Intuitive Visualization for Teams, but Needs More Templates and Export Options
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me to easily visualize my thought process to explain complex relationships and connections between different topics by enabling easy to edit tools. Its very intuitive to use and simple boxes make it easy. Also colour coding items makes it a breeze. We use it weekly with our team to explore and refine ideas. Even my colleagoes who have never used Miro before have gotten the hang of it after showing my ideas on the Miro board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the visualization part is too large and in focus. I wish there was more templates and settings so one wouldnt need to reinvent the wheel every time. Its hard to convert the input to excel data aswell, as this would enable us to export relationship maps etc, in a table format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Decluttering my brain and helping me sketch out my ideas digitally. Helps me to get my ideas across and put ideas into reality.
A Powerful Collaboration Tool for Creative Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it incredibly easy to collaborate visually with team members, no matter where they are. The interface is intuitive, the templates are well-designed, and real-time collaboration feels smooth and responsive. I especially like how it integrates with tools like Slack, Jira, and Google Drive, which keeps our workflow efficient. It’s perfect for brainstorming sessions, project mapping, and agile planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is that it can become a bit slow when working on very large boards with many elements. Also, the pricing can be high for smaller teams or startups, and some advanced features are locked behind premium plans. However, these issues don’t outweigh the overall usefulness of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the challenge of remote collaboration and visual communication. Before using it, brainstorming and planning sessions were difficult to organize online. Now, everything—from mind maps to project timelines—can be done in one shared space. It has eliminated the need for endless meetings and static slides, making teamwork faster, clearer, and more creative.

The user friendly interface its the better part for me, basically its super instinctive to use

A little bit more control on free accounts, like being able to delete boards from other users

Providing clarity for the processes within the company, as well as outlining automation flows and mapping data, has been valuable. This has helped to better understand and organize how tasks are managed and automated.

As a student in Interactive Media Management, Miro has been a game-changer for both academic and client-facing projects. My classmates and I use it to brainstorm ideas visually and collaboratively — even when we're working remotely. The intuitive interface makes it easy to organize thoughts, map out workflows, and iterate quickly.

Some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which may be limiting for students or small teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to onboard new users. Intuitive UI. Versatile use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's getting more and more features that are not so obvious in use. Too much focus on AI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small consultancy. We use Miro for all of our processes — from designing a new program to project management to documentation. Miro is a very visual tool, and it helps us handle complex projects.
User-Friendly Interface Makes Diagramming Easy, Minor Drawback Noted
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciated the user-friendly interface and the brief learning curve I experienced before creating my first diagram exactly as I envisioned it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside for me was the number of additional features that require separate payment. It feels as though there are so many extra options to consider in daily use, which can be overwhelming and make it harder to concentrate on using Canva itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a tool to diagram our workflows and marketing funnel ina visual way, and after trying with edraw, came to miro and got it done in a jiffy. I wanted to have the flow diagramed and be able to link it directly to resources online. It also allows me to have different assets in the same canva, simplifying enormously the concentration of key data with different styles and forms.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an incredibly versatile tool that I use for multiple purposes in my role as a Project Manager, providing highly useful features for my daily activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, internet availability may cause disconnections or difficulty viewing large flows, but this is more a network limitation than an issue with the tool itself.

Miro has significantly improved communication between the Project Management, Development, and Client teams by providing a unified board where everyone can collaborate and contribute in real time.

It is intuitive and has many possibilities for creation. I really like the templates and how practical they are to use, as well as to customize.

Honestly, nothing, I like it a lot and I haven't found anything yet that "I don't like."

I find Miro incredibly user-friendly, especially compared to other diagramming tools I've used in the past. Its intuitive design and aesthetically pleasing interface result in more professional and appropriate outputs for work settings. The setup process was seamless, thanks to its intuitive nature, which is beneficial given my artistic background. I appreciate how Miro serves as a comprehensive tool, seamlessly filling gaps in our digital workflow by connecting project management, planning, and other tasks. I predominantly use it for diagramming due to its flexibility in creating visual representations, which I find fluid and adaptable. The collaborative features are a great secondary use that aligns with what I initially learned with the platform. Moreover, the free tier's ability to manage multiple boards effectively without getting locked out is particularly beneficial for personal projects, offering continuous accessibility and adaptability for new tasks. Miro plays a crucial role in improving data visualization for projects, garnering positive feedback from colleagues and clients, which makes me eager to recommend it. Its complementary usage alongside project management tools like Microsoft Planner or GitHub enhances our overall project execution. The ability to transform boards into read-only versions during project development is invaluable. My frequent usage and recommendation of Miro stem from the positive impact it has had on improving data visualizations and project outputs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that exporting into different formats can be cumbersome and a bit unintuitive. I've tried exporting spreadsheets and other outputs from my diagrams, and the process isn't smooth. It requires a lot of data cleaning after export, which is time-consuming. It would be helpful if the data preparation for export was improved to make the end product more usable.

I use Miro as a versatile gap filler, connecting project management with planning and supplementing other tools. It enhances digital workflows, offering intuitive, flexible diagramming and professional visuals, significantly improving team collaboration and project communication.
Collaboration Made Fun and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the emphasis on collaboration and ease of use! Miro makes it super easy to share access to boards both internally and externally while making interaction fun through the use of stick notes. As part of my responsibilities, I am use Miro every single week and it's always been intuitive and my team is able to integrate it in team building activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I think Miro is a great platform, one suggestions I have is if different users can contribute to the same sticky note. Although, I hope this is a setting we can toggle on and off through the board settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy collaboration for group activities in a virtual space, especially when it comes to our group interview process where we are evaluating hundreds of candidates.
