Apify makes crawler prototyping a breeze.
What do you like best about the product?
The provided documentation is fantastic. The web interface is solid and allows quick prototyping of crawler solutions. The generous free tier makes it possible to test ideas before financially committing to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some crawlers, debugging options aren't intuitive at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify allows me to solve business functions requiring web crawling while abstracting away all the infrastructure management, letting me focus on the data and logic instead.

What do you like best about the product?
Apify is best when it comes to grouping structured web data through an automated process. It is majorly used for our use cases such as lead generation, market research and price monitoring analysis. Its web crawler & web scraper effectively work together to crawl the web and quickly extract data with the application of XPath, CSS selectors or regex in its data locators. While working with large requirements, Apify shows its extraction efficiency through its workflow automation & neat organization of all datasets which can be downloaded as HTML tables, JSON format, Comma Separated Values, Excel, XML or as RSS feed as per our necessity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apify requires a few enhancements in its SDK for developing custom proxies. Apart from this, other features such as IP address rate limitations, blacklisting & HTTP request identifier are suitable to cope up with our demands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We integrate Amazon scraper with Apify for performing our web scraping activities. It seamlessly automates the data aggregation process without any major roadblocks & doesn't require much expertise. We prepare custom scripts for providing a workaround & ensure to scrap the majority of the data listed on Amazon for our clients. Apify efficiently manages all our scraper requests, parses the HTML to carry out the extraction and finally stores the data in the desired format of our choice.

Apify is a product designed for developers. It is quite hard to understand for a marketer.
The pricing structure is a bit completed as you are paying for several items like server run time and proxies.

Apify helps you to get data from anywhere on the internet. The possibilities are quite endless.
There are many pre-build actors available, so I will always check Apify before investing time in developing a new scraper by myself.

Best in Social Media scrapper
What do you like best about the product?
This review is important for all people related to Social media. Found it on product hunt somehow and I am using Apify since starting of 2022 for social media related data collection, scrapping content, User details and more via complete automation. I use zapier, Make.com and n8n for these tasks by integrating apify in it and this saves me a lot of time and money by not compromising anything. It just outperforms my expectations. Highly recommended for scrapping anything you like.
What do you dislike about the product?
The proxy thing in apify is quite consumed more of my credit than data scrapping, also it gives errors sometimes like you are exceeding memory usage, even when using only one scrapping actor with 25 % of memory used in each task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using manual scrappers like chrome and edge extension while risking personal and sensitive data, Now i realized that with use of apify and its proxy i can scrape my social media needs without sacrificing such details. Instagram and tiktok in social, google maps and linkedin in business data scrapping are the best.

If you want to automate your data scrapping process you can make a custom order for creating a scapper for your use case.

What do you like best about the product?
The ready to use templates make setting up scrapers so easy. We used a couple of other solutions before, and they needed a much more complex DIY setup. Many of the templates are free which is great for small businesses like ours.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I like the templates the paid ones are a little steep for smaller budgets. Also while they claim they never get blocked we have had a few times that the scraper has been rate limited by a site which resulted in some missed data from our side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to collect data we were previously collecting manually. A lot of our scraping goes into solutions for us to stay competitive on price. Which has certainly increased our sales.

Need an easy to use, affordable service for scraping, data extraction. The ease of use for someone new to scraping/ETL is great.

What do you like best about the product?
This app is great for my development that I do with my team. Using Apify's advanced tools, I am able to get the job quickly, without getting blocked. I love how I am able to use it for some of the biggest sites without getting blocked.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that the design of the site isn't the best, I feel that the UI's could use some work on and the setup guide could be more user-friendly too. Overall it is a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am sometimes getting blocked by Amazon when I am trying to scrape specific product data. I realized that proxies can't work 100% of the time really. I do hope however, that they do release proxies that do work 100% of the time.

What do you like best about the product?
This is an awesome app! It's extremely easy to use all their scrapers for all your needs. I love how they have YouTube tools, specifically being a content creator. Their tools help me find ways to engage my audiences better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how their proxies are not in-based, therefore preventing me from using it in many softwares that I use. I hope to possibly have the ip option in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am having trouble using some of my software as it's not IP-Based proxies, but I know that this might be for security purposes. The UI is very nice however, maybe could be more vibrant.

You should try the social scrapers.
