Intuitive and collaborative, but limited basic functions
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for my studies, especially for managing projects and group work. I like that all group members are up-to-date at any time and the boards make equal input from everyone visible. The different templates offer easy overview, and I find the design options really good. Live updates are great, especially when working together in an online meeting, as they allow you to see live what team members are doing on the Miro board. The comment feature is also very helpful for making important information visible. Furthermore, the initial setup of Miro was very easy and quite intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many basic features are hidden behind the premium paywall, sometimes making even simple tasks more difficult. A dark mode for the homepage would be very nice.

Miro usage from a energy professional utilising agile ways of working
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has several benefits that I both utilise or have engaged with. First I utilise miro to plan out my quarters work. Currently, I work in an agile way of working where our quarters are broken down into 2 week sprints. THis requires a lot of pre planning sessions where we use Miro to plot our initiatives and how we will achieve them. I likely use Miro at least weekly however have often used it daily. Generally Miro is easy to implement into our processes. Since using Miro it has gone through several updaes. Initially I was not a fan of the system however it has greatly improved and has become a useful tool in my arsenal. I have not had to experience using the customer support so cannot comment on this, however this in itself would be a testement to Miro's reliability. The software is also easy to integrate via the useful AI tools. I have used this to plot out flow charts whcih has saved time and eliminated the tedious work of plotting out the arrows and boxes. This has enabled me to focus my time on refining the content and not have to worry so much on the formatting.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main dislike about miro is some of the mouse inputs. Having to use the right hand button rather the initiutive left to click and drag takes some time to readjust too. This does not majorly disprute my work however is an annoyance as this goes against most other conventional input controls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving several problems. First it allows me a space to strategise and develop my initiatives for my work and upcoming sprints. Second it allows me to create effective flow charts which create easy to use visuals for stakeholders so they understand what our agents decision making process is for processes. Finally the utilisation of the AI is a great addition that helps cut out the tedious formatting allowing me to focus on delivering the best content possible.

I love Miro for its free access and ease of use, which is very convenient for university courses. I also appreciate the large number of possible collaborators, which is valuable for working with many people without worrying about limits, thus avoiding leaving people out or having to find paid alternatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be nice to be able to change the text size in the post-its to have similar post-it sizes even if we don't write the same thing in them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro facilitates document sharing and accommodates a large number of collaborators, which is convenient for university and large projects, without limits or additional cost.
A powerful board tool that allows for information aggregation and overview
What do you like best about the product?
I think it's great that Miro consolidates project materials in one place, allowing you to view the entire picture from a bird's-eye view. By effectively plotting information on a very large board, you can search for detailed information or grasp an overview from the whole, allowing you to view information from various perspectives depending on the granularity of the information. I also find it convenient that it integrates with Atlassian's Confluence and Jira, as well as GWS Drive, making it easy to view tickets and knowledge clearly on Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the initial setup of Miro a bit challenging. To adequately design confidentiality, some level of user-side control is necessary for things like team formation, board sharing permissions, and folder creation criteria, and I feel that education in these areas is needed. Additionally, I think it would be beneficial to have a training plan like an experiential tutorial on Miro's best practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is great for consolidating project materials in one place and allowing you to view the whole picture. You can view information from various perspectives depending on the granularity of the information, making it easier to grasp the overall project information.
