Using Miro as an on-line training tool can help support engagement.
What do you like best about the product?
Wonderful tool for online training for both the presenter and the participant. Ability to collaborate in real time. Can share the screen on Zoom and/or have participants go to the board directly. Two trainers can also collaborate in developing the content. Seems like a short learning curve for participants to use. Hint: have them do something Miro before they start the training (i.e. introduce themselves) to get used to the locations of the various features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a challenge to find yourself and your work if you are not the Miro host/owner. Using the right mouse key to paramount but the board can be so large with a bigger group that it's hard to find things. Using the "come to me" feature can help gather everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Student or trainee engagement online - Miro helps to get everyone on board using a common tool.
Streamlined Order Processing with Intuitive UI
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro easy and satisfying to use. The zoom function is particularly nice because it zooms into where my mouse is, which is better than similar features I've used, like in Google Earth or Google Maps. The user interface itself is easy to use and accessible. I also like the ability to drag boxes and have them lock in place symmetrically aligned with each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mouse doesn't always allow me to drag the page from side to side
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro organizes complex order criteria into a clear chart, helping me navigate issues and streamline processing. The interface is easy and enjoyable, with precise zoom and alignment features enhancing usability.
Intuitive UI, Perfect for Group Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro's user interface because it's super intuitive and easy to use. It's snappy, with lots of elements that make it versatile. The UI makes creating and showcasing processes and documentation easy for both me and my team. It also lowers the barrier to entry for new team members to contribute to sessions. Setting up Miro was very easy, as it was ready to go upon access!
What do you dislike about the product?
Scaling and sizes of frames could be improved. I often find boards being strange sizes and scalability looks weird. I'd like scaling tools on the axis of a screen, or more structured ways to create boards in proportional sizes that work across different resolutions and sizes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for capturing and collaborating on ideas with my team. The intuitive UI makes process creation easy and lowers the entry barrier for new members to contribute.
Collaborative and Intuitive for Team Diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for planning out diagrams for IT processes and I like that it helps everyone on the team collaborate in a visual way. I like that it has live collaboration and support for smart boards, which is really beneficial. In meetings, I can edit and see more of my Miro boards on the smart board while presenting. The initial setup was fairly simple, and I had no major complaints.
What do you dislike about the product?
From an IT Admin perspective, account deprovisioning is very limited and there's no way to remove someone's license via the SCIM or admin API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to help the team collaborate visually when planning IT process diagrams. I like the live collaboration and smart board support, which makes meetings more interactive by editing and displaying boards in real-time.

Seamless Real-Time Collaboration with Flexible Canvas Solutions
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for collaborative brainstorming and visual planning. It supports real-time collaboration so naturally, letting multiple people jump into the same board to share ideas and iterate instantly, making discussions much more productive than with static docs or slides. The flexible canvas is another highlight, allowing me to start with rough sketches or sticky notes and evolve them into detailed system diagrams or workflows without losing continuity. I appreciate the rich template library and smooth integrations with tools like Jira and Confluence, which help me go from ideas to execution without friction. Miro also brilliantly solves collaboration and clarity issues, especially when working remotely or with cross-functional teams, by providing a shared visual space that enhances alignment and reduces miscommunication. The initial setup was easy, with team members able to start using it right away, thanks to intuitive features and ready-made templates that mitigate the learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area where Miro could improve is performance on very large boards. When boards become heavy with many objects, images, or long histories, they can feel a bit sluggish, especially during real-time collaboration. Another challenge is organization and governance at scale. With many boards and contributors, it can be harder to enforce structure, naming conventions, or access controls without additional discipline from the team. Lastly, while the feature set is rich, advanced features can feel overwhelming for new users. A more guided onboarding or simpler modes for beginners would make it easier for teams to adopt Miro quickly and use it effectively from day one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves collaboration and clarity issues in remote and cross-functional teams, turning scattered documents into a shared visual space. It structures complex ideas, reduces miscommunication, speeds up decision-making, and keeps teams aligned throughout projects.
Versatile Virtual Whiteboard for Teaching
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for writing on the whiteboard math problems and it's very useful. I really like the many different ways that you can write and show examples. Everything is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had an occasion or two where it froze and wouldn't go at all, but I think that was the computer's fault, not Miro's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for writing math problems on the whiteboard. It's very useful, and I like the many different ways to write and show examples.

Intuitive and Efficient, But Needs Better Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for general workflow diagramming and documentation, and it is an easy tool to map out processes compared to others I have access to. Much of the controls are fairly intuitive. I like the connectivity between different views and being able to quickly add elements to the diagram. Although I haven't tried them yet, the features such as voting and timers seem useful. The initial setup of Miro was very easy, which was great since it is all net new usage in our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like Miro's overall organization. There needs to be better folders for documents in the different spaces, as it shouldn't be limited to one tier. Also, being able to tag elements with multiple tags and then filter by them would be helpful, especially for large workflow diagrams. It would also be useful to have a feature that automatically formats diagrams cleanly. After creating connections, there should be a button to make it as legible as possible. I spent over a day cleaning up a document and moving lines around when that could easily be a feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes mapping out processes pretty easy with intuitive controls compared to other tools.
Effortless Brainstorming and Organization in One Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how freeform it is, allowing me to use it as a space for jotting down thoughts or as a brain dump/map whenever I need. What I find especially useful is how it can take that initial chaos and smoothly transform it into something organized and easy to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the sheer number of options and different ways to use the mapping can feel a bit overwhelming. This also is probably at least 50% user issue however!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My role requires me to design new processes often. Miro makes it simple to have my "scratch paper" & final formalized process diagram in one place. The visuals also make it easy for me to share these processes with my team who may not have all of the information.
