Intuitive, Visual Collaboration That Makes Brainstorming Seamless
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is highly intuitive and visual, making collaboration easy. The infinite canvas allows for brainstorming, mind mapping, and organizing ideas seamlessly. It supports real-time teamwork, making remote collaboration engaging and productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can feel overwhelming with too many features and templates at first. Large boards may slow down performance, and some tools lack advanced customization, which can limit complex workflows.

Miro helps solve the challenge of remote and distributed collaboration by providing a single, visual platform for brainstorming, organizing ideas, and mapping processes. It allows teams to co-create in real time, capture input from multiple contributors, and quickly iterate on strategies and designs. This results in faster decision-making, clearer communication, and more efficient workflow alignment across teams.

It saves time and effort by eliminating the need to communicate through email or in person, which cuts down on a lot of back and forth. The initial setup of Miro was super easy.

Clear Business Process Mapping with a Well-Documented Implementation Flow
What do you like best about the product?
Business process mapping with clear implementation flow documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
When boards get very detailed—with lots of objects, images, and connectors—performance can start to lag, especially on lower-spec systems.

The real-time collaboration feature is really helpful for project planning and mapping.
Miro: A Great Design Tool - If You Are Using a Mac
What do you like best about the product?
For me, the symbol system has saved the most time - I make a component and then reuse it as many times as possible. I can change all instances of it at the same time, rather than having to search for each instance individually. Honestly, I would be sad to lose the component/symbol workflow (and the plugins) if I moved away from using Miro. In addition to the component/symbols workflow, the number of available plugins is huge - if there isn’t a basic function you want the tool to perform, there’s likely a third-party plugin that will allow you to do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is only available for Macs. Since our development team uses PCs, they are unable to use Miro, which creates significant issues when a client or new employee comes onto the team who uses a PC. The prototype function is very limited compared to other tools such as Figma and Xd, and it’s not where Miro excels. Large file sizes with complex graphics can become slow while you’re in the middle of a workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using Miro, we were struggling with Adobe design tools that were simply never designed for UI/UX work. Miro allows us to bypass much of the frustration involved in creating prototypes and handing them off to developers - Miro enables rapid creation of prototypes, clear handoffs to developers and eliminates the need to employ a full-time designer to create a presentable mockup.
Dynamic and Easy Collaboration with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is comfortable and dynamic, which makes it quick to use. I enjoy the small details like the AI that groups information, the voting features, the option to play music, the ability to paste information all at once on several post-its, and the templates. The grouping of information saves me time, the votes facilitate team collaboration and understanding, and the templates speed up dynamics by suggesting work formats without having to think much. I also appreciate that it is more dynamic and easier to use compared to other products.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you ask to make a presentation, simply paste the text into slides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro resolves remote collaboration and large sessions, providing a powerful graphical interface. AI-driven information grouping saves time, while votes enhance collaboration. Templates streamline dynamics with little effort.
