Essential for Design Team Collaboration

  • December 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly valuable for collaborating with my design team on new developments. The platform allows us to organize detailed mood boards and inspirational materials in various configurations, which is reminiscent of the 'pin ups' we used in design school. I particularly like the expansive board available in Miro; it is vast and accommodates a large number of items, yet I can zoom in closely to focus on individual elements. This feature makes it feel like working on a real-life whiteboard or corkboard, allowing us to arrange items naturally without the constraints of a traditional slide format. The initial setup of Miro was intuitive and seamless for my team, and we immediately started utilizing it, which indicates its user-friendly nature. Overall, Miro proves to be an exceptionally useful tool for designing and mood boarding collaboration, making our creative processes more efficient and enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the text inputs feel a bit clunky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the Miro to collaborate with my design team, organizing mood boards effectively, and enabling natural, detailed discussions like a real-life whiteboard. Its vast board and zoom feature enhance focus on individual elements.

Good Collaborative Tool, Some Tools Need Work

  • December 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro for its strong collaborative aspect, which is incredibly helpful in working and discussing ideas with my team. I also value the ability to incorporate images and draw over them, which enhances the way we can sketch out concepts together. The layout capabilities of Miro further aid in organizing our ideas efficiently during collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the drawing tools, especially the lines, need significant improvement as most users input with a mouse. A polyline tool would be a big help. Additionally, the login, invites, and signup processes can have issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for collaboration and sketching concepts, benefiting from its collaborative aspects. It solves the challenge of discussing ideas collectively with tools for layout and drawing over images.

Effortless Collaboration and User Adoption

  • December 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find it extremely easy to use and collaborate with. It's easy to get other people to adopt using it as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not that I can think of. I would say I use Miro weekly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem was getting everyone to understand the user journey and the experience we were trying to achieve via workflows. I was able to put in our design into Miro, and review with our dev team what ticket were needed to make it real. At that point, I was then able to get with QA and go over the product and ensure they understood what the outcome needed to be when they were testing. They used Miro a lot for reference and ensuring our product did what it was supposed to do.

  • December 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly useful for mapping out the high-level system design of applications, which is vital for my work in software development. I really enjoy the collaboration feature that Miro offers, allowing my team and me to work together efficiently on software projects. The organization aspect of the boards is also fantastic, as it provides a structured space to capture and organize my ideas effectively. Additionally, I appreciate how well the diagramming tools work, particularly in illustrating the relationships between different system components. I like the ability to place code blocks within the Miro board, as this adds another layer of functionality that's very useful. Finally, I found the initial setup of Miro to be very easy, which made starting with the platform a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the ability to place code blocks in the Miro board but find it lacking because the code cannot be executed or checked by an IDE or Linters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to map high-level system designs and collaborate with my team efficiently, organizing my ideas. It excels in diagramming system components.

Intuitive and Flexible Collaboration Platform

  • December 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro for its intuitive and flexible nature, which makes it incredibly easy to work on various requirements. The platform is designed with minimal learning curve, allowing new users to adapt quickly via its drag-and-drop functionality and easy-to-use templates. I appreciate how Miro supports a wide range of use cases, from table-like structures to detailed swimlanes, without being rigid. Its ease of use is particularly beneficial for collaborative brainstorming and planning, especially with distributed teams, as it facilitates creating clear flows, diagrams, and roadmaps effectively. The initial setup was also very straightforward, adding to its every-day usability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the restrictions on the number of boards even in my private account. When onboarding to an enterprise account, managing between the spaces there and my own is really tricky. Ideally, if I have an enterprise license, I should be allowed to create my own space for my private in-progress boards. The current limitations discourage me from putting my work-in-progress in the shared space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to overcome challenges with distributed teams, creating easy-to-understand flows and roadmaps. Its intuitive drag-and-drop interface and flexibility reduce the learning curve and adapt to various use cases.

Effortless Collaboration and Unmatched Efficiency

  • December 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro allows seamless simultaneous collaboration with no lag or delay, enabling us to work at maximum efficiency. Tools such as post-it notes and organizational layouts are incredibly valuable for keeping track of time management, attached files, and relevant tasks. These features made our work process smooth by allowing each team member to identify their contributions easily. The ability to share work, leave notes, and track progress in a common space across diverse disciplines was a significant benefit. Miro effectively replaced chaotic communication through endless emails and texts, centralizing everything in one place, which was essential for managing such a large college project. The transition to Miro from other tools like Canva was straightforward. The setup was super easy; a lecturer introduced Miro to our team, and we were fully functional within an hour. This ease of use substantially enhanced our overall experience, ensuring that we could focus on our projects without getting bogged down in technical difficulties.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Miro could definitely improve by adding more organizational layouts and folders for the boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro centralizes our team’s work, allowing interdisciplinary collaboration, easy note-taking, and efficient information sharing, improving our workflow without communication delays.

Love it! Please add interactions and more flexible text formatting within shapes.

  • December 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is user-friendly, and I enjoy the post-it notes and visualization features. I also enjoy the ability to have frames and create presentations, and to have viewers "follow" others as they move through the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate if dynamic interactions could be added to shapes, so that when someone clicks on something, another shape/page/feature would appear with more information. (This is a feature with Lucidchart, though is a bit cumbersome to use, so having a simpler process than theirs to create interactions would be awesome.) I also wish that the text within shapes allowed for different formatting types; for instance, it'd be nice to be able to center a title and then have text underneath that's aligned or listed as bullet points. At the moment I have to use the same alignment throughout the text in the shape, and I make dashes to denote lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides organization to help structure our thinking. It also serves as a fantastic collaborative brainstorming tool.
