Great Whiteboard Tool for Collaboration

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool for collaborating, it is simple and easy to use. I like that it can serve as a digital whiteboard for employees and teams who are working remotely. I also find it extremely convenient that it includes a wide range of tools like sticky notes and diagram blocks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can be difficult to navigate when a board gets too large (it can be challenging to find a specific stop on the board). Something like a board search tool, or the ability to collapse sections of a board would be incredibly helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the need for engineers and designers to work together to visualize plans and other concepts. It helps bridge the gap between in person and remote collaboration, and it acts as a repository where past plans and designs can be referenced in the future.

Easy Setup, Essential for Game Design

  • April 21, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for game development and game design, and it really helps by organizing different resources, references, ideas, and materials in a specified area with proper representation. I like everything about it. The text, emojis, banners, colors, and frames are particularly valuable because they make my tasks easy. It's also very easy to get started with Miro, just sign up, make a board, or use a template and get started. I've also connected it with Google Sheets and Docs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that instead of just giving 3 boards for the free version, 5 would be more appropriate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps by organizing different resources, references, ideas, and materials in a specified area with proper representation, making my tasks easy.

Real-Time Team Collaboration for Tasks, Mind Maps, and PI Events

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Real-time interaction with teams to complete tasks, create mind maps, and support PI events, among other activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the vastness is great, it can also make it challenging to find where you need to be. Switching back and forth between the pointer and your finger can be confusing, especially for users who aren’t as experienced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since our PI planning is remote, it solves the challenge of not being in the same room and still allows teams to see sticky notes live and have direct cross-functional conversations. It also helps when doing mind mapping and retrospectives on projects, and it lets us document problems and issues while assigning ownership for follow-up improvements.

Miro Makes Team Brainstorming and Visualization Effortless

  • April 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro helps teams brainstorm together and visualize their thoughts together so that's quite helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think if you're not a visual person it would be a distraction however the UI is good. I don't think there's anything to improve per se. it's just not very helpful if you're not someone who can easily visualize and doesn't synthesize information in the manner that miro presents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I recently used it to collaborate as a team on a lead journey flow. each person was able to place their cards and thoughts and we could use emojis to simply highlight what was needed and what wasn't. it was a great board to lay out ideas and then arrange those ideas. with that we got to decide next steps and connect the missing pieces.

Dynamic Project Planning with Easy Setup

  • April 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for project planning, research, and brainstorming, and I find it really good to lay out various ideas and share them with others to collaborate on projects. I particularly like the way I can put different flowcharts together and use sticky notes on a page. The customization options, like being able to join up sections of a flowchart easily, use various colors, and customize those colors using hex values, are really useful to me. Additionally, the setup was very easy for me, which made getting started with Miro straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it a little difficult when doing multiline connections in flowcharts to connect multiple boxes to other boxes. It's hard to align them the right way to clearly show the relationships between each section. Also, the various shapes aren't as good as I would like without buying a more advanced platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for project planning, research, and brainstorming. It's really good for laying out ideas and sharing them with my team for collaboration. It allows them to add their own thoughts and comments on the board I'm working on.

Collaborative and Zoomable, Perfect for Class Organization

  • April 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro for its collaborative features, which allow everyone to work together seamlessly. The graphical interface is fantastic, offering a desktop-style organization that's both organized and easy to navigate. I love how it's zoomable, providing an 'at a glance' view, and you can zoom in on areas of interest to get more detail. It's been incredibly helpful for organizing my class in my Masters Program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe if there were more options for content and templates. It has a bit of a learning curve but we got into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides an 'at a glance' and zoomable organized desktop-style organization. It's collaborative and graphical, allowing for a single overview and the ability to zoom in on areas of interest.
