Review of Invision Freehand

  • January 22, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
InVision Freehand is an amazing alternative to Miro boards or Mural boards. It has much more templates and shapes to play around with and overall I find the UI to be much more smooth and intuitive than other whiteboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version of Freehand has very limited "freehands" 3? This is very inconvenient for a larger team. Miro board does this amazingly well. I think they should increase freehands to atleast 5.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
InVision Freehand is offering a collaborative whiteboard with an amazing set of shapes. Really helps in virtual brainstorming sessions.

A collaborative Tool- Miro

  • January 21, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro features are like sticky notes with digital markers and shapes. It is easy to set up and manage. It helps to boost our collaboration remotely and on-premises. All of our resources can be kept connected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation still required improvements from Miro side, it would be great if we have an interface to JMP. Zoom and amendments traceability can be improved in Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us to manage my teams workflow. Project plan, and collaboration with multiple users. I have used Miro for my companie's many projects, and it never fails to help productivity and collaboration with my Team.

InVision : Real-time Whiteboard team collaboration tool

  • January 21, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Real-time collaboration within a team on interactive designs.
2. Inspect mode is very useful for developers to see UI component CSS details like font, color, dimension, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Startup time can be improved; a bit slow.
2. Switching between prototype features can be included.
2. Pricing model is a bit expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool for collaboration on UX design and wireframes for websites. We can receive and give comments on shared designs, which helps us deliver software faster.

Excellent tool for staying organized

  • January 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use InVision for sharing/saving notes. I have multiple meetings every day of the week and InVision helps keep me organized and efficient. The amount of space is awesome! I have so much room to write, attach, insert, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use the free version, so this may not be an issue with other users, but I wish I could use a highlighter with multiple colors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had trouble staying organized, or at least saving space/time when it came to sorting through my notes. When I use InVision, I can come to one place (paper-free!) where I can access everything I need.

  • January 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to plan a project, explain a task or catch up on things. I use it as my digital kanban board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the Miro app to be much better. For example to manage my kanban board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a lot of projects with several deliverables and stakeholders to work with. It becomes very difficult to manage this but using a Miro Kanban board helps me to organize.

Increased productivity, fast flowing meetings!!

  • January 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great for quick and easy collaboration, especially during meetings to increase productivity. I really love that I can use my tablet to write ideas during remote meetings! Gives that whiteboard experience in the meeting room feeling I miss from in office work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's simplicity is it's strong point and keeps meetings easy to chart out. However, a little bit more functionality would be nice. For instance, it would be great to use in Invision Studio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote work communication, I believe it's the most important issue for me that Invision has solved. There are many whiteboards out there, yes. But this one is designed for Ux/Ui remote work.

A quick, lightweight, and great collaborative whiteboarding service

  • January 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quick loading times, large board capacity, sharing options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prototype view and functionality is not as good as other whiteboarding/wireframing tools — add more color options, shapes, and layer control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing processes for leadership and management — it gives form to live notetaking and makes the ordeal more interactive

Miro: The oxygen of life

  • January 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
When I found myself exhausted from using Mural and Jamboard, I chose to give Miro a try. The ease of use was immediately evident with the clear labels on its tool menu and an array of options at hand. In addition to being simple in terms of navigation, another aspect that attracts me is how fast it runs – this helps keep remote meetings smooth without any performance hiccups slowing down my work progress or growth rate. When looking for something reliable yet user-friendly in organizing virtual workshops or brainstorming sessions within teams -Miro's intuitive interface has been invaluable!
What do you dislike about the product?
I am frustrated by the inefficiency of Miro's PC application update, which has blocked me from my message boards and homepage (using Single Sign-On). Rather than providing access to these features, it switches to intoscreensharing mode that does not load my intended content. I understand needing an updated version occasionally on occasion, but it is inconvenient compared to other platforms, such as mobile devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently utilizing MIRO to its fullest potential by using it for meetings. With this platform, I can easily collaborate with other members virtually to draft meeting minutes and document any user research that may take place during the session while also allowing me more creative freedom, such as writing stories or further refining presentations.

Good tool for team collaboration

  • January 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use
User experience is good
Brainstorming made it easy for remote working
Wireframes created were having basic CSS properties, that made easy development
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such, but the logo used in invision can be downloaded as image like png , but it would be great if all the logos are segregated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a software developer who worked on UI, the designs were provided by the designers and invision made easy to understand design

InVision Freehand is key to our success

  • January 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Freehand helps enable cross- team collaboration naturally and brings synergy and focus to our projects. With the ability to work real-time or offline and sync across regions is a game changer and key efficiency driver. With a simplified interface our team is quickly able to mobilize and get full value of the tool with a great shared workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to others the design options are somewhat limited and not as mature. There is a good range of integrations (Jira is key) but find that it is not as extensive as some other platforms which may limit some of the efficiencies of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest one is the ability to offer shared workspaces and realtime collaboration which has improved our communications and delivery cadence, ensuring alignment and cross team involvement.
