Its aesthetically pleasing design and the variety of visual tools available are especially useful for creating attractive and effective presentations. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, allowing me to start working without significant issues. I use Miro along with Microsoft Planner, and this integration is very effective in my workflow. I would recommend Miro with full confidence, which is reflected in my decision to rate it 10 out of 10 in recommendation to friends or colleagues.

Simplicity and Amazing Design

  • November 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the simplicity and beautiful designs of Miro, which make using the tool a pleasant experience. The ability to drag and drop elements and then connect points is so simple that I love it. Also, when I move a shape, everything readjusts automatically, which is very convenient. The option to delve into layers is a feature I value, as it allows me to work with greater detail. I also appreciate the ability to make annotations and set up templates to avoid having to start from scratch each time. The initial setup was super easy, which allowed me to start quickly without complications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it difficult when an image is placed on top of all other shapes and there is no direct command that says 'send to back'. I have to send it backward little by little, and among so many shapes, it's hard to click on the shape I want to send to the back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to capture ideas and get an overview of complex concepts. Its simplicity and beautiful designs allow me to easily create diagrams, rearrange shapes, make annotations, and use templates, which simplifies my work without repeating tasks.

Ideal for Students with Intuitive Note-Taking

  • November 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro primarily for my studies and I find it to be incredibly beneficial for brainstorming and taking notes. The platform boasts a clean user interface and a highly effective sharing mechanism that makes collaboration with peers seamless. What stands out to me the most are the sticky notes feature which makes it easy to jot down notes and create flowcharts, aiding in my study process and memory retention. Additionally, connecting these sticky notes is straightforward, allowing me to organize information according to my preferences and review them effortlessly later on. Miro's ease of use, right from the initial setup, has enabled me to integrate it smoothly with other tools like Word and Excel, further enhancing my productivity. The AI features, despite limited use, have been exceptionally helpful in organizing my thoughts and saving time. These aspects make Miro a vital tool in my academic toolkit, and I am highly likely to recommend it to others, scoring it a perfect 10 on likelihood to recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not in a financial situation to pay for the premium features, particularly the AI features. These features are highly valuable as they help me organize my thoughts and save time, but the limited access to these features restricts my learning. As a student, more accessible options for these features would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro excellent for brainstorming and taking notes, with a clean UI and easy sharing. Sticky notes help quickly organize ideas and flowcharts, enhancing my study efficiency and improving note revision.

I love using Miro for its ability to facilitate collaboration, especially with people I cannot meet in person. It successfully helps me to organize my thoughts and creatively express ideas, essentially allowing my brain to align with its design. The flexibility of the graphs and figures that Miro offers is particularly valuable to me. These tools make it easy for me to visualize thoughts and transform confusing ideas into a logical structure on the screen. Additionally, I find the initial setup of Miro to be pretty easy and logical, which is a major plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be nice to have more useful diagrams available for free because the nicest are in the pro version. Additionally, I would offer more variety of maps and colors in the free version.

I use Miro for remote collaboration and to organize my thoughts visually, making it easier to clarify confusing ideas.

I use Miro for a variety of tasks, such as retrospectives, UX workshops, and research, and I find it incredibly effective and efficient for collaboration, especially since it allows my team to work together seamlessly whether they are remote or in person. One thing that really stands out to me is the availability of great templates, which make it so easy to get started on new projects. These templates provide ready-made canvases, sparing me the need to devise new flows from scratch and streamlining our workflow considerably. Additionally, the initial setup process was remarkably easy, particularly because I could integrate it with Google, which simplified things significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the potential for an AI feature to create new templates would be useful, suggesting that the current offerings could be limiting in certain creative workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is easy to manage and allows me to use large boards, which are both compact and brilliant for organizing my work tasks like storyboarding, assets direction, and guidelines. I find the ability to upload content such as images, GIFs, and videos highly valuable for enhancing my projects. Furthermore, I appreciate that Miro integrates with Slack, keeping me instantly informed about updates, which helps maintain a seamless workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the performance issues with the Miro desktop app, which frequently crashes or refreshes, disrupting my workflow. It's slower than the web app, and I often have to wait a considerable amount of time for the board to reload, which hampers my efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is perfect for collaboration across teams and different countries. For visual learners, this is easy to use and implement across your workflows. Templates also help with getting started. Multiple users can be in a board at once, which helps management see who/what/where.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working on large projects with many components, it can sometimes feel overwhelming. Having the ability to navigate directly from a main project menu to various elements would make the process much more manageable. Figma is still needed for a larger design project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a large, dispersed team and Miro helps everyone understand everything that goes into our projects. Outstanding items, items being worked on, and idea brain dumps can be found in one place.

Essential Tool for Diverse Project Needs

  • November 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro extensively for both personal and professional projects. It serves as the perfect platform for planning, organizing, and storing a variety of media such as files, links, and pictures in one centralized location. At work, as a Product Director, I find it invaluable for starting new projects because it allows me to visualize ideas, gather notes, address issues, and facilitate collaboration seamlessly. Miro's features are exceptionally versatile, offering a suite of tools like document creation and mockups that create a comprehensive ecosystem for my work. The flexibility to handle multiple document formats, diagrams, and sticky notes, among others, in a single space is something I deeply appreciate. Its interface is user-friendly and straightforward, which contributes to its ease of use. Over the years, I have noticed the consistent addition of new features, many of which I have found to be quite useful. Moreover, the initial setup was very easy, all contributing to a smooth experience overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue that affects my workflow is the requirement to be zoomed in enough to edit arrows that connect different elements on the Miro board. This change has influenced my experience negatively, especially when I need to connect elements that are further apart. Previously, I could connect items with a larger zoom out, which was more convenient for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to visualize thoughts, gather media, and organize ideas in one place. It simplifies project planning, creates an ecosystem for documentation, and enhances collaboration with its flexible interface.
