Seamless Collaboration with Powerful Embeds and Everyday Ease

  • September 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use (seamless, everyday ease)

Embedded features (Power BI, Smartsheet, videos, code, etc.)

Collaboration & sharing (with visitors, cloud-based simplicity)
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed some performance issues when working with large boards. Additionally, the license structure could be clearer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is solving the challenge of centralizing and sharing information in a highly visual and interactive way. By allowing me to easily embed videos, Smartsheet dashboards, Power BI reports, and even application code or frames, it eliminates the need to jump between multiple tools. This makes collaboration smoother and ensures all stakeholders can access the same information in one place.

Because it’s a cloud-based application, implementation was simple and I can access it from anywhere without IT complexity. The ability to share boards with visitors makes collaboration effortless, even with external partners. Using Miro every day has boosted my productivity, and the embedded features make it much easier to present complex data in a clear, engaging way.

I love collaborating seamlessly with my team using Miro

  • September 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how intuitive Miro is for team collaboration. The infinite canvas makes it easy to brainstorm ideas, map workflows, and capture discussions in a way that feels visual and engaging. I also like that it integrates smoothly with tools we already use, which reduces context switching. It’s especially helpful in remote meetings, where everyone can contribute in real time and stay aligned. The templates are also a big time-saver when starting new projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, Miro can feel a bit overwhelming because of the wide range of features available on the board. I’m not sure if Miro provides structured onboarding or detailed intro guides, but I personally jumped right in and started using it without much guidance. While it’s flexible enough to figure things out along the way, having more accessible tutorials or in-product guidance for beginners would make the first experience smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes it much easier to collaborate visually when working remotely. Instead of trying to explain complex ideas over calls or long documents, I can map out thoughts, workflows, and priorities on a shared board that everyone can see and contribute to in real time. It helps the team stay aligned, reduces miscommunication, and makes brainstorming more interactive and productive. For me, it has been really valuable especially as the team is spread across different locations.

Best Visual Collaboration Tool We've Found So Far

  • September 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The real-time, visual nature is our most important feature. Additionally, using comments as task items that are tracked and discussed throughout a project or scope of work gives us an integrated approach, enabling everything to be handled in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our main frustration has been the limited attention to improving certain core features or long-standing bugs that users have been waiting on. That said, it's understandable—Miro is expanding and changing so quickly that this may be a side effect. Simple issues like printing to PDF with frames being present, or being able to "resolve" comments on touchscreen devices, are basic fixes I hope Miro will address soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time design (architecture) and task management featyres that makes it easy to have everyone within the team on the same page.

Best usability in the business

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers a wealth of features, enabling me to handle everything from wireframing and capturing requirements to facilitating brainstorming sessions. The user interface is highly intuitive, making it easy to become productive without the need for extensive training. It is easy to implement Miro in our business, and when we have issues we usually get a quick response from the client success team. Although we do not use any automations or integrations it has a fair number available should we want them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Docs functionality has some 'quirks' that I am sure will be ironed out at some point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for a number of different things. It allows me to create professional looking diagrams for use in e.g. customer presentations or internal design workshops. It also allows me to work though process discussions with the team, capturing input from everybody.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the range of templates, and I find the UX very intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience, the sharing permissions and the various options for group access can be quite confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me to develop a training and consultancy package for my clients that we can come back to session after session. We can work together very collaboratively, and save our outputs for future sessions and discussions.

    Information Technology and Services

One of my favourite pieces of software

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an excellent tool for collaboration and brainstorming. It offers a huge variety of templates, diagrams, and integrations that make it versatile for almost any use case. I especially love using it with my team during brainstorming sessions and product ceremonies, it keeps everyone engaged and aligned. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, quick to set up, and packed with features that make working together seamless. Miro has truly become one of my go-to tools in my day-to-day work!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many downsides! Mainly that guest access is limited so anyone you want to collaborate with usually has to sign up for an account, which can create friction if you’re just trying to run a quick brainstorming session.
While the abundance of features is great, it can feel a bit overwhelming for first-time users!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the challenge of running effective brainstorming sessions and product ceremonies with distributed teams. Instead of juggling multiple tools, we can bring ideas, diagrams, and workflows together in one place. It keeps collaboration seamless, speeds up setup, and makes it easy to align everyone visually. The result is more productive sessions, clearer communication, and faster decision-making. It's a great tool for remote teams.

Best platform for Business - IT collaboration

  • September 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an intuitive and easy-to-use solution that supports the software development process from the early business ideation stage through architectural and solution planning, all the way to delivery. I find it amazing how seamlessly a team can collaborate on the same board and iterate together toward a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function feels somewhat hidden, and I think it would be beneficial to have a search feature that can locate diagrams or drawings even when they don't contain text, simply by using a description of the object.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a common platform for creating diagrams and mapping application screens to IT solutions or interfaces. It helps visualize how different parts of an application connect and interact, making it easier to plan and communicate system designs.

Easy to use collaboration tool that helps team members better define problems and goals.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Timed sessions for team members to create sticky notes for ideation, and card grouping.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost too many tools, it can get confusing, and some team members use different "widgets" than others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workshopping helps us to first define business goals, collaborate as a team, ideate, refine and determine final outcomes.

Miro has been the cornerstone for every brainstorming session I have with my team.

  • September 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is great at creating visuals for my market research, especially after the AI integerations. I simply have to drag and drop my findings and it just magically align things on its own making my work a lot easier to implement. The ability to share the same board in real time with my team is also really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Miro but yeah they surely can work towards more mobile native experience if not fully then just to view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's much better than using sheets to create content calendars, mindmaps of my market research and brainstorming, all at one place.

Best option for engaging online workshops and trainings

  • September 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
After having tried several other Infinite Canvas Boards I have finally chosen Miro, because it supports my approach of engaging online workshops. With helpful functions such as layers (perfect to explain complex processes), Private Mode (helps participants to focus on their own opinions) – and of course the AI tools, Miro helps me facilitate workshops that are equal to in-room workshops. The feedback from participants shows this every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The wide range of functions can make it a bit challenging for beginners to fully grasp all the available features. Additionally, I’ve noticed that some of my larger boards, which contain a lot of content, can still become somewhat sluggish at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for online trainings to explain complex processes. Also for online coachings it is helpful to have an easy-to-use board that I can sketch on as I would on a flip-chart.
