Vasion Print, formerly PrinterLogic, is a solution that completely eliminates the need for print servers, delivers centralized print management, and empowers end users to install printers on their own with a single click.
Vasion pioneered digital transformation in the print management space by delivering a highly available, serverless printing infrastructure designed to help IT professionals eliminate print servers. The company focus evolved into creating a cloud-native solution while still maintaining centralized management to eliminate infrastructure and ease common print burdens on IT teams, including managing front- and back-end printing, unifying workflows and legacy systems, and automating document routing and conversions while maintaining data security.
This expansion served the new mission of the company: making digital transformation attainable for everyone. With that greater scope in mind, PrinterLogic rebranded to Vasion. Organizations can now take on the next stage of their digital transformation with Vasion Automate. On this expanded SaaS platform, IT teams can intelligently capture data from physical documents, build custom forms, automate digital workflows, collect signatures, and meet compliance standards, all with the robust security and control of enterprise document management.

Incredibly Easy Printer Deployment That Eliminated Our Printer Tickets

What do you like best about the product?
Incredible ease of use for deployment. I manage 170 printers and deployment is second nature. Printer tickets dropped to esentially zero from moving away from traditional print servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting leaves a lot to be desired. I have to build a custom SNMP application to get detailed reporting on things that should be built into printer logic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Printer mapping and deployment on non-persistent VDI. I will fight anyone who tries to make me leave printerlogic.

What do you like best about the product?
PrinterLogic has saved countless hours installing and updating drivers.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you need to set up a one-off driver to handle a specific special project, either you use a license to set up the modified driver, or have to set the driver up manually on a PC. This downside is more circumstantial, and not really a fault of PrinterLogic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PrinterLogic saves hundreds of hours of our time to install and upgrade our printer drivers.

Ease of use for administrators and end users. Cost effect and very easy to integrate new devices. Lightens work load of tech dept and is reliable. Support provided is remarkable and timely.

Cost increase with today's tightened budget.

End users can connect to printers on their own saving tech support time to assist other staff members. Inventory of printers in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to install printers, prevent users from accessing other printers, and the flexibility of PrinterLogic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process of installing the agent on Mac and Windows devices could be smoother. I wish you offered a bundled option that would generate an installation package for both Mac and Windows with our authorization code already included, so we don’t have to create it manually ourselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PrinterLogic solved our problem of having to maintain a print server and everything that comes with it. Now our printers are easier and quicker to install.
