Good, could be better
What do you like best about the product?
Email functionality. Integration within Salesforce. Ability to create and track cadences. Sleek interface and intuitive ease of use. Ability to listen in on calls using the dialer. Analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dialer, while great in theory is sorely lacking. Not scalable for a growing organization. Too many issues and difficult to use as our main telephony system. Would love a desktop application and especially a mobile application. When clients are calling, it's forwarded to our device without knowing who is calling. Also, it doesn't register on the dialer that there is a missed call so it's difficult to differentiate a personal/work call. Also, 0 texting functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email tracking, Call tracking, and Sales Engagement. Ability to reach many of our customers with great content at scale.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't use Salesloft as your main dialer. Not even sure why they have it as an option. Ask them to build a desktop application.
Great tool for high volume outreach!
What do you like best about the product?
I love having the ability to customize each email so easily, while also keeping the structure that's so great within a cadence. I also like the new feature where you can choose each step of a cadence when you put contacts into them. It makes it much easier to customize outreach as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that there seems to be many bugs with the platform. It's also difficult to put contacts in variants past the first step of any cadence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is able to get out a high volume of emails to our prospects without it looking like spam. It's great to be able to customize as we go!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend SalesLoft! It's a great for reaching a high volume of customized outreach, and it has been easy to roll out to our large team.
Very Robust Outbound Sales Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Our team uses cadences regularly due to the large number of leads we have. Our product is always updating so it's amazing to be able to blast out a specific update to a specific group of prospects that need it. This results in quick wins very easily and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to it's complexity it's somewhat difficult to navigate. There's also no way to determine if a prospect has engaged with an email directly in gmail. You need to navigate through the salesloft portal to find out. Taking up precious time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Broad outreach to many prospects who are unfamiliar with the latest update in our technology stack
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dive in and learn as much of the nuances as possible from the beginning. Don't wait or you'll struggle to figure out where the product can fit in your daily activity.
Sales Loft makes my job 1000x easier
What do you like best about the product?
I am a huge fan of the email cadences, sales jobs I did in the past relied on cold calling and sending one off emails but now people need a few emails to take action, SL gives me the ability to come in each day and spend time customizing or interacting with clients. It's a lifesaver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that some of the notifications don't work all the time or don't track accurately. When you forward an email it continues to track read notifications too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In sales people reply to the 4th 5th 6th emails that in the past I was never able to send as the contact was forgotten after a few emails.
Awesome Sales Productivity Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can schedule emails to go out at certain times and track who I have emailed or talked to recently. You can build out separate cadences for groups of prospects and customers and make sure you are regularly staying in touch and following up.
What do you dislike about the product?
"Would you like to opt out?" link - but I believe this is optional. You either have to choose between not tracking opens from your IP Address or not being able to loft emails with internal people CC'ed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased productivity. Better customer engagement. As a sales rep, more time to spend on revenue generating activities. I love that I always know where I'm at with a customer in their buying journey - if I create new contacts, I can just add them into the pre-existing cadence.
high on usability and completeness
What do you like best about the product?
We run our inside sales team on Saleloft. It's easy to set up standard team cadences everyone can use, and people can make their own. The dialer functionality is solid. Used to be flaky but better now. As a manager I like being able to listen in on any live calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
When they add new "features" they don't tell us and sometimes things break. It would be good to get notified a week before so we aren't scrambling and havings lots of unproductive hours when their system goes down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running inside sales team. It's automated, well integrated with SFDC.
Great Sales Development Tool!!
What do you like best about the product?
I like Salesloft because the platform makes it easy to send and schedule a lot of emails. It's very good for organization, especially in a sales development role where you are reaching out to several people. It connects right to LinkedIn and Salesloft to keep all of my data in one place. I don't use it much for calls, so I can't speak on that, but the email capabilities are good for the most part.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that I dislike about Salesloft. Sometimes Salesloft has different bugs where it is down, LinkedIn isn't properly connected, etc. The Customer Success team is usually very helpful in these cases though.
Probably the biggest thing that I dislike is that Salesloft notifies me that a prospect opened up my email when I open it in my sent inbox. It is very confusing and not valid!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem that I'm solving is the difficulty of outreaching to a ton of prospects. The benefits that we've seen are organization of our outreach, different outreach strategies, the ability to correlate a prospect right to their LinkedIn page, etc. It's nice that they integrate with Salesforce to, so that everything is kept track of. I have not used it for calling but I'm sure that would solve another business need as well.
Good prospecting software, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The way I work, I need to have a list of things to do each day. SalesLoft makes it easy for me to have a list of prospecting calls to make so I can power through them. About 10 years ago I would shoot for making 12 calls per hour, but with Salesloft I'm able to hit above 20 calls per hour if all my data is clean, so I'm able to set aside 2 hours per day of prospecting at a minimum. I also love the email tracking so I can call a prospect as soon as they open an email, or I know when a question or an order is coming in because I see a lot of eyes on an email.
Lots of times the viewing reminders make me "proactively" reach out to a prospect that I may have forgotten about. This way I know I'm on the top of their mind as they're actively opening my emails.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could get a notification when a customer falls out of a cadence so I can set a reminder to put them back into one. Salesloft may offer this ability and my company may have it turned off. Otherwise, they're completely lost in limbo until I find them and put them in a new cadence. I could be wrong on that, but that's my experience. Also, I don't find Salesloft useful for reaching out to current clients, I view it more as a pure prospecting tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to increase my prospecting output by about double for calls and many many more times via email. Because of this I've touched many more prospects than I have in the past.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for prospecting, make sure you're ready to create cadences. Get input from your sales team to create useful cadences rather than a consulting company.
I am an MDR at a technology company
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I am able to keep all my emails in one location. Additionally, I don't have to worry about manually sending out emails as I am told when they are due. I also like how I can skip steps and edit cadences. I'm a big fan of sharing cadences with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have experienced freezes with SalesLoft as my typing is sometimes delayed. I also do not always get open notifications - they are oftentimes delayed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in sales, so sending out many emails at once is very important. If it weren't for SalesLoft, my workflow would be much slower and not as effective.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is very easy to use! If you are in sales I would 100% recommend. It's a huge time saver.
SalesLoft has dramatically improved by sales efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that cadences keep me organized and efficient throughout my day. Also, the activity layout makes it easy to see previous attempts to reach a prospect and shows how many opens, clicks, etc via email.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were better ways to access and import contacts from DiscoverOrg. SalesLoft excels at helping me contact prospects to set up demos. I feel like it could be more useful at actually helping me find the prospects as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were solving lack of outbound activity and activity in general. Googling and setting up your own "cadences" isn't efficient and SalesLoft changed that. Outbound activity across the board for our entire team has improved greatly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep on doing what you're doing!
