/anything as an image for extremely easy sharing.

The recent addition of AI features has been a gamechanger as well, and makes it infinitely more useful to me and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there ought to be more integrations sometimes, but most of those are coming over time. Sometimes, the integrations that do exist are a bit wonky, but it's never anything that makes me not wanna use the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a way to diagram and wireframe that's both intuitive to everyone I've brought onto a board, and packed with functionality. A lot of times, solutions will either be so complicated that it becomes difficult to use, or so simple that the problem isn't actually solved despite the clean interface. Miro hits the happy medium very well.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for delivering workshop and facilitation for years and the experience for massive audience is proven reliable in any type of devices used.

The easy to use interface and improved features very helpful for facilitating remote team or live session such as Talktrack, Miro AI, Voting, and Private Mode that can be helpful for conducting retrospective for instance.

The best part that I love is the template creators community Miroverse, very helpful to get inspiration for create pre-made diagram or learning space design made by various leaders in product, tech, management, coach, and many other powerful resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization shapes in Miro somehow still has limitation like rounded corner radius or nodes to adjust the shapes. The board map also need some improvement to be more easily to navigate for bigger space usage such as clustering or grouping in the same board. Last, the integration still need some compatibility improvement to make it more seamless with other popular apps used by industry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In terms of workshop and facilitation has powerful tool to manage the capability on running sequential session using various native tools and combined activities features like frames, timer and presentation that easy to setup. Miro also bring better collaborative experience within team and learners to do brainstorming, diagramming, mapping research findings and asynchronously update the documentation of product development and presenting their project across different stakeholders.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a wonderful tool for everyone. It's intuitive features are helping to work live with a large group of people. Miro's visual clarity and large base of templates allows you to create great projects in high quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
From our experience, we don't find anything wrong with Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping us during workshops with large groups of people. In real time we can work with them on the project and use lots of tools and templates helping us work out the solutions. Additionally, we find it cool and important, that we don't have to use paper flipcharts or sticky notes during workshops because participants see everything o the screen. That's so environmental friendly. After workshop we have everything saved in the account and we can continue working without the mess.

Miro is my go-to teaching resource

  • August 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The multidimensionality of the tools is fantastic. Everything you could need is built right in. I use it in my classes for online critique and we also use it to keep historical documentation to compare revisions from class to class.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to embed videos. If you could show it as a preview that opens in a lightbox or something that'd be fine, but it would be nice to setup videos and whatnot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we went fully online with our program, Miro allowed us to set up a collaborative critique environment that allows students to look at their work in a manner most similar to how we used to present in person – either by attaching it to the wall or broadcasting it via projector. This allows for a more collaborative experience because the comments can be left in real-time and accessed later on without someone having to take notes or remember the feedback given. Additionally, the other tools such as voting and timer based integrations help keep us on track.
