What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is the hallmark analysis and insight tool available to the salesforce platform. The ease at which seasoned salesforce professionals can access and analyze critical data gives us leverage over the data in a uniquely native way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for non-technical users can be a hurdle for adoption.

Ease of access to data analysis for leadership when necessary.
Easy Chart Building for Non-Coders, but Pricey for Small Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I’m not a coder so using the drag-and-drop interface makes it easy for me to build charts I can share in my business
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I think I’m paying too much for it as I’m not really using all the features within my small team
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve got to identify risky credit applications on the one-hand, then identify and flag existing credit facilities that might be about to go bad.

What do you like best about the product?
I really value Tableau for its ability to seamlessly bring data democratization and visibility to all our analytics initiatives, enhancing decision-making within our organization. The smooth cloud migration was a significant advantage, making adoption very high. I appreciated the performance consistency and its integration within Salesforce, which simplifies workflow and increases efficiency. The capabilities like summarizing information, drilling down into details, monitoring changes, and embedding within Salesforce have empowered us to make faster and more informed decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the on-premise setup of Tableau to be challenging, taking us about three months to get everything ready which was quite cumbersome. The servers needed for the on-prem setup added to the complexity. Additionally, there's a tendency for people to use Tableau for Excel-like reporting, which I believe it's not designed for. This misuse could lead to inefficiencies, and it's vital to educate users that Tableau is intended to be a visual analytics tool rather than a traditional reporting tool like Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau for comprehensive data analytics and reporting, enhancing decision-making across departments. It simplifies data visibility and role-based access, streamlining our workflow. Embedding Tableau into Salesforce increased adoption, enabling faster insights and better business decisions.

I love how Tableau allows me to represent and visualize data in various forms, making it a powerful tool for uncovering issues and opportunities for improvement. The word cloud and different visualization features are extremely helpful. The ease of use, especially with internal support during setup, enhances my experience.

I believe Tableau could benefit from expanding its self-service options. Despite the introduction of Tableau Pulse, which I find quite useful and easy to use, I think there could be more such features available.

I use Tableau to reveal and address issues in customer support interactions, enhancing IVR options for clarity. Its data visualization capabilities let me see caller intents clearly and find opportunities for improvement.

Efficient CRM Integration, But Learning Curve Exists
What do you like best about the product?
I find the charts in CRM analytics incredibly beneficial for addressing sales challenges. They effectively support our sales team's needs by providing valuable insights and clarity. The integration with Google appears to be economically favorable, as it seems to be saving money for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it challenging to set up Tableau initially. I needed to train myself with handling data and creating charts and reports. I wish there were free training resources available to ease this learning curve.
