Enhances Communication and Collaboration Across Teams

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro enhances communication by enabling both the host and the participants to visualize ideas and collaborate effectively. The tool supports the use of images, videos, and models, allowing team members to fill them in real time. This makes it particularly useful for company-wide strategy sessions, including retrospectives, brainstorming, mind maps, competitor analysis, and proposition canvases. It serves as a digital replacement for traditional whiteboards with post-its, facilitating seamless idea visualization. I also appreciate its value in working with our international management teams from various locations. The features I use and value the most include post-its, dot voting, and the timer, which significantly enhance productivity and efficiency during meetings. Setting up Miro was very easy, as I could easily adapt a board style I used in the past to fit our brand. Overall, I am really happy with this tool as it provides a robust platform for enhancing team collaboration across diverse locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any negative remarks besides that if you don't lock the board, people will accidentally mess up a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro replaces physical whiteboards with digital ease, empowering us to visualize and collaborate in real-time across global teams, enhancing our communication and engagement during strategy sessions.

Effortless Collaboration with Versatile Whiteboard

  • December 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for its unparalleled freedom on the whiteboard, which allows me to express ideas as naturally as writing on paper without any constraints, making it ideal for team retros, ideation, brainstorming sessions, and creating initial prototypes before transitioning to other tools like Figma. The variety of tools available empowers me to digitalize my thoughts effortlessly, enhancing collaboration significantly in remote setups by allowing seamless sharing. Miro's extensive range of templates is incredibly beneficial, helping me get started on projects quickly and efficiently. The ease of the initial setup is also impressive, allowing immediate collaboration, making it perfect for both novice and experienced users. The integration capability with other applications, like Notion, adds to its functionality by providing a unified workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sharing individual pieces of a board is hard. I have to use frames for that purpose, but they can't be nested, which limits flexibility. Additionally, I haven't found the presentation mode useful for sharing sections of the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for remote collaboration, ideation, and prototyping, enjoying its paper-like freedom and variety of tools. It digitizes my thoughts easily, allowing quick sharing. While setup is easy, sharing pieces of a board needs improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive Miro is; it offers a user-friendly experience that doesn't quickly feel like a notepad. The icons are very self-explanatory, and the shortcuts are logical. This ensures smooth navigation through the platform, which is useful because many design tools use the same navigation. Moreover, the initial setup of Miro was very easy, especially because we are digitally savvy. The software provides me with an efficient way to visualize plans and design processes, which I greatly appreciate. My overall experience is very positive, and that's also why I give Miro a high recommendation score of 9 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grouping and scaling elements and text in Miro could be improved. Using stickies is often the easiest because they scale easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for planning and design processes, where it helps to visually represent complex problems. It is intuitive, the shortcuts are logical, and it uses navigation that is familiar from other design tools.
