PrinterLogic has been an excellent solution for our needs
What do you like best about the product?
PrinterLogic has solved many of the issues we were having with on-prem print servers in our environment. Deploying new printers is a breeze. Updating configs is intuitive. Excellent support when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some hiccups with deploying new features, but the support team has been responsive and excellent to deal with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many issues we were having with on-prem print servers have been solved with PrinterLogic. Print spoolers needing to be restarted, deployment of printers via GPO failing, managing printer configurations on a per-printer basis and pushing out those changes to all users, etc etc.
Amazing Product for IT Departments
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use for deployment of new printers and client computers. Maintaining existing printers is easily done now so we can focus on more security centrinc items. PL also ties in well with Microsoft Intune!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many downsides. From an IT perspective, it is an amazing platform. For end users the only thing we have heard of is remote printing but we are rarely asked about that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deployment and maintain of printers and client computers.
Support for SNMP v3 issues is poor
What do you like best about the product?
Having all printer information in one place and ease of deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been using PrinterLogic for almost a year now. During that time there have been 1 complete SNMP v3 and one partial SNMPP v3 outage totalling over 4 months. This impacts setting up of new devices (features don't come thru) and monitoring of printer issues.
The map feature needs improvement; getting a floor plan to display correctly should not be trial and error and some way to annotate printers would be great.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maps and printer deployment by ip range reduces support calls by new users and visitors.
We are able to reduce (virtual) print servers giving resources back to host server.

PrinterLogic changes the game
What do you like best about the product?
Mutliple things: ease of use on the admin side, and giving the end-users the ability to add & remove pritners as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be slow to update the IP address when it is changed manually on the device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adding multiple printers one at a time is a slow and time-consuming process. PrinterLogic makes it easy to add printers on-demand (for the end-user) and on the admin side being able to push printers out to devices is a time-saver for all involved.
PrinterLogic took our business printer network management systems to the next level!
What do you like best about the product?
- The ability to manage printer drivers online and have them automatically deployed to all users.
- On demand user reporting tool for print jobs made within the company
- Customer support is always quick to assist with questions and ideas!

What do you dislike about the product?
You will need to manually refresh the print client to get new printers right away but this is easily managed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PrinterLogic is capturing all print jobs made within the company and allowing our business to deploy new printers with ease, having the drivers pushed to all users automatically.
Praise for PrinterLogic
What do you like best about the product?
PrinterLogic has been a useful tool to help reduce the amount of work adding printers to the numerous workstations we have. It allows you to set up the printer and driver in a central location. The user can then select the needed printer from a website and have it installed on their machine. All of this happens without any help from the IT department. This allows us to focus our time on other pressing issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The migration from On-Premise to Virtual Appliance was tough to roll out due to MS requirement of self signing PS Scripts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistent printer driver installation on all workstations for the same printer. This reduces the amount of support time needed for adding printers.
This is the best option to get rid of your print servers
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud based product that allows us to manage our company's printers without requiring on on-site print server or appliance of any kind. Their customer support has helped us with every problem we have had in quick and professional manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of my co-workers have told me that new printers take a little time before they appear in the cloud console.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We we tired of managing on on-prem print server. We always seemed to have issues with it. PrinterLogic removes the need for an on-prem print server. It handles everything from the cloud and you can assign printers to groups.
Saas Instance: Very good for direct printing but the integration with print servers is not great
What do you like best about the product?
1. The admin portal and the user interface are intuitive, well designed, easy to use.
2. The performance is quick, once you add a printer through the admin portal it is visible directly in the client.
3. The import and export tools are of a great help. I added my 150 printers into a csv file and was able to import them in just a few minutes. It's a real time saver.
I have been using it a lot over the last 2 weeks and I could just do the tasks I needed without trouble.

What do you dislike about the product?
The way PrinterLogic integrates with print servers is way from optimal.
For 2 reasons, when you add Windows Print Server Link to the portal, it will:
1. Deploy a PrinterLogic agent to the Windows print server with services running constantly. I don't want that.
2. The Windows print server needs contant connectivity to the PrinterLogic cloud. My company block internet access for servers so that doesn't work.
Customer support is based in the US, so the responses follow the US hours, not Europe.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently use an in-house built printer deployment tool.
It's pretty old and we were looking for a replacement.
We came accross PrinterLogic and it does exactly what we need.
Currently we deploy printer drivers to the computer via SCCM.
PrinterLogic has this functionnality, so we are very likely to use it for that too.
