How a small sales team w/o BDRs uses Salesloft

  • November 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We are a team of 5 AEs without a BDR team. Our primary use is to follow up with marketing leads in a more automated and tracked way. It was easy to implement and easy for the AE's to use in the most basic sense... click space ship, make calls. More advanced AEs use it to manage their own prospecting & follow up efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to copy & paste text into emails -- the formatting gets messed up. And sometimes the service has reliability issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency on marketing lead follow up, making sure leads don't fall through the cracks. As an individual contributor, I use it to organize my own prospecting tasks to ensure I'm following up at the right time.

Intuitive and Beneficial Platform

What do you like best about the product?
It's my 360 degree view of my prospects and keeps me organized and up to date. I've used outreach as well but find Salesloft to be superior. I am constantly finding new features that help make my life easier. It appears that they are putting real effort into continually improving the UX/UI as well. The integration with Salesforce is great. I don't have to do any double entry with keeping that up to date. They also have a good integration with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reorganizing cadences has been more difficult than I would have thought. Easy to make them from scratch or copying but changing the order was a pain. I I think the analytics could be stronger. They are pretty high level from a contributors point of view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding how my prospecting is going and where my messaging may or may not be resonating. I don't have to go to 3 separate systems to do my work. I can use Salesloft integrations to Salesforce and LinkedIn to do it all in one place and stay organized. I'm also more organized from a messaging perspective with the use of snippets and templates. I don't have to search through old emails for things. Finally the recordings of my meetings and calls have been beneficial. You don't have to take a bunch of notes in real time. You can focus on the call and listen back if needed as a reminder.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to understand and organize your sales cycles and messaging this is a great tool. It's easy to set up and does not require a any formal training really.

One of The Best

What do you like best about the product?
The cadencing format is quite excellent. The admin support is quite thorough, we very much enjoy being able to see the individual performances of each employee to a very granular level.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations with dynamics and hubspot are a bit lacking. For a long time we had to use Tray to get our Hubspot leads to talk to our separate CRM (Dynamics) while still allowing us to use the cadences on SalesLoft, so setting up that triple dip was tricky and time consuming. The connections between the three also frequently break or fail to kick in for certain contacts; so it takes quite a bit of babysitting. This might be as much the shortcomings of those software as much as SL, but I'm not the CRM manager so I couldn't say with certainty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Follow up on sales leads, this has kept our team organized and help us find opps. We've learned a lot about our assumptions of the best sales methods by looking at the performance of our campaigns, we've become more data driven as a result.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't neglect your performance metrics for cadences, particular email attainment.

Alecia's review

What do you like best about the product?
It makes calling a list much easier and faster - and it integrates well with Salesforce and Zoominfo.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it showed a history of campaigns - that's a minor issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not really solving problems - i use salesloft for cadences and analytics - it helps me improve my outreach activities -specifically how i interact with prospects and customers and what i need to do to achieve high percentage of connections.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
the email tracking component may need to be fixed - it shows emails read if the person clicks on the email but doesn't actually read it.

Salesloft increase my prospection efficency

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciated the automated cadences with multiple tasks to do : emails, calls, Linked invite etc. Those cadences enable me to engage more leads, to have more touchpoints than before. I appreciate the coordination between Salesforce and Salesloft. As a SD
What do you dislike about the product?
They is nothing I dislike but I would love to receive some templates or best pratices to build succesful cadences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Salesloft:
- I engage more leads than before (like 70% increase of it).
- I can handle more quickly my inbound leads after a marketing event.
- I can measure the impact of my engagments where I was blind before (who cliked, who opened the email, who visited my website), consequently I can focus my efforts with interested leads and not all of them.

Necessary tool for efficient and effective sales workflow

  • November 12, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Salesloft makes planning your day easy. Every morning, the first thing I do is log into Salesloft to see what is in my queue for the day. From there I can see that I have x calls, x emails or x LinkedIn steps to complete so I can see what prospecting I need to do.
- Salesloft makes completing those steps SO easy. You literally can click through a call, provide notes and sentiment, and then immediately move on to the next prospect on your list.
-Integrations with LinkedIn, Vidyard, etc. are easy and smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Connection can be spotty sometimes. It isn't too often but when your SL is down or slow it really impacts your flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Note-taking to keep the entire team and future team members on the same page.
- Cadence/Template creation allows for great collaboration with the team.
- Metrics on cadence and templates allows you to see what is working best and then implement it.
- Analytics on call/email outcome & being able to see against different team members is very useful.
- Great integration with Salesforce and GMail makes it super easy to use.
- Makes call reviews easy. Can always go back and hear every call recording for all of your calls made.
- Email Tracking so I know who/when someone has clicked/viewed my emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Build a suite of tools around SL. SL integrates with lots of other tools from CRM to Email to Video/Direct Mail providers. When all of those are in sync your team can really be efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
I used Salesloft at my previous company as well and I like that it is super intuitive and not overwhelming to work with.
Definitley streamlines your day, and helps you keep track of priorities of the day (hot leads) I also really appreicate the "reminders" feature
What do you dislike about the product?
there's not anything at this time that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to identify who is actually receiving, revewing my emails/and attachments. I'm aslo able to keep track of how many "touches" it takes to secure a meeting.

I love the new analytics feature where I can keep track of how well I'm doing within my team.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finally I can address a large audience with a professional mail campaign!
Also it enables me to forge dedicated, small campaigns.
And last but not least - you get a feedback about what is happening on the other side.

Not ready for big leagues.

What do you like best about the product?
Salesloft has a decent interface and is easy to configure as an individual. The sign in workflow is easy to use so that users can use their primary accounts to generate and send large amounts of emails. The workflows are very easy to understand.
Campaign management is also good. There are great tools to create, upload, target, and tweak email campaigns in the tool. There are even ways to manage how those campaigns are sent, but it's tough to manage from and admin level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Salesloft doesn't offer enterprise level setup or customisation. It also heavily relies on corporate SMTP servers rather than using distributed servers. This both limits the amount of mail that you can send per day per person, but also could cause the domain to see some real issues in email spam classification.
We don't want users to use their primary addresses or domain for outreach -- Salesloft seems to offer that functionality when it could be seen as dangerous from a brand/reputation standpoint. Instead, we wish Salesloft offered a way to protect from domain and IP RBLs affecting email campaigns and general deliverability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We realised that we needed a tool for sales outreach that didn't overload our users' accounts and hit their sending limits. We use Google Workspace and the number of emails sent by our outreach teams is too large, so we want them to use a tool to distribute the load.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research for you sending mechanisms. If your users are self-sufficient or you have a small team, this is grand. If you're looking for central sales management, look for something with a better enterprise outlook.

    Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

A tool for reps.

  • November 10, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Salesloft is a software made for reps. Meaning it is incredibly easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to be able to import accounts via SF.com report. We can only do contacts currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems: This is a 360 day change for our org. Not a SL problem. More a change management problem.

Reps are now calling with a purpose. Their day has purpose to it. We are moving faster and reaching more accounts than ever before.
