Great for collaboration and workshops, but needs structure
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Miro is how flexible it is for collaboration and brainstorming. It’s great for workshops, ideation sessions, and mapping out flows or processes with multiple people at the same time. The infinite canvas makes it easy to think visually without constraints, and features like sticky notes, templates, and comments make collaboration feel lightweight and intuitive. It works especially well for cross-functional teams where not everyone is a designer.
What do you dislike about the product?
As boards grow, they can quickly become cluttered and hard to navigate. Performance can slow down with large or long-running boards, and it takes discipline to keep things organized. Some design-related tasks feel limited compared to more specialized tools, and moving from a messy brainstorming board to something more structured often requires cleanup or exporting work elsewhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of remote and cross-functional collaboration by giving teams a shared visual space to think together. Instead of long meetings or scattered docs, it allows ideas, feedback, and decisions to live in one place. For me, the biggest benefit is alignment. It helps teams get on the same page quickly, especially during early discovery, workshops, or planning sessions.

It adapts well to different workflows, from product discovery to retrospectives, without feeling cluttered.

Very large boards can sometimes feel heavy specially when there are lots of images or widgets.

For our product development team, Miro solves the challenge of aligning distributed teams, collaboration and turning abstract ideas into something visual and actionable. It replaces our emails, documents, and endless meetings with a shared space where everyone can contribute at the same time. This has improved collaboration, sped up design decision-making, and made workshops and planning sessions far more engaging and productive especially in our hybrid work environments.
Intuitive and Collaborative Platform with Room for Template Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to collaborate with my team, organizing weekly ideas for creative ads at our remote company. It helps me a lot to visualize ideas and organize content more efficiently by uploading video/images and linking to different sources. I find the interface very nice, intuitive, and easy to use. I use their AI features a lot to check grammar or summarize ideas. I also connect Miro with Drive, and it works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love if they offer more easy to use templates for specific projects. They're not that easy to understand at first, so if they have a more intuitive guide with each template would be great.
