Miro is the best collaborative and creative design tools I have used.

  • March 28, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy interface with a lot of features and flexibility associated with it.
I also love the fact that it has a lot of preconfigured templates that one can use to start their dashboard design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the interface is can be a bit challenging to get used for a new user. For instance, using the right mouse button to move boards around is not a common practice and takes getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro for feature and story grooming and for our Scrum agile processes - the features make it quite interactive and easy for team collaboration especially when every one is working remotely.

Versatile tool suited for a variety of tasks

  • March 27, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is great because it can be used for many different types of tasks that range from very early stage methods like brainstorming to holding very structured information. It's also great for collaborative work both asynchronously and actually simultaneously with your colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally i wouldn't use Miro for presentations if the goal is for them to look very polished. I consider it more of a work-tool rather than a presenting-tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating with colleagues that are located all over Europe can be a challange. Miro took away a good a lot of the boudries I faced in that environment and enabled me and my team to actually work together.

    Government Administration

Easy to use and looks great

  • March 24, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool that helps to arrange my ideas and thinking. I use it to run workshops with my team when we are planning work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The print view for including in documents is hard to get right. The font scaling seems to be smaller than what is used in Word.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier to pull together mind maps and other visuals than existing software

The best online whiteborad on this planet.

  • March 24, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's the best online whiteboard handle vector graphics with connectors. Microsoft Whiteboard can use bitmaps. Compared to Miro, business productivity is low. I loved Visio software, so Miro is the perfect product for me. Moreover, I can share ideas and visions with co-workers online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes loading boards and responses are slow. It disturbs my creativity.
I hope you spend big money on your data center :-)
And also, I want Visio-like templates on Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During remote work, sharing ideas and visions with co-workers is not easy. It is easy to use, and it helps us create business ideas. The outputs are legible and boost our business performance.

An excellent collaborative drawing tool

  • March 24, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The drawing tools inside Miro are quite good, allowing you to create diagrams, workflows, flowcharts, etc quickly and easily.

Being able to show diagrams, draw on them live during presentations, and scroll and zoom around the endless canvas really help communicate concepts on remote calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Account management, paid vs free access, and access to other employees' boards is sometimes confusing. It's slightly annoying when Miro links open in the browser and then jump across to the app - it would be better if that was more seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By allowing multiple people to edit the board at the same time, remote calls can be a lot more collaborative and it's a lot easier to communicate ideas or subtle changes to a design.

Miro is where I go to organise ideas

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Once you get the knack of it, it is of seamless use. I would say it is good for your own personal organization, and for collaborative sessions like workshops, co-creation, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very natural, and by that I mean that it does not accommodate dynamic activities very well. For instance, if you use it to plan the following months, and you have 10 people in the same board, making changes, needing to add lines, columns, everything gets wierd and it's a pain. So for me the tables widget is the biggest struggle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remoteness; imediacy; ease of use; ease of access. It has become the first solution when two people are dicussing and need to diagram an idea. It has happened recently that I was writing a research plan and I just felt the need to sistematise all my knowledge in Miro first. And I am not visual at all, I am all sheet and doc first. But that is slowly changing.

Useful product for retrospective and schematisation

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Relatively simple and lightweight to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to have the possibility to classify different boards in a structure like directory and folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It facilitates interactions and discussions between team members during retrospectives and workshop

Helpful tool for organizing the team's thoughts and collaborating virtually.

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We found a lot of use for the tool when we were stuck at home during the pandemic. Everyone would log on remotely, and we could still hold virtual innovation sessions. We still use it to support specific activities as the tool allows us to add/share information simultaneously. Miro is also the go-to tool for making flow charts and diagrams because it is easier to build, edit and share than other programs we have.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't needed it as much since we are back in the office full-time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been helpful in our innovation process, mainly as we conducted some of these virtually. In-person Miro allowed for larger innovation sessions because more people could participate simultaneously and still contribute individually.

I am using Miro on a weekly basis in my role as Product owner

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy access to the dasboard, easy to understand the application, easy to work as a team at the same time. It is easy to export any dashboard to a png or pdf such that is can be used in external applications like Azure DevOps and Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards can be very large, distracting the audience to other areas of the board. I would like to see some functionality that help to focus my audience. I recently discovered the ability to export a link to JIRA. I would love to have that kind of integration also for Azure DevOps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy interface to quickly setup a roadmap that can be shared to management. The team can simultaniously work on the content, rather than sending a Powerpoint presentation around, hence it promotes collaboration (even among teams).

Miro as a tool for Qualitative Analysis

  • March 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I often use Miro as a qualitative research tool. I specifically value the ability to take notes very fast through post-its, and then the ability to cluster these with personalized tags.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we have to do an analysis of more than 4500 post-its. What happens often is once we are done with giving the individual post-its tags, Miro crashes. I would like to see an additional way of saving a project, without having to rely on the auto-save option only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it possible to conduct qualitative research activities, on a collaborative platform together with other researchers. It also provides a nice way to communicate these activities to the client we're working for.
