Enhancing Product Design Workflows with Miro

  • June 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a Product Designer, I use Miro daily to support various stages of the design process. It plays a crucial role in facilitating discovery sessions and organizing qualitative research findings. Additionally, I rely on it for low-fidelity prototyping and creating user flow diagrams, thanks to its intuitive and collaborative interface. More recently, I’ve been leveraging Miro’s AI capabilities to assist with spell-checking text and generating insights based on collected data, which has significantly streamlined my workflow and enhanced the quality of my deliverables.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of using Miro is the limited typography customization within components and sticky notes, which can be restrictive when trying to create more visually distinct or organized boards. The shape options for sticky notes are also somewhat basic. Additionally, the recent update to the homepage thumbnails hasn’t been very appealing to me — I find it harder to quickly differentiate between boards, especially when they don’t have a custom thumbnail. A clearer way to identify and distinguish boards visually would greatly improve the browsing experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It accelerates the process of collecting, organizing, and visualizing qualitative research through an intuitive workspace. Boosts productivity by using built-in AI to instantly review text and extract actionable insights from data, saving valuable time during analysis.

Essential tool for product design and collaboration

  • June 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a Product Designer, Miro is essential to my daily workflow. I use it for user interviews, backlog grooming, brainstorming sessions, stakeholder alignment, and even design critiques. It’s incredibly intuitive and flexible, with powerful features like templates, sticky notes. It helps turn abstract ideas into clear visual flows that the whole team can engage with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I’ve experienced is the high memory usage when using Miro in Safari. It can get really slow or even unresponsive at times, which disrupts the flow of work. It works better in other browsers, but since Safari is my main browser on Mac, I’d love to see some optimization in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me centralize all stages of the design process in one place — from discovery and research to ideation and alignment with cross-functional teams. It eliminates the need for endless slide decks, scattered documents, and miscommunication. I can easily map user journeys, collect feedback, prioritize the backlog, and collaborate in real time with stakeholders, no matter where they are. It has drastically improved the clarity and speed of decision-making in my product design work.

Miro is my go to workspace

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to put everything in one place and being able to organize it how I want to. I like how visual I can make things. I like that I can share Miro and use it for workshops. Miro allows me to create a working space and create a sharing space. It is easy to use so I can make it part of all of my workshops. I use it everyday!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had trouble extracting my work from Miro in a readable format for others. If i have detailed work in Miro, when i export it it is too small for anyone to read. I wish I could share the visual experience in an easier, more readable way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro replaced all of my scrap paper drawings and allowed me to have everything in one place in a visual and shareable format. This helps me think, create, and collaborate. It also keeps my desk tidy :)

Miro has been a fantastic tool in our project – we are collaborating, brainstorming and visualizing our challenges in a way that makes them graspable. When putting things on the board, it helps me think and understand how to navigate in complex tasks!

Less thinking, more doing

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is my go to tool for when I need to think, and get my thoughts onto something tangible. I use it everyday at work. The features are extremely easy to use and intuitive. I have been utilising Miro for 2 years and there are times when I instinctively use other unrelated apps, I attempt things that only Miro allows as it has become second nature in Miro.

Miro meets me where I am, it isn't in your face about all the features it has, it lets you just do your thing, and when you need tools it is there to support. I can't do my work without it now.

The collaboration features are especially impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the size of the board can be overwhelming and the navigation sections are a bit complex.

I would like a most used feature that is easier to access, for example when I want to add an image there is a bit of clicking and scrolling to do this every time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to have all my notes in one place, and I'm able to use them with ease. It also allows me to collaborate with others easily, it saves us a lot of time.

Brilliant for Collaborative Workshops

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using MIRO for running workshops regularly. It’s intuitive, flexible, and makes collaboration feel effortless. Whether I’m mapping ideas, running icebreakers, or planning with a team remotely, it brings everything together in one place. A go-to tool for creative and productive sessions! I also always use this to map out my
What do you dislike about the product?
Genuinely for my use cases I haven't got any negative or constructive feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of remote and hybrid collaboration by providing a shared, visual workspace that feels as close to being in the same room as possible. It helps overcome the limitations of traditional video calls and static documents by enabling real-time co-creation, brainstorming, and planning. For me, it makes workshops more engaging and productive, allows for clear idea capture and prioritisation, and keeps everyone aligned even when we’re working from different locations. It’s also brilliant for pre-work and post-session follow-ups, making it a true end-to-end collaboration tool.

Miro is the best collaboration tool out there

  • June 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro's features/capabilities are heads and shoulders above alternatives like Figjam, Mural, Google Jamboards. I've been leading product development and training projects with remote teams for years using Miro. It accepts almost any input and you can organize it a million different ways. I also use Miro as an interactive classroom space. Miro's flexibility means it's my first step when I start a project or task. I couldn't live without it.

I've onboarded a number of colleagues to Miro, and it's always easy for them to pick up how it works. It also integrates with so many enterprise software tools — Jira, Google suite, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to remember where you put things in Miro. I'd like their search capability to be more robust.

I've built my own Miro onboarding tool, but I wish there were a quick video or something I could send new users that would help them have confidence when they first start using the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is the flexible collaborative whiteboard my team needs to tackle complex projects. I like that we start with a blank canvas so we can add templates as we figure out what we need.
