Effortless Visualization and Planning Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for planning, strategy, and visualizing things. I like that it's easy to use, which means I don't need to do a lot of research into how it works and can just jump straight in. The big open board is great because I can put whatever I want in there, make it look however I want, and easily change things. Having multiple related projects on the same board without jumping from one board to another is super convenient. I really like the templates because they make it easy to accomplish something without starting from scratch, giving me a great start to a project when I'm not sure how to get started. The initial setup was very easy, which is one of the things I liked most about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I use the free version only having 3 boards feels limiting, but I understand why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro lets me create visual explanations, like calendars and org charts, helping me understand visually. The ease of use and open board mean I can manage multiple projects without jumping between boards, and templates help start projects when I'm unsure how to begin.
Incredible Collaboration with Versatile Tools

I really like the collaboration that Miro offers and the whiteboard, where I can be creative. I also appreciate the ready-to-use templates, which make the process easier, as well as the paid tools that further aid collaboration. The initial setup of Miro was very easy for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some basic features, for example, are paid, such as data and image export.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for efficient collaboration with visual tools and ready-made templates. I like the whiteboard that allows for creativity and the paid tools that enhance collaboration.
Effortless Team Collaboration and Streamlined Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is how easy it makes collaboration across teams. The real-time editing, visual clarity, and huge range of templates allow us to quickly turn ideas into structured workflows. It’s especially helpful for planning, mapping processes, and facilitating workshops because everything stays in one shared space. Miro makes complex discussions simple and keeps everyone aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside of Miro is that large boards can sometimes become slow or heavy to load, especially when collaborating with many people. Organizing and navigating big boards can also get overwhelming without strict structure. Additionally, some advanced features feel hidden or require extra steps to access. Improving performance and simplifying the interface for complex boards would make the experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of bringing teams together around complex ideas. Instead of using separate tools for diagramming, whiteboarding, and collaboration, everything happens in one shared visual space. This helps us map processes clearly, align on decisions faster, and avoid miscommunication. It’s especially beneficial when working with distributed teams because everyone can contribute in real time, making workshops, planning sessions, and problem-solving far more efficient

Easy Setup with Collaborative Simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro because there is a free tier and it's easy to use. It's simple to create new items, move them around, and assign items to users. I also find it convenient that multiple users can visit the board at the same time. The initial setup was very easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the list of items in the done lane gets too long to be workable. Sometimes I don't understand how the counts at the top of the swimlanes are computed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro makes it easy to create tasks, move them between lists, and assign them to users, streamlining my to-do list management.
Versatile Collaboration with Easy Onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can drop custom images and examples from legacy products into Miro, annotate them, and make additional notes and flows all in one place. It's great for collaboration between software engineers and research scientists since it allows for quick visualization mockups, user requirements, and kanban board progress all in one place. The initial setup was very easy, and the learning and onboarding process was very clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be more obvious how to assign users to Kanban board tasks. Having a button directly on the Kanban task for user assignment would be more efficient than having to click through options to find the assignee feature. Also, the integration with GitHub could be streamlined with a 'link to code' button for explicit code line callouts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows for quick visualization mockups, user requirements, and Kanban board progress all in one place. I like that I can drop custom images, examples from legacy products, annotate them, and make notes and flows seamlessly.
Intuitive and Essential for Academic Planning
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Miro for planning university assignments, revisions, essay planning, and making job applications. It allows me to collate everything in one place, making it easy to find things rapidly and become more efficient with my work. I particularly enjoy the ability to move things easily, add arrows, and draw on my notes, which helps me quickly put together boards and link my ideas easily. The setup was very easy, with an intuitive interface, and I was able to set up my student account without any hassle. I find Miro easier to navigate and more user-friendly compared to OneNote. It's been so helpful that I've recommended it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have longer textboxes that can go further across the screen.

Miro centralizes my planning and notes, making me more efficient. I can easily move elements, add arrows, and draw, which helps me link ideas and draw connections quickly.

This tool helps me organize, visualize, and collaborate in the way I enjoy most.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing feels somewhat expensive compared to other options.

Intuitive Interface, Perfect for Planning
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly smooth and easy to access, which makes it perfect for beginners. Its smooth interface allows me to focus on the actual work instead of figuring out how the tool functions since everything is accessible and intuitive. I appreciate the clean layout, easy drag-and-drop tool, and smooth navigation. Everything is clearly organized. The signup process is straightforward, and Miro immediately guides you with clear prompts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the AI part lacking. I'd like it to offer more examples and be more flexible with answers and chat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for planning, which helps with structure and provides a good view with its smooth, intuitive interface.
Effortless Collaboration, Rich Templates
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to showcase steps involved in initial product development like journey mapping and user story mapping. It helps me make the product's feature journey map visually clear to the whole team, especially the product owners. I love being able to look for different templates and collaborate with team members. It's really helpful for working with multiple team members, especially when everyone is remote. The availability of templates means I don't need to spend time building or thinking about a template from scratch. It's easy to work with teams, even with non-design folks, as Miro doesn't require everyone to have a seat like FigJam. The initial setup was very easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it not very intuitive where to find the functionality to easily export a frame as a PNG in Miro. It would be ideal if it matched the placement of Figma since that's what most people are used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to clearly showcase the product's journey to the team and easily collaborate remotely using templates, saving time on setup.
