Great all-around tool for visual collaboration and client work
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive and easy to use Miro is. It makes collaboration feel seamless, whether it’s brainstorming, building workflows, or mapping out complex processes. The customization options are great, allowing you to create and adapt boards for a wide range of purposes, from quick mind maps to detailed process documentation. It’s one of those tools that makes teamwork genuinely more productive and enjoyable. Miro helps me bring structure and clarity to complex projects, both internally and with clients. I use it to build mindmaps, workflows, and process maps that make it easy for teams to visualize how everything connects. Because a big part of my work involves presenting solutions and walking customers through proposed designs, Miro makes that process pretty easy. I can quickly turn ideas into something visual and collaborative. It’s especially useful for planning across departments or client accounts, where I can share boards, gather feedback in real time, and refine solutions on the spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the import options were more flexible. It’d be great to bring in external data, like CSVs or spreadsheets, in order to automatically build mindmaps or process maps instead of having to recreate everything manually. I’ve also noticed that once boards get large or have a lot of collaborators, performance can slow down a bit. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does make working on complex project boards more of a handoff rather than a real-time collab. Overall, these aren’t huge issues, but they’d make an already great tool even more powerful and efficient to use day to day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to define and improve client processes, and it’s become one of my go to tools for visual collaboration. A lot of my work involves mapping out CRM designs, building customer journey flows, and creating or refining data models. Before Miro, keeping everything aligned across different teams and clients was a task of its own. Diagrams and brain dumps would live in separate files/drives, and feedback loops dragged on forever. With this tool, I can pull everything into a single board, walk clients through proposed solutions in real time, and make changes on the spot. It’s so much easier for everyone.
Effortless Collaboration and Instant Mark-Ups for Architects
What do you like best about the product?
As architects, our work relies on a lot of graphics and visual imagery. I like being able to collaborate with team members without searching through folders for the right image or file, and being able to share mark-ups right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be easier if annotation tools were more like other software in our workflow (i.e., Bluebeam Revu or Adobe) so that it'd be less confusing switching back and forth between programs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is proving helpful for internal team meetings during programming and early design stages.
Easy and useful visualizations, but the zoom can be confusing
What do you like best about the product?
I find it very easy to create different visualizations. It is possible to add slides, figures, or even post-its, which makes it especially useful for brainstorming sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not convinced by the zoom in and zoom out function, as being practically unlimited, I find it difficult to determine the size I want. Additionally, it's very easy to lose sight of important elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is considerably easier and more intuitive to use than PowerPoint and other tools for creating visualizations.
Visual Process Creation Makes Complex Ideas Simple
What do you like best about the product?
the ability to create processes and explain things in a visual way
What do you dislike about the product?
that there´s no much functionalities when not subscribed to the best plan
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
explaining difficult process in a visual way and working as source of thruth
Great Collaboration and Tools, But User Management Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The ability for users to collaborate as visitors and subscribers is our most important criteria.
Variety of connections and tools
Project management features, such as assignments, tagging, deadlines, etc.
Variety of templates
Most of the features are intuitive for everyone

What do you dislike about the product?
Managing users is tedious. (To access boards, visitors are always confused and request to join our organization's paid subscription rather than collaborate as visitors, even after we've given them directions.)
The calendar template options are very difficult to follow. It is hard to zoom out (sometimes impossible), making it difficult to track a yearlong calendar.
We'd love to have the ability to share parts of a board with users and keep other parts inaccessible/unviewable. When we bring in outside vendors to review our criteria, we love using Miro but having to create individual boards for their tasks, when it all falls under one project, makes it difficult to keep track of who is looking at what.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our global team to collaborate quickly and easily, both with internal employees and external partners
We are able to build out planning documentation that creates clean and clear visuals directing the goals, objectives and deliverables of our projects
We are able to better brainstorm ideas and have an easier place to manage, edit and follow-up on them (in comparison, we have teams who still use physical white boards they have to photograph and then recreate or forget about because they aren't living documents)
We were able to hone in and find our problems and opportunities thanks to the ability to create a visualization of the current landscape and our goals. The ability to add links, spreadsheets, images, and other documents as reference materials has been critical. And this all works within the confines of our security team whereas sharing several files in folders was never feasible.
We built our entire website visual in miro and increased the efficiency of planning on a long, robust project.
I wish we could have multiple boards visual in one web tab! We reference our planning timeline and our content calendar together, but because of the templates, they are in different boards requiring us to have more tabs open to switch between.

Great for Visual Documentation, Needs Better PDF Export
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, lots of visual widget allowing me to cover a lot of documentation creation
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish a easier way to export in pdf. Often the best quality settings do nothing, maybe because it's too big to process but not message is displayed to explain why it's not working
Need more feature on boarding/explication
Need more feature on boarding/explication
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy collaborative tool with lots of visual support. Help a lot as a centralized tool for meeting
Great Collaboration and Intuitive Design, But Pricey and Limited Access
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborative work and pretty intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive. And not many people could access to it whenever I want it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you work accross departments and in Tech sometimes it's difficult to explain processes and concepts, diagramming makes it easier for everyone to understand as most people are visual learners.
Collaborative brainstorming tool
What do you like best about the product?
Useful for brain dumps and collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation
What do you dislike about the product?
Bit of a steep learning curve to learn how to use Miro. Feel like there's loads of features I still don't know exist. Training sessions would be really useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping us conduct post-it note and whiteboarding sessions in a hybrid work environment
Exceptional Features and Usability, Minor Navigation Quirks
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the ease of use and the features that are above and beyond a typical whiteboard experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to move around the board (left click vs right-hold-click).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it serves our teams to collaborate and brainstorm on ideas, designs, feedback, and all the sorts of communal comminications that help a team stay focused.
Great Visual Collaboration, But Free Plan Is Limited.
