Why Outreach is the Better Choice

  • April 24, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
SalesLoft Dial works very well although my colleagues notice it occasionally recording only one side of a conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not intuitive compared to Outreach, integrations not as seamless, collaboration is not as good as Outreach and, most of all, Outreach Customer Success is much better, much faster, and focused on specifically answering each question while SalesLoft bombards you with tons of collateral and how-to's that you have to sift through. As an example, one cannot pause a Cadence in SalesLoft, a pretty fundamental step that Outreach has long featured when one needs to "put on the brakes," while saving an effective cadence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating more net-new leads and opportunities. I've received definite benefits with SalesLoft, but will get a much better ROI with Outreach, which I've used before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look at Outreach as well and ensure you have a good understanding of the specific features, functionality, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT you receive from each vendor. If you choose based on price, you're making a mistake.

Essential tool for sales professionals

  • April 24, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Integration with SFDC has enabled me to drastically speed up my workflow as Loft's GUI is much more intuitive & user friendly

- Cadences (I build my own 90% of the time) enabling intelligent & personalised automated emails as part of a campaign.

- CSV Import function
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really fault SalesLoft at all. My only observation is that there are sometimes some glitches/bugs which cause crashes but these are infrequent and for the most part non disruptive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Productivity Gains

- Increased answer rate (analytics led calling)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it.

    Outsourcing/Offshoring

Easy to use & very efficient sales platform

  • April 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it's an organized and easy to use platform that makes cold calling and emailing much faster and easier and more efficient for engaging with prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would ask for it to add a "sort by timezone" filter in the "people" section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's more time efficient than calling off of lists. It also helps you reach your goals with the automated sales tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Love their cadence feature and its functionality
What do you dislike about the product?
Only issue is with the calling. It sometimes takes 5-8 seconds to connect a call which could be because of the phone system my company uses
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting

What do you like best about the product?
Very User Friendly, not as buggy/quirky as other systems we have tested out in the past. Reliable system to make dialing/emailing easier and more organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a little more control over steps in cadences, removing folks from cadences etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
much more organized approach to following up with requests/not letting things slip through the cracks

Salesloft is a great tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to go through all of your calls at once, then send all your emails. It has streamlined my follow ups
What do you dislike about the product?
How you have to push everyone from SFDC. Calling through the computer and then people call back through your phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on top of tasks! Reaching the leads faster

Simply the Best ( but could still be better )

  • April 19, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the automated cadences, the ability to reschedule calls, be able to log in real time, know immediately when there's dupes, and so much automation! It's a sleek look with very good user-friendliness, and it's really easy to build out templates, implement new cadences, and it's much better than using Salesforce by itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't love is the fact that Loft doesn't recognize extensions, so that automatically messes up the click-to-call functionality. I have to either manually open up a new dialer box or just call from my desk phone. Also the information that was already stored in SF about each account isn't readily accessible on my personal view, so I have to open up a whole new window with Salesforce. I also wish the dupe finder were more robust and the search function would do partial spelling/misspelled
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesloft makes things much quicker in terms of assessing leads, qualifying , and takes much less time to log our activity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can afford it, do it! It's only going to keep getting better and it's pretty good right now

Account Executive

What do you like best about the product?
Click to dial, E-mail cadence and tacking. Campaigns analytics, power hour flows, accessibility of all the data.It takes Salesforce or any crm and makes the data more actionable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really the IP phone would be choppy but you can use any IP phone service now not just there's so that is a plus. Other than that they have really worked the kinks out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Be able to keep 1,000's of customers in campaigns in different stages along with e-mail blasts and rip campaigns. It makes your average sales person a one person marketing/sales machine.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is it other than Outreach they are a solid comparison but from a BDR and AE who have used other tools this one is the best!

Make Sales Processes Repeatable and Easy to Manage

  • April 17, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part has been discovering just how much Costello has thought through all aspects of Sales and provided ways to simplify as much as possible. I've been on a journey of discovery with Costello and I'm still on it! I started out loving the Deal View (which that alone is worth getting Costello for), then later I was ready to learn Playbooks. Just recently I started using the Resource Library (Objections, Competitors, etc.) and there's still more that I haven't begun to utilize that'll make our team even better.

First impression I got of Costello was the Deal View, which is awesome! Update Opportunities with 1 or 2 clicks vs 4 or 5. It's a huge time saver and it gets even better once you get used to how quickly you can update the Deals view. You'll never want to go in to an Opportunity or Opportunity report again!

The more I've used Costello the more I've fallen in love with the Playbooks. Stop needing to think about your process, what questions to ask, what information to capture and just put it in a Costello Playbook.

After I used Playbooks for a while, I was ready to incorporate the Resource Library (Objections, Competitors, Customer Stories, etc.). Have you ever been on a Sales call where an objection was raised and you suddenly either hear or come up with a response where you're like "man I need to remember that!"? Just add the response as an Objection in Costello and stop worrying about remembering!

Costello is the comprehensive tool/platform you need to make your Sales process repeatable and gain insights!
What do you dislike about the product?
This is personal preference but the Playbooks view is a little too spaced out for me. I still love the Playbooks but I'd enjoy a more compact view so I don't have to scroll through a large Playbook as much.

The ability to map questions/fields in Playbooks to Salesforce is amazing. Makes syncing data extremely convenient. The one annoyance is that if you have a picklist in Salesforce that you map in Costello, Costello can't automatically pull in the values from the picklist so you have to enter them in Costello and Salesforce and keep them in sync. Not a huge deal but it can be annoying when you're setting up your Playbooks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a brand new Sales team at Costello and it's been huge to have a Playbook that they can all follow to make calls more repeatable.

For me personally, it solves being able to log my activities and key in data from one pane of glass. When I'm on a call I use a Costello playbook to capture various data points like what segment the prospect is in, what technologies they're using, what customer case studies I reference, who the incumbent & competitor is, what questions to ask and capture responses to, etc. etc. etc.

Then the icing on the cake is when you have subsequent calls with that prospect and you pull in the same playbook template for the call you can see everything you captured previously. It's awesome!!!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fantastic for managing Salesforce Opportunities in 1/4th of the time.
Create repeatable Sales talk tracks and make it so much easier for your Sales team to capture information and follow your Sales process.
