Miro: The Ultimate Collaboration Tool for Remote Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Its real-time effectiveness and the fact that it allows us to use it with a team. Its simple and easy UI and UX.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the free version, you only get 3 whiteboards which sometimes can be annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating effectively with every single word being explained to the client.
Practical and quick, great for brainstorming and organizing new projects.
What do you like best about the product?
I believe its "infinite" nature, the ability to create frames and presentations quickly and easily, along with the ease of interacting with others—everyone can see what I’m drawing—are great features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it lacks more efficient drawing tools, like pens that allow creating more complex shapes. Not being able to copy and paste images from one board to another is also a downside. Sometimes, I want to share only a part of the board, not the entire thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of data visualization and the ability to draw over images to develop project ideas.
Miro has greatly helped me to visualize my ideas.
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Miro is its limitless space and the freedom it offers to outline almost anything you can imagine. As an introvert, I sometimes find it challenging to communicate my thoughts clearly to others. But thanks to Miro, that’s no longer an issue. It allows me to effortlessly visualize my ideas, map out my thought processes, and even prototype my app concepts. Miro truly feels like an extension of my creative mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
I genuinely enjoy using Miro and don't have any major complaints about it. While occasional bugs can pop up, they’re typically resolved with updates, so it’s not a big issue. The only aspect that can be a bit frustrating is the way text color changes sometimes behave unpredictably—it could use some refinement for a smoother experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has been a game-changer for bringing my ideas to life. It not only helps me visualize concepts effectively but also makes presenting them to clients or team members seamless and engaging. From mapping out complex processes to designing intuitive wireframes for my apps, Miro is my go-to tool for turning ideas into actionable plans.
5 year exp backend jvm engineer
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to start, simplicity when you need it, but also the possibility to create more complicated structures, and plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating the status of work on diagrams in miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to visualize our thgouhts, make them clear for everyone. A single space for the whole project thanks to it's possibility to scale the space. It's much faster than jira to understand current status of our work when looking on diagrams on miro (as a engineers) and adding notes to them. also you can have roadmap, as a bigger picture, and more detailed plans in the same space.
Excellent product and tool , especially for brainstorming and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent existing template library and versatility of the tool to enable collaboration.

What do you dislike about the product?
I lost a load of files when a team memeber left the business and I couldn't get them back
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a structured source of information that has grown during my time - first it was used by the whole team but due to redundencies I am only one left but most of the (except one team mate) work is readily available.
Presentations with Color and Soul
What do you like best about the product?
Project management is a bit mechanical. Miro makes it possible, and often fun, to share dynamic and colorful presentations of complex content. Collaboration and note taking happens at the same time while I follow a scripted narrative, and Miro is the only place I can do this. The desktop/mobile experience is very strong, and the offerings of embedded video, websites, and stickers helps add even more spirit to the experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike very little. I wish only that it were A) faster to snap a bunch of object into a row, grid, or column. (Currently a couple more clicks than I prefer. I must move individual things a bit before using "align") and B) Possible to operate boards from two login accounts within the desktop app would be helpful. I have a personal Miro account and Business account which I use every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared visual models which can be updated in realt ime. Presentation struggles with Powerpoint.
