A great tool for growing companies on the IT industry and others
What do you like best about the product?
The friendly usability of UI allows everyone to quickly learn how to exploit the tool. Visibility of everyhing involved on an IT project is important to have a great updated status of everyone's responsibilities and deadlines to achieve. Assigning items to certain people, the ability to create a customizable chart that enables the user to set their own metrics and columns needed to track the individuals ongoing tasks, completion dates, status, comments and addition of subtasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I don't have anything to complain about. We have been using monday for the last couple of months and still discovering it strenghts and capabilities. Considering the large team that has visibility on it, the required specific subcriptions for the edition privilege caused some problems as I'm the only one capable of update items on monday, and my team mate who work on a different time shift depends on me for these kinds of edits. I would like to see integration with other IT tools such as JIRA and testrail/testlink. We have not yet tested this with microsoft tools like microsoft teams for instance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Achieving deadlines as a team is easier when using monday.com that considering its integration with slack and the notification system makes everyone aware of upcoming milestones. Higher-level overview of the forthcoming deliveries helps to understand and breakdown which is responsible for each stage. The benefits also includes it multiple integrtion with a world wide known tool as slack

monday.com is great for IT companies that needs to track multiple projects ongoing at the same time
Slick UI, steep learning curve, but COMPLETELY worth it
What do you like best about the product?
I gushed to my team about the Automations feature. It's so helpful to have tasks get automatically generated and assigned to me without me having to input them all the time manually. My favorite automation right now is the ability to move tickets from one board to another simply by changing the status. It makes moving tickets from my backlog to my current sprint super smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a pretty steep learning curve for people more used to industry-popular robust ticketing systems (for example, Jira). If you're transitioning an entire team to the Monday.com platform, I highly suggest having a workshop or training meeting before setting everyone loose on the site. I was the one who conducted my company's training on Monday.com, so I can say it was a necessary and essential step to resolve all blockers on the spot. I also don't like how the dark mode feature is a little bit hidden. It would be much easier to have a toggle somewhere on the main screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Slack is not documentation: that's the primary issue with working at a startup. Expanding teams need to use formal ticketing platforms, and Monday.com is perfect for that. We have put a lot of status updates on our Monday boards to enforce clear communication across the company. It's also helped assign ownership to each task. People are less confused about task ownership these days.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My top recommendation is to either attend or watch any of the workshops the Monday.com team has released directly. I was able to train my team because of the YouTube video I watched on Project Management.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about the monday.com, not only it is so easy to navigate and explore, but its the fact that I get to collaborate within the Team when working on my projects with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything to dislike at all.

Just working on collaborating within the Team, it is so easy to contribute ideas and share them across all involved parties towards a common goal.

The status updates and the fields that allow users to enter text, links, and graphics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be confusing adding people to boards, especially when we're adding extra people that are not apart of our official staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have to crowd our emails and group texts with as many updates, everyone can see what they are working on and what other staff members are working on, the reminders are helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is powerful enough to track our sales pipeline, production and processing pipeline and delivery workflows. All with a pretty flexible and intuitive interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure this is a "dislike" but a reality that we needed to hire someone to help us setup our monday.com boards and tasks. I think the one thing that could be helpful the ability to edit groups within the project boards. When I add a group, it may have different needs and requirements. Right now once you set up a board, the parameters remain fixed throughout all groups you add.

monday.com has helped us visualize all the tasks and effort that go into creating our one-of-a-kind products.

The product is very easy to use and intuitive, great for allocating tasks and monitoring progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
The experience on mobile could be better as could the organisation of boards

Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I find Monday easily understandable, since I started using it at work I've never had difficulties finding the tools I needed. It's also great to see the projects progress and I enjoyed very much the Gantt view option that was recently added.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when there's too many tasks being viewed it gets slow, but with the filters it gets better. Another thing is that with the sidebar opened and with the fixed columns theres very little space to access and view the rest of the columns in the board. We would also like to, when adding a view on the board for example, for it to be added "privately" to the person who added and not for everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where I work we use Monday to organize our projects and subtasks, we have boards for developing tasks, for tests, for reporting bugs and for feedbacks, all our work revolves around what we plan on Monday. We also control the squads, estimates and deadlines there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can set up Monday however you find it better, theres almost infite options of how to use the columns and the filters and about 4 different ways to visualize the tasks, you can also connect tasks from different boards and groups and have a status column, so when, for example, the test on your task is done you get notified that it was approved. Its really a great tool for project managemnet.

Monday.com is really flexible, intuitive, and always advancing. It has helped my team be more efficient and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The subitems function is still in progress and doesn't have all of the functionality of the standard items. However, the Monday.com team routinely releases updates and is always improving so I'm confident the features will be developed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday for task management, data intake, deal tracking, and project management. We have used it to formalize a lot of processes, enabling more repeatability.

The automation of tasks makes it super easy to manage boards.

It can be a little slow sometimes when there are lots of tasks on the board + different views etc.

The problem of communication between departments in trying times of COVID, and it allows us to have transparent communication between multiple stakeholders.
