Great tool for planning projects quickly
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive it is to drag and drop elements, create diagrams, and connect ideas. I used it to map out a project workflow with my friends, adding notes, sticky notes, and links in real time. It felt like we were all working on the same whiteboard even though we were in different cities
What do you dislike about the product?
Boards can have lots of elements can get a bit slow, and it can be overwhelming if too many people are editing at once. Also, the free version has limits on the number of boards, which can be restrictive for larger projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the way I organize ideas and collaborate with others remotely. Before, I had to rely on messy documents or long email threads, which made it hard to keep track of everything. Now I can map out workflows, brainstorm with sticky notes, and see everyone’s contributions in real time. It saves me time, reduces confusion, and makes group projects much easier and more visual
Amazing tool for graphic designers & art directors
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent for photography and graphic design production and review internally and externally. The collaborative design, unlimited art board and commenting features are integral to our process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Importing editable, linked spreadsheets is not as functional as just linking to an external file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a singular location for viewing, commenting and updating our creative assets be it photography, design templates, brand standards or competitor advertising..
Great Software for Team Collaboration and Creativity
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Miro is how easy of a platform it is to create virtually anything. From high level project overviews, to process maps, Miro makes it easy to design whatever idea you have in your mind and create a visual for it on their Miro board.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite things about Miro are the following: 1. Sometimes when I am process mapping and using the designated shapes, when I go to create the next box and type in it, the font size randomly changes to a large font (obviously a glitch). This is pretty annoying and takes time to go in and change font size to fix. I enjoy using Miro for the most part, but it's these glitches that make me frustrated with the product at times since they're annoying, trivial things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us find inefficiencies and bottlenecks in our clients process flows via mapping.
Review for Miro
What do you like best about the product?
The sections and sticky notes are the features I use most often. They are extremely helpful for organizing and separating the data I’ve researched. I also make use of the templates feature, which lets me quickly access templates created by others. This makes handling data even more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once I tried to export content from Miro to Figjam and the process wasn't too nice. However it was my first time and I haven't tried it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helping my design process become easier. The presentation feature also helps as it removes the need for me to separately make a presentation for others to see.
I love Miro!
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility. There are so many tools. I love the infinite canvas, I love that I can add multiple frames, I love that they add new features that make my boards easier to use and more delightful for my participants.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features could use refinement in their development. However, I have seen improvements in some of the features that we've identified needing refinement which is really nice to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote work collaboration. Without Miro, I think we'd have a really tough time collaborating with our teammates and clients virtually. It is the perfect tool to pull up and work together on, whether that's through a polished board experience or just a place to brain dump and think out loud togeother.
Great Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy and intuitive to use. Good mark-up capabilities. The frames are very useful for keeping everything organised. The "follow user" function is useful for collaboration calls, meaning that screen-sharing is not necessary and everyone can collaborate and draw directly in Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
Boards get easily clogged and laggy. Some native markup types contribute to lagginess. If the board cannot handle the flexibility it offers, there should be frameworks in place to keep it lean and usable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helpful for keeping record of collaboration sketches/markups and real-time ideation. Where previously markups were temporary over a screen-share, they are now recorded in the board.
Using Miro for retrospectives and to visualize other meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Miro provides a wide range of visual objects to choose from, allowing you to design a custom meeting board where several people can interact with each other and use the board at the same time. There are also many other useful features, such as the ability to hide certain content, add your own materials—not just text, but also pictures—and easily import content from Excel files, like tables. Additionally, there are ready-to use templates available, which are helpful if you’re out of ideas, want to save time, or need some inspiration. I use it every time for retrospective meetings for the Scrum teams' what happens bi weekly and sometimes some other meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started using Miro, it didn't feel very user-friendly to me. I definitely needed some time to get accustomed to navigating the Miro boards. However, after working with Miro for over three years now, I can hardly remember that this was ever an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a great way to visualize meetings, allowing everyone to collaborate and making the sessions more engaging and enjoyable. It also helps keep all the information organized in one central location.
Effortless Collaboration for Remote Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to set up Miro, especially with the templates they provide. It's incredibly useful for contributing and brainstorming with my remote team. So the collaboration features stand out, as well as the tools at my disposal which help me do my job: creating clear site maps and IA, creating content maps, and much more!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a fan of how my pages are displayed. I have a hard time navigating between the various pages I work on, it's not super intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to collaborate and brainstorm with my remote team, which enhances our content and UX work. Its ease of use and templates facilitate efficient content mapping, site maps creation, and using charts.
The best way to think virtually
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a bit thinking through mapping things out kind of person. I like to use a notebook and pen, and miro is perfect both for bringing my notebook to life online and sharing it with colleagues, and mapping things out directly online. It's equally as useful for teamworking and individual working. And it's great because you can have all parts of your project on different parts of the board. I also like how they're constantly introducing new things to make it better.
I never have any issue sharing the boards to colleagues, it's easy to integrate into workflows.
I never have any issue sharing the boards to colleagues, it's easy to integrate into workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think sometimes things on the board can be a bit tedious to navigate. Even with a mouse. And also, it would be great if they had more templates - though, I know their library is ever expanding. And as it does expand, some easier way to find a useful template for you :)
Also maybe incorporating ctrl C + V for transferring images on miro to another document (like canva, or powerpoint).
