Intuitive and powerful tool for virtual visual collaboration

  • August 17, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it combines a natural whiteboard/head design interface with live collaboration features in a very simple and efficient way. I like that with Miro we can exchange ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a free version available, but many of the advanced features are only available in the paid versions. Although the price may be considered an issue for some users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform provides a large number of templates for different types of projects, which makes creating diagrams, mind maps, presentations and other documents very quick and easy.

The tool that change de way we work every day

  • August 17, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a tool that allows us to unify work areas in one place. It helped us share information and create content in an orderly and agile way. It is our place where the flows and processes of the company are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing per user is not clear when new people are added. The 7-day trial is not a comfortable way to activate them. Then, you cannot go from a full user to a commenting-only user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves the centralization of application processes and flows. It is the only place where they are shared, approved and sent to development. The integration with JIRA is key to send the confirmed information to the squads.

Miro - great online collaboration tool

  • August 17, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
You can customize your online sharing space with lots of practical and visually appealing content
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while for newcomers to adjust to moving around, adding cards etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting dispersersed teams to a shared understanding of a particular topic. Having timers, tables, arrows and color really helps with teams learn new material and interact with it, too.

Essential tool for our business

  • August 17, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
we use Miro as a whiteboard during the presentation and interactive discussion. It does keep participants not just a listening mood but in a interactive mode. Because MS Teams goes mute the voice and is not so good for interactive oral communication, this is a good tool to collaborate and communicate each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say Framing is not so strong. It would be good if we do presentation in Miro, not move back to ppt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration tool between clients, clients and our firm, and within our firm profwssionals.

Overall a positive experience and has helped me consolidate my work into one tool

  • August 17, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to complete a project end to end using one tool. I love that I can see every aspect of a project within a single screen - from initial planning all the way through to the final slide deck.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was line/paragraph spacing options, particualrly for presentation slides - I find sometimes the lines are too close together which can be hard to read.
I find file organisation difficult - I know you can create projects, but I want to also create folders because 1 level of organisation is not enough.
I would also like to be able to export frames to PowerPoint as that is sometimes the preferred tool used in our organisation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the number of tools I use. For UX research, I am able to complete all steps of a project using a single tool. This makes managing the project a lot easier and it avoids me having to send around multiple links/files for different sections of the project.

Miro helps me brainstorm, ideate and analyze interview data

  • August 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's ability to colloborate and vote. It's also great for just general documentation during projects. It's a great working space for outlines, drafts and brainstorms. I most often use it to scrape together a draft of or outline of a slide deck
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to become an expert user. There's many features and I don't know how to use them all. I also don't know how to use all the various shortcuts that make using Miro quicker and more effective. Also while I appreciae their templates they seem to lack flexibility, in other words they're only useful if I stick to them rigidly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a great place for ideas that are WIPs. Whether you're working alone or in a group a lot of stuff can be generated on a Miro board that helps shape the direction of the final deliverable, whatever format that deliverable might be in.

Great tool to collaborate, present and map the flows

  • August 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Countless possibilities to collabroate with the team and other colleagues. I love using Miro to map the flows and diagrams. It is easy to use and has many features like time count, embedding of different tools such as BI reports, Forms, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not everyone knows how to use it and that can becomes a bottleneck during some of the meetings. However, once the person gets the hang of it, everything is smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flow mapping - I am currently preparing documentation of various processes and especially one quite technical. It helps extremely to map it in Miro and at the same time collaborate with my colleague.

Miro brings teams together

  • August 15, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that I can begin thinking of ideas from scratch using a blankcanvas. Or, I can use ready-to-use designs from miro. I aslo enjoy being able to put sticky notes, pictures, and shapes on my whiteboard and move them around as I want.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is surely a perfect tool for brainstorming but not for project management. I would like to see Miro add some features to make it easier to track progress and collaborate on projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps my team increase efficiency by allowing us to collaborate on our ideas in real time. This saves us time and effort, an dit can help us get more done.

The best tool for socializing with teams

  • August 15, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For its easy use, because it is a collaborative, very dynamic tool, it has good tool template for my daily use. Also it allows designing, pasting images, drawing process flow, and working as a team. The best
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it gets very complicated to use it without you don't have a mouse at hand and if you're working several people at once, you can move things already work, which means doing things again
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task priorities, process flow documentation, screen design, workshops, departmental documentation. I have benefited because it has optimized my work, allows me to document everything in a tool that is accessible to everyone, without having to grant access, besides being super collaborative, and very dynamic and above all visual

Diagramming in Miro helps you connect people, systems, and ideas with powerful visuals.

  • August 14, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to create and collaborate on an infinite canvas with a variety of widgets, templates, and frameworks. I can easily map out user stories, customer journeys, wireframes, roadmaps, retrospectives, and more.

Diagramming in Miro helps you connect people, systems, and ideas with powerful visuals.

It enables me to work with my team and clients in real time or asynchronously, regardless of their location. I can see their cursors, chat with them, share my screen, and present my work.

It integrates with many of the tools I already use, such as Slack, Jira, Google Drive, Zoom, and more. I can streamline my workflow and access all the information I need in one place.

It helps me standardize and scale my processes across the organization. I can create and use custom templates and smart frameworks, organize my boards into projects, and manage user permissions and roles.
What do you dislike about the product?
* when there are a lot of boards there are not much tools to organize them well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of the business problems that Miro helps to solve are:

Diagramming complex architecture: Miro allows you to create and collaborate on diagrams of any complexity, such as software architecture, network topology, system design, and more. You can use smart diagramming tools to automate tasks and generate diagrams from code or natural language. You can also import and export diagrams from other tools, such as Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, and more.

Diagramming processes: Miro enables you to map out and optimize your business processes, such as workflows, value streams, user journeys, customer journeys, and more. You can use templates and frameworks to get started quickly, or create your own custom diagrams. You can also add comments, feedback, and voting to your diagrams to facilitate communication and collaboration.

Brainstorming and ideation: Miro helps you to unleash your creativity and generate new ideas with your team. You can use sticky notes, shapes, images, icons, text, and more to capture your thoughts on an infinite canvas. You can also use tools such as mind maps, affinity diagrams, SWOT analysis, and more to organize and prioritize your ideas.
Project management and planning: Miro supports you to plan and manage your projects effectively with your team. You can use tools such as Kanban boards, Gantt charts, timelines, calendars, OKRs, and more to track your progress and goals. You can also integrate Miro with other project management tools, such as Jira, Asana, Trello, and more.
