Effortless Collaboration and User-Friendly Design
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how easy it is to use. It removes friction, and teammates can jump in and collaborate seamlessly without needing a long onboarding or explanation. It just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only real dislike is that Miro doesn’t naturally lead me into exploring or using its other capabilities. I feel like there’s a lot of value in the platform that I’m probably not taking advantage of, but the product doesn’t guide me there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Miro solves alignment and workflow fragmentation. It gives sales and marketing a shared space to plan, visualize, and stay connected throughout a process rather than working in slides, docs, or scattered notes. It’s also been valuable in conversations with prospects and the visual workflows help them clearly see how we support multiple parts of their business, which would be much harder to explain in text or slides. The result is faster alignment, clearer decision-making, and better shared understanding across teams.
Flexible, Easy-to-Use, Needs Better Collaboration Features
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro to be very flexible and easy to use, which makes it highly approachable even for those who may not have extensive technical knowledge. The simplicity of its tools allows me to quickly start working on projects without a steep learning curve. I appreciate how Miro enables me to visually represent my ideas, which is incredibly important when collaborating with designers and engineers. This visual representation is often more effective than written documents for reaching a common understanding during discussions. Miro’s platform, even as it integrates more complex features like AI, maintains a user-friendly interface that helps me accomplish my tasks efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the Miro AI feature below my expectations. I anticipated it being more intuitive and capable of executing basic commands through simple prompts, akin to interacting with GPT. Unfortunately, it's often difficult to use effectively. Additionally, the lack of interoperability with Figma is frustrating. I see it as a missed opportunity for both platforms to enhance user functionality through compatibility, rather than competing. Lastly, managing multiple accounts and team memberships is a cumbersome process. Often, I lose track of which account I'm using, resulting in unnecessary charges for collaborators who are no longer active. The chaos of maintaining separate accounts for varied purposes and figuring out shared content adds to the frustration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize sessions, run workshops, and represent workflows, facilitating collaboration. Its simplicity and flexibility make it the easiest way to visualize ideas, especially in discussions with engineers and designers, better than written documents.
Versatile Collaboration with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro daily at work for collaboration, planning, brainstorming, workshops, and general team activities. Miro is a fast and easy collaboration tool, effectively transforming messy brain dumping into structured, useful content, plans, or frameworks. Its flexibility is valuable, allowing work in various formats such as tabular, flowcharts, cards with tags, and links. I particularly appreciate the new document and table objects, along with the AI features, which are great additions that I heavily rely on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the older foundational components like stickies and grids seem outdated and need an update. It's easy for novice users to unintentionally mess up boards, especially during workshops. The stickies are janky and the font behavior often appears chaotic. Frames have several issues including a redundant title that should be removed, bugs with object snapping to cells, a lack of object alignment within frames and need for greater content management abilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for seamless collaboration in planning and brainstorming, transforming ideas into structured content efficiently. Its flexible formats, including tables and flowcharts, and innovative AI features enhance our productivity in diverse team activities.
Intuitive Collaborative Space, Intimidating Start
What do you like best about the product?
I greatly appreciate the simplicity of Miro, which makes it easy to use even for complex tasks. The real-time collaboration tool is extremely valuable as it allows multiple people to work together efficiently, regardless of their location. This feature promotes smooth and dynamic cooperation, essential for my studies. Moreover, Miro offers an infinite canvas, which is ideal for organizing and exploring a large number of ideas without space constraints, supporting a creative and expansive workflow. These practical tools facilitate the visualization and structuring of thoughts and projects in a visual manner, which is a major asset in an academic context.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a new user, the infinite web and the multitude of tools can be intimidating at first. It would be advantageous to have onboarding tutorials and to offer a series of guided mini-tasks to facilitate adoption. Additionally, an improvement of the search bar would allow for easier navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize my ideas thanks to its vast space and practical tools, and it allows real-time collaboration with an infinite canvas.
User-Friendly and Perfect for Collaborative Mapping
What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's user-friendliness, especially when creating and manipulating flowcharts. The ability to drag boxes around seamlessly in flowcharts makes my tasks easier and more efficient compared to using tools like Microsoft Word, which can be clunky and displace text. Additionally, Miro is very useful for mapping physical spaces and integrating these with flowcharts, which aids in effectively sharing design ideas with others. The initial setup of Miro was straightforward as it was simple to sign in with my NHS email, which added to the overall ease of use. My positive experience with Miro has even encouraged my colleagues to adopt it; they saw its value and are now sharing Miro boards with me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think having a feature to actually create a mapped space directly in Miro would be beneficial, as currently, I have to rely on other tools to achieve this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to map hospital ward spaces by creating flowcharts and diagrams, helping me visually organize and share design ideas easily with others.
Streamlined Organization with Miro, Needs Quicker Note Creation
What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro's ability to consolidate all of my disorganized thoughts into one board and organize them effectively. It allows me to see everything in a project at a glance on a single board, which is incredibly valuable for my work. Whether it's clustering themes from insights, project planning, or organizing my thoughts, Miro serves as a digital whiteboard that perfectly captures these needs. This functionality is intrinsic to its design, not relying upon specific additional capabilities but harnessing the core strengths of a digital whiteboard to enhance my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the process of creating new digital sticky notes in Miro cumbersome and wish it were faster and simpler. A feature such as a double-click shortcut would greatly enhance the ease and speed of creating a new blank white sticky note.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize my thoughts and research, clustering insights into themes and enhancing project planning by visualizing everything on a single board.
Visual and Effective Collaboration at a Distance
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro because I can design from a simple workshop to complex sessions. I find it very visual and intuitive, which makes designing templates easy and makes the dynamics agile, participative, and not at all boring. It allows me to keep all the work "alive" in one place, so the team can come back later and continue collaborating. I enjoy how fluid it is to work in real-time with several people at the same time on the same board. This shared visual space is especially valuable when working remotely or in a hybrid manner, allowing all voices to participate and collaborate effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features like permissions and project organization may have a steeper learning curve for people using it for the first time. Also, at the beginning, the initial setup of Miro is not very easy, with a medium difficulty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to facilitate remote and hybrid workshops, allowing everyone to participate visually. It resolves the lack of clarity in complex processes and improves collaboration. Miro is intuitive, visual, and keeps the work accessible for the team.
Versatile Tool with Robust Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Miro solves many challenges for me in project management and brainstorming by providing quick access to mock-ups and superior versatility and robustness compared to other software we use. The functionality is so comprehensive that I feel equipped with everything I need for visualization and brainstorming tasks. I love the clean and clear interface along with the abundant tools it offers, enabling me to produce varied creatives, whether it's creating slides or drawing. Additionally, the sharing links work exceptionally well, and knowing that there is a library of templates and resources available adds to my confidence in using Miro. The initial setup of Miro was incredibly easy, allowing for a seamless start with the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slides could be a bit cleaner to create and modify. It would be beneficial to have a submenu that allows for easier creation of slide templates and modification of individual slide content. Currently, it is not simple enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for project management and brainstorming, offering versatility, robust functionality, and quick access to mock-ups, enhancing my work's visualization and creativity.
Effortless Workflow Outlining and Seamless Editing
