Great Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it keeps me on top of my tasks, and it's amazing at tracking our relationships with different clients and prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The rocket on the side should let me arrange calls, no matter the cadence, all in one tab for timezone, not only inside the cadence.. It's a pain to keep track of 10 cadences and their timezones all at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solved the problem that salesforce is bad, i can't keep track of 50 people a day, having that laid out for me is integral to my organization
Good for what it is
What do you like best about the product?
Great for pushing a high volume of emails, I like the AI suggesting content for a more curated approach
What do you dislike about the product?
Email open tracking is pretty basic, lots of bloat in their API calls. Lack of proactive training has led me to only using SL about 5% of the day max.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Half of our BDR team has been fired due to lack of performance so it remains to be seen if we're getting the return from SL that we expected.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wouldn't recommend for selling to the enterprise where a complex sale is involved and requires other approaches to generate meetings

Automation is key it makes life really easy and quick.

Calls drop sometimes when they go over 5 minutes.

SalesLoft for SDR success
What do you like best about the product?
I love how SalesLoft gives me team analytics to see how my team is pacing and what the most successful times to call are. It also makes it very easy to A/B test features and different email teamplates to see what works and what needs improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing of note - however it would be nice if Meeting Intelligence was included with the contract and not an additional charge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outbound workflow, cadence management, mass customization, power dialing, local dialing, SDR efficiency, call coaching

Make sure to take advantage of their training and implementation - it can be overwhelming at first for newer users.

Time management and mail merge strategies for volume.

Do your due diligence. Don't let the quickness of SL make you go into "autopilot" mode.

I really like how easy it is to see what tasks I have due that day as well as a digestible way to see what emails have been opened

I wish there was a cleaner way to highlight people who have opened emails a number of times - making sure they are getting more attention

We are using this to make sure our outreach strategy is succinct, consistent, and not time-consuming. This allows us as sellers to focus on deals while also moving things along in the pipeline

Since I've been using the local dialer my call connects have gone up drastically improving my overall performance

I'd love to see when an email is forwarded who that email is going to.

Made our sales process more efficient in multiple ways
What do you like best about the product?
(1) helping structure and map out our sales calls,
(2) allowed us to be more conversational during the sales process...the efficiency of taking notes, our sales team can pay more attention to the prospect, spending their time listening and engaging more with the conversation versus figuring out what questions we ask next.

What do you dislike about the product?
Wanting Costello to pull fields directly from HubSpot versus having to match exactly form for form. Although I think thats coming as a feature soon!

Read my review, but if you are looking to make your sales process more efficient and repeatable. You need to use playbooks to run your sales process, Costello is the best option out there.
A Reasonably Solid email sequencer with great Linkedin support
What do you like best about the product?
It works. I would say that it's relatively good to use and gets the job done. I'm not sure about pricing but from what I've heard it is pretty affordable. It's like a honda civic - gets you from point a to point b with some pretty convenient features but no extravagant ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be a bit more flexibility when creating your cadences...
For example, if you want two variations of a second email, I wish you could designate which variant your prospect goes to rather than random AB test.
