Dependable Whiteboard for Ideation and Collaboration

  • November 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro primarily because it just works in a dependable, predictable, and enjoyable way. Since 2020, right after the COVID shutdown, Miro has steadily improved its offerings and features, which I greatly appreciate. It's a straightforward platform that simplifies onboarding new participants, making it accessible even for those who are new to it. As a small business owner, the cost is manageable, which adds to its appeal. Its shared space allows everyone to simultaneously see, share, and contribute, creating an inclusive environment for collaboration. I also value Miro as a repository for diverse documents and research, and as a core ideation tool. It alleviates the facilitation challenge of 'what artifacts are created,' enabling me to focus on people, ideation, and strategy rather than the capture of ideas. It democratizes the ideation process, allowing all participants to contribute during and outside sessions. Miro integrates seamlessly with tools like Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom, which I utilize for virtual facilitation, as well as Dropbox and Apple Keynote. The Google Image feature is another component I frequently use. The initial setup was incredibly simple for my small business, showcasing Miro's adaptability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to upload larger files onto the board as the current limit is 35MB. I would also like some increased granularity in sharing features for guest users, as the current options are limiting. Additionally, deeper integration with Microsoft Teams and Google Meet would enhance the product's usability alongside other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create a shared collaborative space, simplifying document storage and ideation, which enhances participation and focus on strategy rather than logistics. It democratizes ideation and makes client sessions more efficient, acting as a virtual whiteboard.

Overall, Miro's integration capabilities and user-friendly interface stand out positively for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Miro could benefit from having more shortcuts for all the functions. It might also be helpful to include a small tip section that shows how to use these shortcuts. This could streamline the workflow and improve efficiency for users.

Miro: Versatile and Intuitive, but the Workspace Can Be Confusing

  • November 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the flexibility of Miro. I can do many things with it, such as developing strategies, creating flowcharts, and conducting various collaborative exercises with my team. It is an intuitive tool to use, which means I can use it without having to spend a lot of time or energy studying complex manuals. Even without being an expert, I can produce graphically pleasing and functional results. Moreover, I can discover and employ other new features easily and quickly, depending on the type of work I need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Let's say that it's not always very easy for me to understand how the documents are organized in the Miro workspace, so I don't always feel comfortable navigating it. Moreover, in the templates, there are many things that are also very interesting, sometimes perhaps even too much, which makes them almost distracting. I would mainly say this. Other features, like sharing, I can't always quickly understand how to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create and share complex schematics and flowcharts with the team, improving visibility and collaboration. Miro is flexible and intuitive, allowing me to use it without extensive training and to adapt the features to the type of work.

Intuitive Tool for Effortless Idea Generation

  • November 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro for its intuitive and fast interface. It allows me to start brainstorming and creating ideas without unnecessary setup delays. The variety of professional-looking icons and shapes available in Miro enhances my diagrams and presentations. The ease with which I can drop these graphics into my work saves me time and helps articulate concepts more clearly without resorting to dull shapes. I appreciate how Miro makes collaboration easy by enabling sharing of whiteboards for team iteration and system design, something that boosts productivity. The capability to create professional diagrams rapidly is a standout feature for me. Because of this, I'm happy to recommend it over any other similar products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that sometimes Miro's icons and shapes don't behave or appear as I need them to. A specific issue is the inability to change the colors of some icons, which limits customization and flexibility. I wish it were easier to directly copy diagrams into PowerPoint, as the current process often requires creating PDFs or taking image screenshots.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for quick idea generation, creating professional diagrams easily, and sharing them effectively. It’s intuitive, faster than other tools, and provides professional icons and shapes, making my work more visually appealing and efficient.

Effortless Collaboration and Instant Productivity with Miro

  • November 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Miro is how simple it is to collaborate, especially when people are not in the same room. Conversations can proceed more quickly and remain more focused when everyone's cursors are visible, sticky notes can be added in real time, and ideas can be visually mapped out on a single, large shared canvas. I can start working right away rather than starting from scratch thanks to the templates for things like mind maps, user journeys, and retros.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like about Miro most is how this tool makes collaboration feel easy, especially when people are not in the same room. You can see everybody's cursors, you can add sticky notes in real time, and visually map out your ideas on one big shared canvas. This really makes conversations move faster and stay more focused. The templates for things like retros, mind maps, and user journeys save a lot of time; I jump right into the work, instead of building everything from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a single shared area with Miro where I can:

Instead of juggling lengthy chat threads or slide decks, brainstorm with the team in real time.

Workflows, user journeys, and plans should be visually mapped out so that everyone can quickly understand and align.

Organize workshops and retros from a distance without sacrificing the "in-room whiteboard" experience.
