What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Apify is its ability to automate large-scale web scraping with minimal operational overhead. The Actor ecosystem, cloud execution, scheduling, and built-in proxy management make it easy to build reliable scraping workflows without managing infrastructure. It’s especially valuable for competitor ad monitoring and recurring data collection, saving significant manual effort while scaling effortlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawbacks are the learning curve and debugging experience. While the platform is powerful, new users can find the documentation and Actor ecosystem overwhelming. When a scraper fails, identifying the root cause from execution logs can take time. I’d also like to see better Actor discovery, clearer quality metrics, and more visual workflow-building capabilities for complex automation pipelines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify automates the collection of publicly available web data, eliminating hours of manual research. In my case, it helps monitor competitor ads and pricing, collect market intelligence on a schedule, and deliver consistent data for analysis. What do you like best about the product?
Apify gives structure to web scraping and automation. The Actor model is clear, the Store helps avoid rebuilding common scrapers, and the MCP server makes the platform more useful inside AI-agent workflows. For a solo operator, the biggest value is speed: I can test a data source, validate the output, and turn it into a repeatable workflow quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is strongest when the user has some technical understanding. That is not a flaw, but the learning curve is real if someone expects a purely no-code experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me collect and structure web data for research, monitoring, and automation. Instead of treating scraping as a fragile one-off task, Apify makes it closer to an operational system that can be reused, scheduled, and connected to other tools.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Apify for web scraping and it has worked very well for my needs. The platform is reliable, easy to set up, and offers a lot of flexibility for scraping different types of websites. I especially appreciate that the data outputs are well structured and easy to use in further analysis or automation workflows. Overall, Apify saves a lot of manual work and is a very useful tool for anyone who needs to collect web data regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside for me is the pricing model and occasional reliability issues. Apify is powerful, but costs can become harder to predict when runs take longer than expected or when more complex scraping tasks consume more resources. For smaller or experimental use cases, this can make it feel relatively expensive.
I have also experienced situations where a scraper gets stuck or continues running longer than expected, which can increase costs and require manual monitoring. This is not a dealbreaker, but it means I need to be careful with limits, timeouts and testing before using it in a production workflow. Overall, Apify is very useful, but pricing predictability and run reliability are the areas I would like to see improved.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Apify for content scraping and skip tracing. It has an incredibly simple user interface, along with a ton of prebuilt scraping tools to help you find the data and content you need. It’s also extremely affordable, and the support is great whenever you need it. I’d highly recommend it to any SaaS builder, vibe coder, or small business owner who needs quality data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apify is great overall, but I’ve noticed that some of the actors seem duplicated. That can be a bit confusing when I’m trying to figure out which one to use, and why there are multiple versions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify helps me meet my data needs. I use the data to improve my SaaS product and, in turn, deliver better results for my customers.
