Versatile Whiteboard for Creative Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to create to-do lists for all my projects and also for brainstorming or gathering inspiration for architectural and design projects. I love how Miro allows me to lay everything out in one area, similar to brainstorming on pen and paper, just digitally. It's more catered to designers, which I really appreciate. I value its versatility and the ability to have multiple people collaborate or leave notes, which makes remote work easy and helps with the brainstorming process. The initial setup was super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can lag a little sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro lets me lay everything out in one area, like brainstorming on paper but digital, which I love for architecture and design projects. Its versatility and ability to collaborate remotely make brainstorming easy.
Flexible Tool for Visual Collaboration and Real-Time Teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for brainstorming ideas, creating visual workflows, and collaborating with teams in real time on projects and discussions. Miro helps me organize scattered ideas, improve team alignment, and collaborate smoothly in one shared visual space, especially when working remotely. I like Miro most for its flexibility and visual freedom—it lets me customize boards easily and adapt them to different tasks without feeling restricted. Miro works especially well as a shared thinking space; it turns abstract ideas into clear visuals instantly and keeps creative energy flowing without breaking collaboration. The initial setup was very easy and quick; we were able to onboard the team smoothly using templates and start collaborating almost immediately. It's a powerful and flexible tool that makes collaboration easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro could improve by offering lighter performance on low-end devices, simpler access to advanced tools, and more intuitive board organization for long-term projects.

Versatile and Easy to Use, But Collaboration Licensing Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Miro's versatility; you can almost do anything in it. It's like a whiteboard on steroids, yet it's more than that. I find its ease of use great because nothing takes too long to work out, and it's made clear to me if something can't be done, and offers similar options. For example, while I can't drop a Microsoft PowerPoint file onto a board, I can drop a PDF and other MS apps, and it shows me what will work. The initial setup was super easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I like the least is when I wish to collaborate for one meeting with a group of people who don't have licenses - their ability to interact with me seems limited. Miro doesn't acknowledge existing licenses from other instances either, so I have to pay for another license to allow someone to collaborate fully on my shared board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for process mapping, mind mapping, and collaborating in real-time with colleagues globally. Its versatility and ease of use make it more than a 'whiteboard on steroids.' I also appreciate the guidance on compatibility with different file types.
Streamlined Workshops with Effective Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for several things, but mostly different types of workshops. It shortens the time from idea to delivery, and I love the possibility to work together in the same board as a remote team. The initial setup was easy, and I've been a user for over five years. I'm connected to my Google Drive, which is handy. I can't really name any issues, sometimes there were historical difficulties in understanding the UX/UI, but not anymore. I would definitely recommend Miro to a friend or colleague, giving it a solid 10, since there's nothing to complain about.

AI-Powered Discovery and Design That Speeds Up User Flows
What do you like best about the product?
Love that you can use it for discovery and design aspects. I use it mainly to map intended behaviours and user flows and the AI assistant is super helpful with generating quick diagrams to help me work faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things are bit clunky when it comes to collaboration. Would be nicer if some features weren’t gated on this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me map user flows and intended behaviours.
Unlimited Space, Worry-Free Storage
What do you like best about the product?
I can do anything without worrying about running out of space.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I try to download the charts, they don’t come out on a single page, and the file quality isn’t good enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to create charts for my company.
Miro Makes Process Mapping and Team Alignment Fast, Visual, and Collaborative
What do you like best about the product?
In my work, we often discuss processes, training flows, and operational issues across multiple teams, and explaining things only through calls or documents gets messy. With Miro, I can map workflows, create step-by-step process boards, and visually break down system flows in a way everyone understands quickly.
I especially like the flexibility of the canvas, we can start with rough brainstorming and then gradually organize it into proper diagrams, swimlanes, or structured boards without switching tools. The real-time collaboration is also a big plus; multiple stakeholders can contribute at the same time, which speeds up alignment and reduces back-and-forth emails.
Another thing I appreciate is the templates. They save a lot of time when creating training structures, planning sessions, or process discussions. Instead of starting from scratch, we can focus on the content and decision-making.
Overall, Miro helps convert discussions into something visual, actionable, and easy to revisit later, which improves clarity and execution.

What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge with Miro is that boards can become cluttered very quickly, especially when many people are collaborating at the same time. Without strong structure or moderation, it’s easy for content to get scattered across the canvas, which makes it harder to revisit later. For large projects, we sometimes need extra time just to reorganize the board so it stays usable.
Another downside is performance on heavy boards. When a board has lots of diagrams, images, and sticky notes, it can start lagging, especially on slower internet connections or older systems. This can affect smooth collaboration during live sessions.
There’s also a bit of a learning curve for new users. While the tool is powerful, first-time users can feel overwhelmed by the number of features and options. Some teammates need initial guidance before they feel comfortable navigating boards confidently.
Lastly, exporting or converting boards into more formal documentation formats isn’t always as seamless as expected. We sometimes need to manually recreate structured outputs (like formal process docs or presentations) outside Miro.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro mainly solves the problem of misalignment during discussions, especially when multiple teams are involved. Earlier, a lot of our conversations around processes, training structures, and operational flows happened over calls, chats, or long documents. The problem was that everyone understood things slightly differently, which led to rework and confusion later.
Using Miro, we can visually map workflows, responsibilities, and system flows in one shared space. This reduces ambiguity because people can see the process rather than interpret it from text. It has significantly improved clarity during cross-team discussions, especially when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
It also solves the problem of scattered planning. Instead of ideas being spread across emails, spreadsheets, and notes, we centralize brainstorming, planning, and structuring on a single board. This helps us track how an idea evolved into an action plan, which is useful when revisiting decisions.
Another benefit is during training and knowledge sharing. Visual boards make it easier to explain complex operational or system-related topics step by step. New team members understand processes faster compared to reading long documentation.
Overall, Miro helps us move from talking about work to visually organizing work, which improves alignment, speeds up decision-making, and reduces follow-up clarification efforts.
