A versatile tool for collaboration and project planning

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers a wide range of features that are especially useful for architects and teams. The board allows you to design diagrams, add pictures, and include sticky notes for comments. We use it for many purposes such as project planning, failure analysis, and brainstorming. It is beneficial for both technical and management-related work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing Excel files directly on the board is not very user-friendly. Adding tables—whether new or imported from Excel—needs improvement. Additionally, the icons could be more intuitive and consistent to enhance the overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us collaborate effectively while working remotely. The shared board allows team members to work together in real time, make changes instantly, and brainstorm ideas visually. It eliminates the back-and-forth of emails or static documents by providing a single, interactive space. This flexibility improves productivity, enhances communication, and ensures that everyone stays aligned during discussions, workshops, and project planning.

    Consulting

Miro is a key tool in our consultant toolbox

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is so flexible - we can think, plan and collaborate with clients on work or just work through our own thoughts.

There's not often a day where I don't have it open, with at least 3-4 boards being worked on by myself or others.

We diagram, map features, collate research and design in Miro - its easy enough to bring clients into boards as well, with only a few mins needed to get them up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI features are still a work in progress - I would love to be able to not just cluster by keyword but synthesise and summarise work more easily.

Sharing boards can also sometimes be tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us capture:
- Client discovery
- Client structure
- Systems and data

And present back to clients easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexible whiteboard with collaboration in mind, so many different uses. We use for sales process mapping, marketing campaign planning and review, marketing collateral review, email drip campaign creation and review + general brain storming.
Regular updates mean there's always something new to try.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more complicated the creation, the more tricky it gets to edit but that's a very minor quibble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Top level vision of processes and their inputs - provides great clarity of complicated workflows.
Large marketing campaign review - enormous amounts of information on one page, easy to zoom into the areas of interest

Go-to online whiteboard

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, onboard and tons of useful features if you're a pro user. I like that they don't clog up the interface with features that beginners do not need because I invite guest users all the time to collaborate one-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to upload mp4 or videos :(
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro all the time to hold visual and creative workshops with my clients so it's a very useful collaboration tool. I also use it to brainstorm either on my own or with my colleagues. The simplicity allows us to focus on the goals at hand instead of fussing over the functions / features.

Great team collaborating tool to share ideas

  • September 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is super easy to get your (and your teams) hands on and use. It allows for multiple users to create and share at the same time. Creating individual boards and also the ability to sketch on it is especially important. It's also great for team planning given some very useful and aesthetic template. Also allows for a range of exchange format to be imported, making the process integrated very well with local files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you have too many large files imported and large amount of people working on the same board, it can get quite laggy occasionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It eases the process of collaborating and sharing thoughts when the team is not all at the same location, and we can always just throw ideas to the board whenever something comes up and refer back to it when we need to.

  • September 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Good for flowcharts as you can create nice looking diagrams easily
What do you dislike about the product?
The alignment on shapes is not always the most intuitive, it doesn't snap to where I would expect
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping out flow charts for technical architecture, process flows, and also user story mapping

Versatile platform for all our product needs!

  • September 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Miro is it's ease of use and collaboration features. I find it particularly useful while designing complex workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well one of the things is the pricing. Free plan features are limited. Being a small team, even the starter $8/mo/member becomes a lot when a few people are working together, more so when our product isn't generating revenue. A less pricier $5/mo/member plan would be ideal in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us a LOT when we are designing complex workflows, especially for AI agents.

Game-changing tool

  • September 21, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
Essentially a digital pinboard, this product allows incredible ideation and collaboration with team members. It has totally reshaped how I work. It’s missing a couple of fairly essential commands, like mirror image, and has some drawbacks like not being able to handle PDF’s well. It could be a great place for adding hand sketches directly through an iPad, but that also take a lot of processing power and doesn’t work well if there’s more than a few images on the board. The web linking to an image is an incredible feature, as is the background removal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tool limitations like mirror image command. PDF processing difficulty, board capacity issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows very productive design working sessions with team members who are remote
