Reliable Network Monitoring with Extensive Features
What do you like best about the product?
ManageEngine OpManager offers a comprehensive monitoring solution with real-time network performance tracking. The customizable dashboards, extensive reporting tools, and wide range of supported devices make it easy to gain visibility into the health of our IT infrastructure. The ability to monitor bandwidth, server health, and network devices in one platform is a major advantage. Additionally, the software is easy to set up and offers good scalability, making it suitable for both small and large organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While OpManager is feature-rich, the user interface can feel cluttered at times, especially for new users. Some of the advanced features require a bit of a learning curve. Additionally, while the software offers strong capabilities, the licensing can be somewhat complex, particularly when adding additional devices or modules. Occasional issues with updates affecting stability have also been experienced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us proactively monitor our network infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues before they impact users. It addresses problems like unexpected downtime, bandwidth bottlenecks, and server health monitoring by providing real-time alerts and in-depth diagnostics. With OpManager, we’ve reduced the time spent on manual network monitoring and troubleshooting, leading to increased operational efficiency. Its ability to visualize network performance and pinpoint trouble spots allows us to maintain better network uptime and reliability, ultimately benefiting our overall business operations.
Monitoring dashboard is simple view and can see the alarms and take action according to this.

Easy to monitory the network and troubleshoot the issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has been observed that the Cisco Wireless Controller added in the Opmanager added the Access Point automaticaly.

Troubleshooting is easy way to identify the issues promtly

ManageEngine OpManager is an easy to use network monitoring software & an affordable network monitoring solution to monitor network devices

it's good for small medium business infra

High CPU or memory usage on a physical server, virtual machine, or network device can considerably affect the performance of devices and, in turn, affect the end user

What do you like best about the product?
Multiple features of ManageEngine one that I like the most is manging various OS and applications in single console and customize alerts configurations.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometime unmanaged\deleted devices are reconiged back in the monitoring in App Manager it is annoying sometime

Application monitoring and We are able to monitor all the Certficates monitoring of my Organization is so helpful

What do you like best about the product?
After installing this product we have some transperancy on our network and are able to monitor our network assets

We expect some updatein dashboard to monitor network

We can monitor our network assets and rectify any issues proactively before someone can report the issue to Network Adminsitrator
Very open and flexible framework for IT Operations
What do you like best about the product?
This is one of the most flexible solutions for network monitoring available on the market. It is very easy in the framework to add new monitors, devices, templates, and even develop or extend its capabilities via custom scripts and a powerful rest API
What do you dislike about the product?
The device templates pre-loaded with the tool are very basic. ME should invest more on having ready to use templates with the proper data, because the vendors DO expose all data via their MIBs.
Also, the ability to create templates via REST APIs is null as of now, and many vendors are moving towards APIs as the main way to collect data. (Today, we have to develop such with custom scripts, from scratch)

Very easy to monitor several vendors, devices etc in a single console

The platform is complex and at the same time easy to use. It is interactive for users and allows advanced monitoring which has helped us solve bottleneck problems.

It would be good to improve the management of licenses and additional addons

It is fairly seamless once you have it running. There's a lot of features. Support is great.

Some documentation is lacking, but support has you covered.

Managing and monitoring network assets. Having a centralized place to do this makes the whole process easier and takes less time from our team.
Great simple product, yet comprehensive, easy to deploy and integrate, easy to maintain.

How easy to deploy the products and integrate them with the other infrastructure componantes.

No central support contact, where you need to reach out differant teams for the same issue that impacts multible Manage Engine products.
