Solving the problem of keeping track of prospecting activities, and scaling outreach.
Solid Sales Enablement Tool
What do you like best about the product?
As a sales enablement tool Salesloft has help use optimize our process from lead to trial to customer. I enjoy the user experience and the easy to navigate design and simplicity. It is nice to be able to figure out the features without needing to run through the help desk documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The billing team seems to have had some issues with accuracy and we've had to send multiple emails to get things resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is keeping consistent messaging and having a library of simple messaging that our team has access to with a few clicks.

Having discipline in your processes, and having your daily processes organized leads to achieving more and performing better. For this reason, you use SalesLoft.
When it comes to performance improvement, numbers matter, so one can spend reaching out to the targeted audience a week, and the one who uses SalesLoft - a few hours.
The software exists to make our lives easier, and this one does it very well.

Salesloft
What do you like best about the product?
-Takes the guess work out of follow timing and wording for reps.
-The widget in Salesforce allows the reps to use SalesLoft seamlessly during their inbound and outbound prospecting.
-Reporting allows us to understand which cadences and messaging are the most affective.

What do you dislike about the product?
Currently the Salesloft widget in Salesforce does not support Vidyard. On salesloft.com there is a great integration with Vidyard that allows my reps to attach video's to emails. However on the Salesloft widget on Salesforce this widget is missing. I have spoken with the Vidyard team about this, but have not gotten a timeline as to when my reps will be able to send videos directly from the Salesloftwidget in Salesforce.
Why does that matter, can't your reps just bounce back and fourth between the two tabs. No, first they are barely able to keep up with the volume of leads they are assigned. Secondly there is still resistance to video messages in general. Adding this extra step gives the detractors a reason no to adopt video prospecting.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Salesloft solves is getting reps to do timely, consistent, and varied follow up. Before Salesloft it was nearly impossible to enforce a prospecting process and there was no way to measure compliance and success.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Salesloft is best for organizations that want to make inbound and outbound sales follow up simple and consistent. You will need to build and refine your cadences if you want to get the most out of this platform.
Pretty decent for a CRM & Outreach service
What do you like best about the product?
Relatively easy to build cadences, automate actions, autofill fields and get an overview of a range of functions
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't edit cadences once started, difficult to update templates without changing the master template, terrible account categorization, and data upload, not great search function when populating cadences, tag system is off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auto-tag prospects to accounts has been a big issue, whenever I try to make a small edit to a template it changes the master tempalte. Can't remove the master template once added (except for when you copy-paste the text which removes the need for a template in the first place). The by far biggest issue is that the google extension interferes with my CRM extension from Copper (which is pretty useless) and makes my laptop nearly crash on a daily basis.
Ratios Up, Closing Up, Sales Up: SalesLoft Works
What do you like best about the product?
Salesloft's dashboard provides a great overview of your action items and relevant information. The system provides actionable analytics and offers a variety of touch points for your sales sequences to prospects and customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dialer hasn't been as helpful as I had hoped. Minor things like the inability to sort accounts and contacts by custom fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SalesLoft organizes my follow ups and touch points to prospects. We all know that it's not just how many times we contact a prospect but the sequencing and timing. SalesLoft helps you coordinate your actions for the highest impact possible.
Good product for capturing my Zoom conversations
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of using SalesLoft is the way it automatically logs my activities into salesforce and records my zoom conversations. There are dozens of other cool features that I think make SalesLoft a great product overall. Their user support has also been good to work with. :)
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm going to be fairly exhaustive in the issues I've had, not implying it's a bad product, just that there are some specific areas it could improve:
- Big picture: I use it in a customer success role and it does feel like it was more designed with sales in mind that CS. The cadences seem super powerful. I would like to start using them more.
- There should be a way to search your own team's recorded meetings "Conversations" by the email address of invitees. That displayed data is right there on the page for each meeting, but for some odd reason, they don't allow you to search for a meeting based on email address or name of attendee.
- It also can't record MS Teams meetings, which I'd like to be possible (that may be more Microsoft not playing nicely than anything, not sure).
- Gmail plugin: You can't insert a link for clients to self-schedule directly into an email when using the gmail plugin (you can insert specific times though and I LOVE that feature - just would like to be able to include a general schedule link like you can directly in the dashboard). The plugin is also a bit buggy. If I have a Gmail page restored from a prior chrome session, SalesLoft never loads until I reload the page. So I miss some conversations due to that bug. When you schedule an email for sending in Salesloft, it basically disappears according to gmail, and there's also no way to edit a scheduled email. You've got to start over from scratch if you want to tweak anything before the scheduled send time.
- The conversation intelligence. When I started trying to use it to review old meetings, I noticed that a) the transcription is not as good as I'd hoped (not as good as Zoom's own transcription, in my testing), b) it's actually quite a process to view the transcript of a meeting (have to download a plain text file), and C) the conversation intelligence keyword searching is fairly limited.
All that said, I still think that Salesloft is a worthwhile tool, as long as you are okay with the little quirks.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to SalesLoft, our team was using Salesforce's gmail plugin to capture conversations with clients, but that completely left out zoom meetings and phone calls. Salesloft helped us automatically get records of our meetings, and log call activity to Salesforce better. It also is a better way of having long term reviewable records of our prior client meetings. I regularly review past meetings when prepping to work with a client again. These two things alone provide huge value.
Super easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
SalesLoft is very simple to use, and easy to pick up as a new piece of technology. I love the cadences, as they help me keep on track with my sales prospects, and also allows me to see what types of activities my team is finding success with. We can see at a glance which steps are successful or not, which allows us to make data driven changes to our sales process that helps us achieve our desired results.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really aren't any downsides to using SalesLoft.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to develop a sales process that is consistent amongst the different members of our team. The cadences allow us to see what is working and what's not, so that we can keep the good and eliminate the bad. We're also tracking all activities back to Salesforce, and SalesLoft allows us to write those activities back automatically.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a tool that will help you standardize your sales processes, is easy to use, and easy to learn, this is the tool for you.
