A Creative Game-Changer with Incredible Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate Miro's versatility and creative capabilities. Having used it for the past three or four years, its usability in my studies and creative tasks is profound. Miro just makes sense as my go-to tool. I love how easy it was from the start, right from its initial installation, everything just fell into place smoothly. It’s integral for my studies because of the diagrams and free space it offers, which are superior to what Excel and other Microsoft applications provide. These features enable me to perform functions that other platforms couldn’t accommodate. The freedom Miro provides to do virtually anything within its space is exhilarating and has been crucial for my tasks. It's a tool that I've grown to depend on and use frequently, seamlessly aiding my creative projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limitation with the tables feature in Miro. Specifically, I cannot connect tables in real-time across different boards, like my friend's board. Currently, when I add a linked table, I have to click on it to view the data, but I would prefer to see it in real-time without needing to click each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to create diagrams essential for my studies, overcoming limitations of other software like Excel, and facilitates creativity with its flexible free space.
Fast, Collaborative, and Feature-Rich. Best in class, but UI Feels a Bit Cluttered now
What do you like best about the product?
Speed of the app, flawless concurrent edits, ease of use and multiple templates. Best in class right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
Earlier versions were simpler, UI is now a bit too cluttered, but I understand that it's a result of multiple integrations and additional features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
one of the most important tools for remote work, where people can work on the same thing at the same time. Brainstorming, retro sessions, architecture diagrams, customer journeys - it's all easy!
Best-in-Class Collaborative Whiteboarding with Constantly Evolving Features
What do you like best about the product?
collaborative whiteboarding is a like a super power and Miro is best in class tool that continues to add useful features at an impressive pace
What do you dislike about the product?
It's great when your team all has licenses but is a little hit-and-miss when trying to share/collaborate with people outside your organisation. It's understandable as it's their business but it would be nice if it was clearer how to this worked and exactly what the limitations are
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning, brainstorming and documenting as-is and to-be processes
Excellent for Real-Time Collaboration, But Team Management Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very easy to use, especially when compared to other platforms such as FigJam, ClickUp, or Microsoft. Working together as a team feels much smoother, as collaboration is both easier and more efficient. It truly allows for active, real-time collaboration, rather than just passive participation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to use slides in real-life situations, even though they have a lot of potential for presentations. The recent rule changes are confusing, and now boards have suddenly become inaccessible. Managing teams, projects, and spaces is also quite challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We all work remotely, so having this real time collaboration aspect is a must.
Even though it is a bit on the pricier end - the whole life history of the work is on miro now.
Even though it is a bit on the pricier end - the whole life history of the work is on miro now.
A Lifeline for Remote Collaboration, With Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for five years and enjoy its wide range of tools, which offers more functionalities than competing platforms like Figjam. The ease of creating presentations on Miro saves me hours compared to using PowerPoint or similar tools. I appreciate Miro’s capability to transform text into post-its easily, which simplifies organizing information visually. Additionally, as I work for a remote company, I find Miro’s live collaboration features particularly beneficial. We can collaborate asynchronously on the same Miro board and centralize all the necessary information in one place, allowing us to have a clear overview and facilitate discussions. This makes Miro indispensable, especially in a product and design context, where showing, discussing, and sharing ideas are essential. I also love how Miro enhances productivity through its visual tools, making it an essential part of any tech company’s toolkit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that Miro does not support calculations. When I try to import tables with numbers, they become useless as I cannot perform any calculations on them. As a product manager, I often use matrices or frameworks for prioritization models that require calculations, which Miro doesn't support. This limitation impacts my workflow by preventing me from fully utilizing Miro for all my tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for collaboration in remote work, presenting, and organizing information efficiently. It saves me hours due to its easy visualization and text-to-post-it feature, enhancing team communication and project visibility.
Great for Diagrams, But UI Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
easy to draw diagrams, lots of shapes and images and easy to import
What do you dislike about the product?
UI could be slicker, some bits are unintuitive like arrows
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating data architectures through drawing has been my focus. I find that visualizing these structures helps clarify complex relationships and makes it easier to communicate ideas with others.
Convenient and Visually Appealing, But Free Version Lacks Tools
What do you like best about the product?
It is convenient to use, with appealing graphics and a wide variety of templates to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps the main drawback is the limited number of tools available with the free account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Share your ideas and collaborate with colleagues to develop a common vision together.
Game-Changer for Collaborative Team Workshops
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro's real-time collaboration capabilities, which allow teams to work together simultaneously on the same board, regardless of their location. This has been transformative for me, especially when dealing with distributed teams. The integration of AI features, such as grouping and sorting Post-it notes, enhances the brainstorming process and makes organizing ideas significantly easier. These features have been particularly beneficial in running efficient workshops and brainstorming sessions, serving as a game-changer for my workflow. I also find the templates incredibly useful, as they facilitate the structuring of projects and processes. Miro's flexibility stands out, as it adjusts effectively to various work styles and needs, and I find its usability impressive. The platform is very easy to set up, enabling a seamless onboarding process with no friction. Its ability to work with other tools like Figma while providing dedicated design spaces makes it versatile for different departments, which is why many in my organization prefer Miro over Figma for tasks outside detailed design work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Miro, while highly flexible, lacks control over how content is presented. Additionally, the drawing or sketching features are difficult to use with a mouse, which can result in janky outputs. I believe having AI assistance to smooth out the drawing lines could significantly enhance the experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro's real-time capabilities vital for collaboration across remote teams, allowing simultaneous work on the same board. Its AI features simplify tasks like grouping post-it notes, which has been transformative for me.
Intuitive and Versatile, But Large Boards Can Lag
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about MIRO is its intuitive design. All the controls and options are straightforward and easy to grasp, so using the platform doesn't take much effort. Additionally, its adaptability and cross-platform sharing capabilities make it even more convenient. The wide variety of extensions available is truly the cherry on top.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback I’ve noticed with Miro is that when working on large boards filled with a lot of content and data, the platform tends to lag and sometimes buffers, especially if there are too many images and links. If it were possible to cache the entire board, I think the experience could be much smoother. Other than that, this is really the only issue I’ve encountered while using Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, the main advantage of MIRO is the easy access it provides to an infinite whiteboard. I can use it from anywhere and on any device, which is very convenient. I have tried using Figma for similar purposes, but I didn't find it as reliable or as easy to use, especially on smaller screens.
Real-Time Collaboration Across Time Zones Boosts Team Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to collaborate effectively with team members across various time zones and offices. Working together in real time allows us to brainstorm and develop ideas more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to pay if you want to use multiple boards. With the free plan, you need to restart the board each time, and you can't lock or unlock boards to change access permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time collaboration has made a big difference for us. Previously, we had to set up each idea separately, but now we can work together much more easily.
