What I like best about Apify is its flexibility and scalability. Whether I’m building a simple scraper or a complex automation workflow, Apify provides the tools to handle both with ease. The ability to create custom Actors using JavaScript, schedule tasks, and manage large-scale data collection makes it incredibly powerful.
I also really appreciate the intuitive user interface, clear documentation, and the actor marketplace, which lets you start fast with prebuilt solutions. Overall, it saves a lot of time and effort while still allowing for deep customization when needed.

One thing I dislike about Apify is that the pricing model can be unclear at first, especially for new users. It’s sometimes difficult to estimate the total cost of running a scraper—especially when dealing with large datasets or longer-running Actors.

Apify is solving the problem of manual data collection and web automation, which used to be time-consuming and error-prone. Instead of spending hours scraping data or monitoring websites manually, I can now automate these tasks reliably and at scale.
This platform is one of the best platforms for no-code, low-code builders.

The managed Actors, built‑in proxy pool, and scheduling UI get you from “idea” to “running in prod” absurdly fast, without wrestling with headless browsers or infrastructure.

Where it starts to creak is at hyperscale or near‑real‑time use cases—e.g., millions of pages per hour, complex, multi‑step scraping that needs sub‑second latency, or mission‑critical flows that demand fine‑grained cost control. At that point, rolling your own microservice with a dedicated scraper cluster (or serverless workers) usually gives better throughput, lower unit costs, and tighter SLA guarantees.

Dislike is a big word, but I think their pricing could be a bit better. $39 as the smallest package is a bit high I think.
