Collaborative and Simple Visualization, But with Areas for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro allows me to move different pieces and add post-its, lines, and images with great ease. When I lack inspiration, I can search for templates that serve as a mold, which is a great help. In participatory workshops, I find it very useful to use open-ended questions and wait for the attendees to place their reflections, draw, or move different parts of the board, which facilitates an interactive and collaborative environment. Additionally, I appreciate that something that was not so user-friendly for me with other tools like Figma is simple and straightforward in Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be improved that sometimes when I move a frame, the text doesn't move. Also, when working with older users, it's difficult to understand the difference between a board link for people with a password or without it. Finally, I think Miro doesn't have many language options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to facilitate research exercises, easily adding post-its, lines, and images. The templates offer inspiration. In participatory workshops, it allows for interactive reflections with dynamic boards.

We have used it many times, but occasionally my colleagues forget to share their board with the correct permissions. This oversight often leads to delays, as it takes longer than expected to resolve the issue and gain the ability to edit their content.

I’m a design brand manager and Miro has honestly made my life a lot easier. I use it to map out plans and share ideas with the team, and it keeps everything clear and organized. It’s super intuitive, easy to pick up, and has plenty of features without feeling overwhelming. I love Miro's low learning curve, which is especially advantageous for users familiar with Adobe software. The initial setup of Miro was super easy, which made getting started with the software effortless. Overall, I find Miro to be a really useful tool that fulfills my needs without any complaints.

Facilitate Visual Collaboration, Even with Slow Performance on Large Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro as a central platform to plan, structure, and communicate projects in a visual and collaborative way. In my academic work and team projects, Miro is essential for creating mind maps, flowcharts, user flows, and system architecture models. I love the real-time collaboration features, which allow all team members to contribute simultaneously, making the brainstorming process more agile and reducing communication failures. The platform is a perfect combination of visual flexibility and real-time collaboration, enabling the creation of simple diagrams to complex models without creative limits. Miro keeps everything organized in a single workspace, with variations of multiple people editing simultaneously, as well as integrated comments and voting, which makes the decision-making process faster and more transparent. Another great advantage is the variety of pre-built templates, which help start a project without wasting time on formatting. The integrations with external tools like Jira and Google Workspace are extremely useful for facilitating workflow and avoiding the dispersion of information across various platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some aspects of Miro could be significantly improved. One of them is the performance on very large boards or with many elements. When the project grows, it becomes common to notice some slowness, especially on less powerful devices, which can interrupt the workflow. Additionally, the internal organization of files and boards could be more intuitive. In teams with many parallel projects, quickly finding the right board is not always as simple as it should be, and folder management is still relatively limited. Another point that could evolve is the precision of the drawing and alignment tools. Although they work well for most tasks, in more technical diagrams I notice that there is a lack of a bit more precision and advanced formatting options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to plan and communicate projects in a visually collaborative way, accelerating brainstorming and reducing communication failures. It centralizes work with integrations and facilitates diagrams with templates. Real-time collaboration and clear visual organization are great advantages.
Intuitive Interface and Versatile Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the Miro interface and the number of tools it offers to use. It's great how I can lay everything out in one place and understand the order in which things happen, which is especially useful for projects that require multiple stages. I also value the grid functionality and how it knows where to place elements correctly. All of this makes the experience of using Miro quite intuitive and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I didn't find anything that I don't like or feel needs improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize projects in one place and visualize the order of tasks, improving the clarity and direction of the process.
