SalesLoft Integration has been tough
What do you like best about the product?
- I enjoy the cadences with SalesLoft. We get the ability to make sure that each lead is being contacted through email and phone with certain steps. Another great aspect is that you can separate team cadences with personal cadences. You have the ability to check out other team members cadences to see which ones have good responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
-Since we have marketing resources for our leads to look at it, on the lead page on SalesLoft I do not have the availability to see what the lead did on our site. I personally think there are too many steps in the process. I work out of salesforce, and personally do not use salesloft too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-My primary job is to make sure enough demos are booked. With SalesLoft, it is supposed to streamline the process of booking demos. With salesloft, you are getting emails out on a cadence and can reach people at different stages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really look at your internal system before making the decision. It can be helpful you dont have any CRM system, but I find myself using salesforce more than being on the salesloft page.

Not a Salesloft user anymore
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you understand exactly what you and your team is going to use it for, and agree upon it before you make the purchase. We thought that we would use it for straight-up outbound cold calling, but it is a more valuable tool for following-up on marketing events and tradeshows where we have a specific campaign and necessary conversion rate to hit.
Good Tool, a Few Too Many Steps for Simple Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to keep notes in the platform together with the recorded calls all in one profile. I can then easily follow up with an email through the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the need to import leads individually from salesforce and that there is a redirect to the system from salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have a dialer and email tool all in one place. We realized that this will allow us to have more accurate reports of calls and emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't mind a redirect from Salesforce and a few extra clicks to call, its not so bad.

It's a functional dialer / cadence builder. It has a modern enough interface

The salesforce integration is not the best. Feels like a redundant system

It's our dialer / email cadence builder. Has allowed us to better track dials/email activity
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Shop around. It's fine but I wish we had switched to Hubspot CRM because our entire marketing machine is built around Hubspot and we have a much deeper integration into Salesforce w/ HS than SL

Thought it was an efffective platform where I can build, analyze, track my leads, outreach and success of going after my prospects.

Sometimes I have to manually edit phone numbers, names and that takes time.

Explore the functionalities and learn the cadence that best suits you

What do you like best about the product?
Complete hand-holding throughout onboarding process. Was very pleased with timeliness of responses and ease of use of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really not much I don't like about this platform. This is not a marketing tool so not designed for emailing 1000's of people. For personalized outreach there is no better tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of a communication system I can be confident in. Easy to import contacts and make sure outreach is happening on schedule. Great to be able to see who is engaging with my emails and when, so I know when to reach out.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to ask lots of questions while evaluating- you will see that Salesloft has a number of very useful product functionalities and they are innovators in the sales development space. Great to see a product team that isn't slowing down.

The way the templates and steps are set and it's easy to add new prospects to cadence.
Was very good as an individual rep, but now that I'm running the software as SDR manager there are massive improvements to be made.
Team Template rollout without Team Cadences seems premature.
Automation rules are finicky and there isn't an easy way to copy across reps at a team.

lack of detailed reporting. better analytics would be greatly appreciated.
Lack of Team Cadences, no easy way to copy automation rules, and the way things have to be manually brought into Salesloft instead of using a Bidirectional SFDC sync to show all accounts/contacts is halfbaked.

Be patient.
Map out the team cadence first, build templates accordingly, and roll out all at once - it's a headache once you want to make any changes.

Constantly improving their core offering of email management.

There are often bugs that take several days to fix.

What do you like best about the product?
Creating a cadence for a specific target audience, A/B testing messaging & subject lines, & adding/removing contacts from the cadence is incredibly easy to do. Keeps my team on task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface isn't the most intuitive. The side pop-up and pop-ups to send emails are cumbersome and can quickly take up the screen. Not a huge pain point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since our AEs are "full-stack", it can be difficult to juggle prospecting, outreach, demos, follow-ups, contracts, etc. Salesloft makes sure we don't forget about our top of funnel activities.
