The 2FA step isn't very intuitive, in my opinion

By using Bitwarden to protect my passwords, I’m now able to create strong, long passwords, and I feel much safer online than I did a few months ago, before I started using it.

Open-Source and Reliable Autofill—Bitwarden’s Free Version Delivers

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I think its the fact that bitwarden is an open-source application, that really caught my eye. The browser extension auto-populates with a fairly high reliability rate. This helps save time by not having to type-in the same logon information every single day. And although the free version of bitwarden is available, it truly allows for actual use and doesn;t really limit you in anything vital and also unlike many other products which offer a 'trial' or watered-down version, you can actually accomplish real tasks using the free version of bitwarden.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the user interface (ui) is okay, it is nothing special. While they clearly spent allot of time developing the back-end (which appears solid), the front-end (or ui) seems somewhat neglected. On occasion, the auto-populate function will become confused about where to populate fields within a website. When this occurs, it may fail to pop-up or fill in the incorrect field. Also, while the mobile app functions correctly, it feels somewhat less polished then others in similar categories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to implementing bitwarden, we were experiencing issues with employees reusing passwords or storing them in a spread sheet. This is an obvious security risk. With bitwarden, each employee now has a central location to manage their login credentials using a single master password. In addition their individual login credentials will sync automatically across their devices and thus eliminating the requirement to remain at their workstation.

Easy to Use, Feature-Rich, and Rock-Solid Reliable

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, lots of features. Rock solid, no downtime, no issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Imperfect email filtering on their side, they block emails when they get an out of office for example, then we have to request that the email be removed from the supression list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are very happy with the shared vaults in the organization and the password generator functions.

Secure, Feature-Packed Password Management That Just Works

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Bitwarden is my go-to password manager because it’s open-source, secure, and packed with useful features. The browser extension autofills logins instantly, and the password generator creates strong, unique passwords with one click. I love that it syncs across all my devices and supports 2FA, making my online life both simpler and safer. The free version covers most need. Setup was quick, and the interface is straightforwar noo unnecessary fluff. It’s a tool that just works, and I trust it with my digital security.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app can feel a bit clunky compared to the desktop experience, and sometimes the autofill doesn’t trigger as quickly as I’d like. Also, the design isn’t as polished as some competitors, functional, but not always pretty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bitwarden solves the chaos of remembering dozens of passwords and the risk of reusing weak ones. It generates, stores, and autofills strong, unique passwords for every site, so I don’t have to. This means I’m less likely to get hacked, and I save time not resetting forgotten passwords. Plus, its integrations with browsers, apps, and even password managers like 1Password (via Bitwarden Send) make it incredibly versatile. It’s peace of mind and convenience in one tool. All this for the price of FREE: gret ROI

Security and Usability in One, With Room for Improvement

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Bitwarden to store my passwords, and I really like that I can use it on many different devices because it makes everything easy to use. Safety and security are of immense importance to me, so having something that helps me without having to remember all my passwords is a big advantage. I find the auto-filling and password generator really helpful because I don't have to think of a new password every time. It also wasn't complicated at all to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Autofill is sometimes unreliable on complicated or complex sites, particularly with JavaScript or iframe logins. The desktop app is at a disadvantage compared to the browser and mobile versions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to store my passwords, eliminating the need to remember them across devices. It's really easy to use on different devices. The auto-filling and password generator features save me from having to think of new passwords each time.

Secure Credential Management with Easy Sharing and Password Generation

  • May 03, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Organizing all my usernames/passwords in a single spot. The ability to generate random passwords. The ability to securely share credentials. Integrated with our various environments, as it helped manage credentials for them. Price was not a factor for me, as my company paid for it. The UI/UX was fine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular, it was useful for all the uses I had for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of organizing disparate logins and the the ability to quickly autofill them where and when needed.

Secure Password Management, Slight UI Hiccups

  • May 02, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Bitwarden to securely store and manage my passwords, and I love how it generates strong logins and autofills credentials across devices. It keeps everything synced and encrypted, making access simple and safe. I really like its simplicity and reliability, especially how the autofill works smoothly and the password generator is solid. The cross-device sync is seamless, and I value the transparency and strong encryption, which makes it feel secure without being complicated. It's also great that the setup was straightforward, and importing passwords from my previous manager worked smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can feel a bit clunky at times, especially when managing many entries. Autofill occasionally struggles on some sites, and syncing can have slight delays. The sharing and organization features could also be more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to securely store and manage my passwords, generate strong logins, and autofill across devices. It eliminates password reuse, keeps my credentials organized, and saves time with autofill while reducing breach risks by storing unique passwords securely.

Unlimited Devices and Free Self-Hosting Make This a Standout

  • May 02, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that they don't limit the number of devices I can access with my account and that they offer self-host in the free plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, everything I need is on the free plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm always creating accounts on a lot of online services, and Bitwarden helps me remember the passwords I've set.

Great Password Management, but Needs Cross-Device Passkey Support

  • May 01, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I'm not forced to pay for Bitwarden and that the premium is not shoved down my face. They keep me from extending my subscription list since I hate subscription-based products. The setup was pretty standard, which is appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementing a passkey that can be easily accessed by Android and iPhone devices is a bit troublesome. A passkey should be seamless and should not require me to dig around searching for passwords. Also, the setup was pretty standard, but it could use a video tutorial for non-tech users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bitwarden to store passwords that I can't remember across various platforms, serving as a backup for my memory.
