Intuitive Collaboration with Room for Improvement

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is intuitive, making it easy to explain to other participants who haven't used the software before. Its simplicity allows for seamless collaboration without requiring participants to have an account or log in, which is ideal for quick, on-the-go settings with a high number of users. The platform's features, such as quick sticky note creation and the comment functionality, facilitate efficient feedback collection, improving my ability to perform tasks better. Miro excels in promoting fun, interactive activities for team bonding, icebreakers, and workshop facilitation. Over the years, I have seen significant innovation and growth in Miro, which is quite commendable. It is a platform that listens to clients and consistently incorporates feedback to improve its offerings. The aesthetically pleasing layout and auto-populating factors make it visually appealing and valuable in my work. The initial setup experience was also straightforward, which contributed to its seamless integration into our team’s workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the arrow connectors in Miro to be problematic as they can sometimes auto-connect or behave unpredictably, which disrupts the workflow. I also dislike the limitations regarding sticky notes, where I can't add additional non-visible details unless I use a specific type of box that isn't visually appealing. It would be great if I could add hidden details to regular sticky notes that appear upon hover or click (this would make me use the platform a lot more). Similarly, when someone clicks on a box and goes offline, it locks others out of interacting with that box until they return, which can be detrimental during collaborative sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for easy collaboration, allowing feedback without needing accounts, enabling quick interactive brainstorming, and creating diagrams. It's intuitive, solving issues with bulky software and enhancing team interaction.

  • December 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro works like a blank slate, providing all the necessary tools to effectively develop or outline any topic. Its ability to be collaborative and allow for online or virtual work is invaluable. What I value most is the flexibility it offers by allowing any idea to be captured or group dynamics to be conducted that address topics of interest, perfectly adapting to my mental structure. Additionally, with Miro, I can create everything from mind maps and conceptual maps to organizational charts and strategic flowcharts. I appreciate that the initial setup is extremely easy and intuitive, which makes it easy to start using Miro quickly. It is also especially beneficial for developing strategic plans in companies and organizations, highlighting its usefulness in corporate environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a board is shared with someone who has the basic version of Miro, exporting it to PDF results in a blurry output.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro as a blank canvas with tools to develop strategic plans, collaborate online, and outline ideas. It facilitates group dynamics, concept maps, organizational charts, and flowcharts intuitively.
