Digital Playground for Service Designers and Futurists
What do you like best about the product?
As a Service Designer and Futures Studies practitioner, my work revolves around synthesizing complex information, facilitating collaborative sense-making, and visualizing strategic outcomes. Miro has transitioned from being a useful tool to an indispensable part of my workflow across all these domains.
I use Miro daily for a wide array of tasks: mapping customer journeys and service blueprints, conducting speculative design and futures workshops (both remote and in-person), structuring strategic initiatives, and running dynamic ideation sessions.
The facilitation tools (timer, voting, "bring everyone to me") are robust. They make remote workshops feel engaging and productive, breaking down the barriers of distance. Even for in-person sessions, projecting Miro allows everyone to follow along and contribute digitally, which is great for capturing ideas in real time.
The pre-built templates for journey maps, blueprints, business model canvases, and speculative design frameworks (like scenario planning) are a massive time-saver and help standardize methodologies across teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
On rare occasions, boards that have become incredibly dense with objects and frames can experience slight lag. This is only a inconvenience on massive, months-long project boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Miro, insights from research, workshop sticky notes, and strategic diagrams were scattered across different platforms (email, PowerPoint, physical whiteboards). Miro solves this by providing a single source of truth. All our research, ideas, and frameworks live in one dynamic, visual space. This benefits me by eliminating version control issues and ensuring everyone is always aligned on the latest thinking.
Traditional remote meetings (especially strategic ones) can be passive and ineffective. Miro solves this by making collaboration active and participatory. Instead of just talking, my team and clients are building the journey map or co-creating the blueprint together in real-time. The benefit is dramatically higher engagement, richer insights, and a stronger sense of shared ownership over the outcomes.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is the best tool for visualising & Collaborating. I particularly love the extensive library of ready to use template.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback is related to exporting & complex documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helping me translate the complex requirements into easy to read material for stakeholder to understand
I've tried alternatives but have found Miro to be the most easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It makes it easy to record and organise my thoughts and findings visually. It has been adding more features, such as tables and Kanban boards, which have been useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. If I have to nitpick then I wish the kanban board has more functionality within it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Make it easy for me to map out workflows and organise my thoughts visually through post in notes or mind mapping. It also makes it easy to share ideas visually.
Perfect tool for collaborating with your remote coworkers
What do you like best about the product?
It feels like being in a meeting room where everyone has unlimited space to share their ideas. What I particularly appreciate is that we can leave everything there - there’s no need to tidy up the meeting room once we’re done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think we need more stickers (it helps to organize data in a fun way, and easier to highlight things), but aside from that, everything is working perfectly on my MacBook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Research synthesis has always been my go-to tool, especially when combined with AI. Using Miro alongside AI really enhances the process.

The Perfect Whiteboard for Workshops and Brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
I prototyped our new portal in a single session in Miro. Everything snaps into place and is ready to share. For brainstorms, we collaborate online with sticky notes for rapid ideation, then quickly cluster and vote with no context switching.
What do you dislike about the product?
Per seat pricing gets pricey when we bring in quarterly stakeholders or a freelance designer. Someone who only needs to comment twice a month still needs a full seat, and a simple pay as you go guest pass would solve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro turns messy sessions into clear next steps. I run remote workshops and brainstorms, capture notes, cluster, vote, and assign owners with dates on one board. I also sketch mockups with screen frames and the Wireframe Library, collect comments in context, and share a single source of truth that speeds decisions.

I really appreciate how intuitive and versatile Miro is. Collaborating in real time is straightforward, and the templates help save a significant amount of time. The visual layout makes it much easier to organize and communicate complex ideas with the team. I also find it very accessible, whether I'm brainstorming, planning, or facilitating workshops.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the boards can seem somewhat heavy when filled with a large amount of content, which tends to slow down loading times. Additionally, the sheer number of features can feel overwhelming initially, and it takes some time for new users to become completely comfortable with the platform.

Miro greatly simplifies remote collaboration by providing a shared visual workspace where we can brainstorm and plan together. It helps keep the team aligned, saves valuable time, and clarifies even the most complex ideas.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Miro is how it enables real-time collaboration on an infinite canvas. As a Product Manager, I can bring designers, engineers, and business stakeholders together in one space—whether for brainstorming, customer journey mapping, or sprint planning. The flexibility of templates combined with interactive features like sticky notes, voting, and timers makes workshops highly engaging and productive, even in remote or hybrid setups.

There is nothing, I dislike. I love everything in Miro. It is a power-packed application.

Sometimes, large boards can get a bit overwhelming or take time to load, especially with heavy content. While not a major blocker, smoother performance for very complex boards would make the experience even better.

As a Business Analyst, Miro helps me bring cross-functional teams together to visualize requirements, create process flows, and align stakeholders quickly.
