Great product to monitor your network
What do you like best about the product?
We required a tool that could be easily and rapidly implemented due to our infrastructure being spread across multiple countries, and OpManager provided us with that capability. Although there were some legal issues with signing the contract, once it was implemented, it proved to be highly beneficial and user-friendly. The support provided is also of high quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only limitation we saw ws the limited auto discovery feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us monitor the netowrk in real-time and generate alerts to be able to quickly take actions.
I highly recommend OpManager for any network monitoring and performance

2FA is not streamlined..Sometimes the OTP delays locking you out of the system

What do you like best about the product?
ManageEngine OpManager provides alot of functionalities on a single pane of view by providing multiple modules which can simplify role based access and specialization.
With OpManager you can assign different modules to different departments.
The ease with which one can generate reports and also set up alerts simplifies monitoring.
The vast functionality supported starting from monitoring infrastructure's health and availability to network bandwith perfomance provides full visibility.
Readily available monitoring templates simplifies ease of integration / adding different technologies for monitoring, e.g Cisco, Sophos.

Moving data and information betweeen modules is still hectic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The provision of visibility over the entire IT operations infrastructure on a single pane view simplifies monitoring, since multiple technologies can be monitored and reports can easily be generated from the collected information. Root cause analysis simplifies troubleshooting incase of issues and alerting ensures that at all times, one knows the health of their environment.
Great UI monitoring tool
What do you like best about the product?
The OpManager excels in its user-friendly GUI and offers a variety of options for creating NOC Dashboards. The real-time alerting system is impressive, automatically detecting newly added devices within the subnet. The graphical user interface of OpManager is top-notch, making it easy to integrate with other ManageEngine products. Users can easily set up customizable alarms for various criteria thanks to its extensive alerting capabilities. OpManager's monitoring capabilities cover a wide range of network infrastructure, such as servers, routers, and virtualization platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The SMS alerts are not operating as anticipated and often experience interruptions. This is an ongoing challenge with OPmanager that we encounter regularly. On the bright side, we have not encountered any technical difficulties with the product

OpManager enables us to set up personalized alerts and notifications according to predetermined thresholds or specific occurrences. It actively monitors critical performance indicators like CPU utilization, memory usage, bandwidth consumption, and application response durations.

We've been using OpManager for over four years and really love the product. It's very comprehensive and has lots of really useful features at a very reasonable price.
Very easy integration into our infrastructure. Once you've got familiar with the myriad of different settings it's very easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that the product is so comprehensive is possibly one of its downfalls. It feels like pieces have been bolted on over the years and finding your way round the settings can be frustrating at times.

It's worth noting that while OpManager excels in monitoring Windows-based systems, we have encountered some limitations with regard to its compatibility with certain operating systems, particularly Linux and Unix. In these cases, we've found that the monitoring capabilities for Linux and Unix devices could be improved.

It has proven to be an ideal solution for our needs, particularly in its ability to monitor devices across multiple parameters. Its comprehensive approach to performance monitoring encompasses a wide range of aspects, including hardware, applications, and processes, which has greatly enhanced our ability to maintain the health and efficiency of our network infrastructure.
User friendly product and easy to configure

Monitoring the infrastructure has resulted in increased uptime for the data center.

Customize Dashboard not avaiable in current version

Previously, we faced challenges when VMs or servers went down, as we didn't receive alerts to promptly address the issues. However, now that we receive alerts, we can swiftly take action when such incidents occur.
OP manager ease and efficient way to monitor your infra
What do you like best about the product?
OP manager is easy to understand and it efficiently monitor most of the infra related devices. Mostly APM for database monitoring and netflow both add ons are useful
What do you dislike about the product?
Few more customization may be required in DB monitoring and in sun solaris device monitoring
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has live dashboard, NOC dashboard which helps us to see in a glance about infra parameters. It has out of the box reports which helps our time to go and create in excel. It has different role base access through which we provide customer view to llok in their system about all status.
