Salesforce Sales Cloud - A Great CRM Tool

What do you dislike about the product?
it can sometimes be hard to run the right reports, but after a few tries it usually turns out to be pretty seamless. as long as you're sure of the data you need, you may just need to try a few different ways
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it allows a sales person like me who works remote to correctly track and view all progress throughout the entire sales cycle

Some great functionality around opportunity management, MEDDIC, reporting, integrations, etc.

Incredibly slow and difficult to use. Feels like an archaic platform that has the functionality you need, but a very slow and bulky feel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help to organize conversations and activities across different teams - ultimately leading to closed business.

What do you like best about the product?
I only used it briefly as part of my assistance to the sales team in a marketing role. What I liked what that it connected seamlessly with the other salesforce clouds, which gave us a 360 overview of a customer's journey, from engaging with a lead in marketing cloud, going through the sales process in sales cloud and then servicing them in service cloud.
For Sales Cloud specifically, it was the automation that helped the team, because they didn't have to follow up with hundreds of customers. This meant they can focus on the leads that are warm while the system helps them warm up cold leads.
Another thing was the mobile accessibility. The salespeople are always on the go so being able to manage while on the road was a huge help.

What do you dislike about the product?
Apart from the cost, which is understandable given the power of the platform, it was the overwhelming features that are available. without a proper architect who understands the platform and your business, it poses a risk that you either don't maximise the features or you try and use features you don't need. It's great that there's space to develop a system for your business but if that system wasn't made properly it of course confuses users and the dependency on consultants for complex customisation and integration becomes costly.

as mentioned i used it in a past role, not current.

First time user of Salesforce Cales Cloud
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to navigate, there is a lot of info displayed on one screen (in a good way). It was the first app I opened up every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Date cleaning projects were not always the easiest to do in Salesforce Sales Cloud.

Collaboration amongst sales team, tracking opportunities and interactions, getting a holistic view of an account on one screen

What do you like best about the product?
I like the customizability of the platform. it enables me to complete my tasks without all the extra bloat.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a big company has its downsides. typically when there is an issue, i have had trouble getting in touch with our rep at times.

It keeps me organized. im able to track all of the key data and migrate it to another solution we use.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Salesforce Sales Cloud quite a lot - a few times a week at least, and what I love about it is it's extremely intuitive to use. It's quite easy to collaborate with other teams and manage your leads and opportunities. It's also a big bonus that this service is part of Salesforce company, because it means you can integrate it with pretty much anything that any other Salesforce service can connect to.

The only thing I don't like about the Sales Cloud is that it may sometimes be slow, which hinders and slows down my daily workflows

In my current role of a technical specialist, I communicate with customers a lot. Naturally, this creates a bunch of opportunities for upsale. Sales Cloud provides a great platform where I can collaborate with our internal sales teams on the leads I give them. I can later track my opportunities and see reporting of sales, which provides a great insight into my work.

It's an incredibly flexible platform, and allows for robust external integrations.

It's not cheap, and our investment continues to increase despite attempting to be more efficient on the platform.

Salesforce sales cloud has so many feature so mastering in all feature can take time.End user as well as administrators may require extensive training to use the system effectively.For high level of customization and intigration we may have to depend on developes which create bottleneck in business as well as increase cost of mainatance also.
