Great and powerful tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love the cadences and how I schedule my touchpoint and automate my flow. Analytics are also very handy
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a cadence is launched there is no way to pause it. Better double check before hitting that "send" button.
No option to "Boomerang" the emails that recipient have not opened! That would be a life changing feature, similar to "nudge" in Gmail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking my emails and see if contacts have opened or clicked. Automate client touchpoints
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool that quickly becomes essential to any organization that starts using it.

Steps towards efficiency

What do you like best about the product?
Some of the Benefits I've seen so far:
1.) We are able to personalize emails at scale. For example when we were using Hubspot it became difficult for us to edit some of our email templates before they were sent out.

2.) Data driven - I can see how SaleLoft is trying to break down the "sweet spot" for our prospecting. ie (Touches per account)
What do you dislike about the product?
The reports can sometimes be very misleading. My managers are having a hard time understanding the data that is coming through on the analytics page. Our company has been so used to how Hubspot runs reports and sometimes Salesloft's report can be somewhat confusing. We often have to use separate spreadsheets to report metrics to leadership which can sometimes be quite time consuming. It would be much easier for us to have the data broken up into graphs or piecharts instead of lists.

The managers has expressed that it can be difficult getting a hold of someone to run through the metrics with them so they can gain a better understanding of things such as the effectiveness score, avg. personalization, people added, etc...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team had a very big struggle with personalizing our emails at scale, so with SalesLoft we've been able to add in personalization through multiple steps in the cadences. It is also easier for us to gain more visibility into which cadences are gaining more traction among our peers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Salesloft provides a great user experience for prospecting and doing Account Management

Great product to scale your outbound sales team

What do you like best about the product?
It's an amazing productivity tool to make sure your reps never miss a beat. The data/analytics for a manager makes it easy to dive into where your reps need help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's buggy and features shut down for a day or two.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pipeline generation at scale. Reps are more productive in their efforts to contact prospects. Also being remote, SalesLoft allows me to see the amount of effort the reps are putting in each day.

Great Product with Minor Issues

What do you like best about the product?
SalesLoft allows salespeople to maximize their workflow and really make the most out of their days. I find the cadences and built-in features to be essential to my role. Working with SalesLoft has made me a more successful salesperson.
What do you dislike about the product?
SalesLoft LinkedIn integrations are faulty and every morning I have to go and unconnect my LinkedIn SalesNav before reconnecting it for it to function correctly. This only takes 2 minutes to fix (unconnecting and reconnecting) but is an annoying way to start the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Opimization of sales cadences is easy enough to do in theory. SalesLoft allows me to apply the optimized cadence into practice. Double-tap a prospect with a phone call then follow up email, you can do that with Zoom and Gmail. Double-tap 200 prospects with phone calls then a follow-up email, SalesLoft can help you do that.

What do you like best about the product?
Cadences makes the prospecting soo easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes whenever you add contacts in cadence they show up twice. Which double ups the daily steps, emails and text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using cadence and email templets that makes my life so easy. Specially the prospecting cycle. I don't have to make reminders or keep a track of my customers and their follow-ups. Once you add your contact in cadence sales loft keep a track of all the steps. No matter its emails or voicemails or calls. I simply love the Sales Loft.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want your processes to be efficient and streamlined SalesLoft is the best.

Controlling the Chaos in Salesloft

  • February 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Salesloft is being able to connect with all of my contacts, and no need to worry about losing accounts. If they're on a cadence, I will find them, and all of my notes are in one area, and I can refer to them during a sales call. I can send them template emails following the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike when I go into a cadence it takes me away from my current record when I could still be working on it, and not being able to log store emails on more than one contact. I would also like to be able to go to the next step in the current contact I just worked with while the ideas are still fresh in their mind, and not need to wait until later for the dealer to review the ideas and products discussed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I'm addressing: 1) Being able to keep track of all my customers in one area. 2) I can easily send out mass emails to my dealers and make sure they receive time sensitive materials during a show or limited time promotion without worrying they will see other email addresses listed. Benefit I'm seeing: 1) I can connect with customers in more ways than one, and not just phone and email, I also like being able to see their competitors and what they may have at their store. 2) I'm able to keep them on Salesloft while using my Zoom camera. A good number of dealers aren't totally sold on the idea of using everything through the computer all at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend using SalesLoft others, if they're looking to organize all of their contacts and make sure they can keep in touch to address business concerns. It's a good way to do it!

Cover more ground in less time

  • February 08, 2021

What do you like best about the product?
The abitlity to have a structured way to manage outreach to both prospects and customers. I can set up different types of messaging to different people and have it all flow through the system without having to manually look up each person to see what I did previously and what I should do on this next touch.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if it was integrated with my CRM -- hoping that our teams tackle that in the next few months. (We have our own CRM that competes with SFDC.)

Another thing that would be helpful is the ability to take a message that you've composed and to create a template from the message in that same view. (Rather than having to go over to templates/create template.)

There are a few areas of the platform where it would be helpful to be able to click on data and have it drill down further or take you to that screen. I've seen this improve over the past year and I'm assuming that this is an area where we will see additional advancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Able to utilize templates and cadences to be more organized in communication
- Able to see what's working with a specific target company or within a cadence to help determine the next best move
- Can cover more ground faster because it's not just a list of "to do" items - instead they are grouped together and presented in a way that allows you to focus on the client and their stage in the cadence.
- The current view "feed" helps me to be able to know if there's anyone that's actively engaging and where it makes sense to take immediate action
- Having the voice mail drops allows me to leave a consistent message that is consice and on point while moving onto the next call.
- Overall, I can increase my touches to prospects by 20-30% by using the platform features and functionality.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
SalesLoft is a fantastic platform to use for communication with clients, partners and prospects. Some of the best use cases that I've seen include communication for Success Teams, Partner Teams, and current customers. It's not JUST for prospecting.

Having said that, if you are using it for prospecting -- please keep in mind that it's best used for consistent contact with a targeted group of prospects. Setting up the system to send out hundreds of messages each day to hundreds of people just gives good sales teams a bad name.

Be relevant, be contextual, and be sincere in your approach.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use when it comes to tracking data in Salesforce. Being able to view data from SL in SF from a single pane of glass is the best! It also helps align messaging between marketing and sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dealing with multiple reps - customer success, renewal, AE, etc. A single point of contact would be nice. It’s annoying to get 7 emails from 3 different people constantly. One point of contact would help a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
filling the pipeline! benefits include ease of tracking data and helping reps stay organized and focused. Getting started is one of the hardest parts of selling. SL helps reps get started and stay on track. SL also helps stay consistent with messaging across our sales teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have all of the connections up and running between SL and salesforce. This is a big key to realizing all the benefits of SL
