My go to tool for ideation and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The canvas approach is nothing unique to Miro, but they, at least in my opinion, deliver on it better than other tools I've tried. The extensive templates, ease of use, and rapid development of value add with new features make it a winning combination for me. I use it daily with my teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can sometimes find it tricky to locate a board due to the proliferation of them. This is a common issue with any knowledge base tool, and the ease of spinning up a board and getting it up and running can make it easier to start a fresh one.

Collabration and strategic planning.

What do you like best about the product?
The look and feel. I love that you are continuously updating and adding new features. I really appreciate the workshops that you offer. I also really like the templates
What do you dislike about the product?
When you more frames or shapes with the keyboard they move very slowly, you have to use a mouse
Sometimes I prepare a workshop with loads of frames and everything becomes disjointed in terms of size
It would be great to be able to extract things easier into a Google slide (the same way you can put a googlesheets graph into a google slide and have it linked and updated)
Really need to get better free icons and images

What do you dislike about the product?
I use the calendar template to map out our upcoming months of emails. It hasn't updated for this year so its quite manual to have to delete all the numbers.
secondly when a teammate is clicked into a tile, only one can be in there at a time.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is still not widely use in my context, so other colleagues and clients often look disoriented when looking at a MIRO board.
The fact that moving through a MIRO board in a not-too-slow fashion gives other participants discomfort.
The limitations in the possibility to edit shapes and objects (for example color shading).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of all, it gives SPACE and FREEDOM to my thought process :)
I can use it for the whole range of projects type I undertake, like process mapping and redesign, journey mapping, roadmapping, research, and all kinds of digital-co-design activities
The switch from powerpoint really changed how strong I can be in identifying ideas, patterns, insights in those kind of activities. To me it seems like switching from a "working for the deliverable" mindset "to a working for the content/knowledge" mindset.

Strategy and Collaboration Connector
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been instrumental in seeing & empowering the work we do for strategic and collaborative purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a dislike, just more opportunities to integrate content our business relies on for business intelligence and reducing potential rework. It would be nice to have a direct excel integration vs. snapshots of develop content or trying to convert to tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From Strategic to Tactical, Miro has allowed us to see our work and understand needs and or gaps. We appreciate the tool development from timelines and Miro AI that helps bring summation / clarity to the process, that in the past would take time to develop in other platforms.
