What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility of Miro which allows me to plan and execute any project with my team seamlessly. The free plan is fantastic, especially for small startups like ours, providing incredible value without unnecessary costs. I find Miro to be very intuitive, which is a huge plus as even team members who are not tech-savvy can manage it with ease, making collaboration exceptionally smooth. The platform's ability to let us visualize the exact flow and plan out marketing funnels specifically helps us identify and resolve issues quickly. The easy setup process was awe-inspiring; it significantly minimized the time and effort required to get my team up and running. Above all, Miro's ability to facilitate open communication by allowing us to easily address issues and comments during the planning phases stands out strongly, making our teamwork more efficient and productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I genuinely can't think of anything. For what it does, it is great. Maybe if there were more shapes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to visually plan marketing campaigns, facilitating easy flow visualization and issue resolution. Its intuitive design and free plan improve team collaboration, even for non-techies, offering versatility for any project.

Mind mapping and planning with Miro

  • November 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
User interface is quite clear, and it is simple, which is much appreciated when using a new tool and a collaborative option is always a big plus when trying to work on a project with other people. Miro is also a good option when a meeting with other members requires visual help. I have never contacted your customer support so cannot speak on this one.
What do you dislike about the product?
When others haven't heard about Miro, and it is another new tool it is a heavy lifting to convince to use it also, when preparing for a meeting and using miro with people who have never used it it is a challenge. When it comes to the usability, some navigability issues espcially when it comes to dragging objects and resizing it is not so intuitive as it could have been. Also tools for project management could have been clearer to make sure to take a full advantage. There is a lot of features but difficult to use without the knowledge of them. Because not many people use the tool, frequency of usage is sometimes lost - usually I use it once a week but need to remember in order to go fully make it a habit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brain-storming and mapping out ideas is more collaborative and engaging.

Intuitive and Effortless Diagramming with Miro

  • November 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive and quick to use Miro is, which streamlines my workflow when creating diagrams and flowcharts. The user interface is particularly impressive, as it allows me to find necessary tools with ease, whether I'm jotting down a quick idea or working on more elaborate projects. The extensive component library stands out as a significant advantage for me, especially with the inclusion of relevant service provider icons like Google Cloud. This feature greatly aids in effectively communicating architectural diagrams to stakeholders, as it allows for clearer representation of vendors and platforms involved, rather than plain boxes. Additionally, I find the search feature within Miro powerful, consistently helping me to locate the specific components I need without hassle. The initial setup was remarkably straightforward, facilitating a seamless transition to getting started. Overall, these elements contribute to a highly efficient and beneficial experience with Miro, one that I would enthusiastically recommend to others, as reflected by my willingness to rate it a 10 on a recommendation scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Miro lacking in the ability to create sequence diagrams using text-based markup like PlantUML or Mermaid, which is a feature available in some other similar tools I have used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro intuitive and quick for creating diagrams and idea boards. Its component library and search feature efficiently support complex design projects, effectively communicating architectural designs and vendor platforms to stakeholders.

Efficient Brainstorming with New AI, Needs Talktrack Fixes

  • November 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro for its ability to aid in Product Management brainstorming sessions, particularly by helping me frame my ideas and organize workshops, which brings people together effectively. Its supportive environment for throwing in ideas is invaluable as it offers helpful tools like stickies to organize thoughts, ideas, and pain points efficiently. The new AI feature significantly enhances my ability to organize content, making workflows smoother and more coherent. Additionally, Miro's templates are incredibly useful, reducing my workload and articulating ideas clearly without the hassle of constantly coming up with new structures or frameworks. From my experience over the past year, I found the initial setup to be remarkably easy, which made integration and ongoing use extremely pleasant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the 'record with talktrack' option problematic. While it's a valuable feature, it often did not function as expected, with recorded videos frequently being unplayable. This issue affected both me and my colleagues, and it essentially rendered the feature unreliable for capturing and sharing presentations. Additionally, improvements could include better integration for recording and playback, and incorporating a transcription feature to enhance usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize and articulate my ideas using templates and AI, facilitating effective brainstorming and workshops. It helps me frame thoughts and bring teams together, enhancing productivity in product management tasks.

Perfect Platform for Collaborative Teaching and Teamwork

  • November 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a perfect platform for teaching and collaborative study. It allows me to create online simulations for my students. Students can see their classmates' actions and have fun while remaining focused on teamwork. In short, Miro strengthens team spirit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to add — everything works well for me. The only minor issue is that when I copy a board within my team, each copy opens automatically. If I need several copies, I have to wait for each one to open and close them before I can continue copying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Ukrainian professor who teaches exclusively online—a common approach in the border regions of my country—I have found Miro to be an outstanding platform for making online education genuinely engaging. In my world history classes I created a simulation game in Miro that students greatly enjoy. I believe this role-playing–based game, which draws on best practices in role play, will help students develop a real love of history.

Indispensable Visual Aid for Remote Work

  • November 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro extensively in my work as a Product Designer. The platform is a versatile tool that supports a wide range of tasks such as product discovery, conceptualization, and alignment with stakeholders, making it an essential part of my workflow. Its visual capabilities serve as a powerful aid beyond verbal discussions, enabling me to create living, scalable work artifacts with its excellent interaction and collaboration functions. As a fully remote worker, I find Miro invaluable due to its ease of use, which adapts seamlessly to my current needs. I appreciate the wide range of possibilities: I can set up minimal boards with basics like screenshots and post-it comments, or complex roadmap tables. The balance Miro strikes between skeuomorphism and digital modernity in its design aesthetic enhances my experience by reflecting the feel of a real-world whiteboard in a digital format. The intuitive aesthetics and user-friendly interface make everything feel like it's in the right place. Additionally, Miro's performance is robust and its design is aesthetically pleasing, making it a joy to use daily. It's a tool I can't imagine my current work life without, to the extent that it's part of my daily routine and even in my browser's starting tabs. Overall, I am a huge fan of Miro, giving it a full 10/10 recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the overview of my boards could be better despite noticing improvements in board management, a long-standing pain point for me. I think that board thumbnails or quick previews would help improve this clarity. Additionally, comment notifications often confuse me; I lose track of new comments and where I've been tagged within various boards. The lack of clear notifications makes it difficult to stay updated, especially when working with large boards and multiple colleagues. Moreover, as a visual person, I find it challenging to locate boards based solely on meta data like titles and creation dates. Often, I have to open multiple boards before finding the one I need. Lastly, I face challenges with the lack of seamless integration between Miro and Figma. Copy-pasting frames manually is inconvenient, and although there is an (unofficial?) miro plugin in Figma, it has been buggy and unreliable in my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro enhances collaboration and visualization, helping with product discovery, conceptualization, stakeholder alignment, and more. It offers easy setup, aesthetic design, and boosts my productivity as a remote worker.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how clear and easy it is to use. Its great for creating and presenting flow of ideas to the team and clients
What do you dislike about the product?
the navigation could be a bit better, im not familiar with using toggle points on miro - or if there is one, but it would be good if we can have an internal button/link function that can be used to navigate better.

It could also be good to get a notification when you are assigned a task
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative work with the wider team. This consist of external designers and clients and it has been much easier assigning tasks and looking at project timeline with miro and presenting them in a way thats visual and interactive
