Helpful tool for virtual whiteboards during Covid
What do you like best about the product?
Ability for team to collaborate virtually when working from home during Covid. Great tool that's really helped our team
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tools are difficult to understand at first eg dragging and dropping content within boxes etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workshops and sprints virtually during Covid and working remotely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's great videos on YouTube
Excellent program
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of templates available, ease of use and ability to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a new user It's a bit of a challenging process. There are many tools and tips so this isn't a dig on the program, just a lack of understanding on my part. As I become more familiar it becomes a lot easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating a new computer program to be used by our organization. The flow charts have been amazing in documenting our process flows and creating our user stories.
Lucidspark review
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to help students organize their ideas visually. My students are building virtual flowcharts for work plans for their graduate projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a bit of a learning curve, and that comments aren't available for free. Also the verification process to get an account took a little while, and some students were not able to get into the collaborative whiteboard immediately, some not at all (though I will admit this is the case with ANY virtual platform when working with high-schoolers).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Students need to create flowcharts for their graduation projects, and it is nice to have them conceptualize in a tool like Lucidspark. In the past, they would create a simple table in word with the months and with the actions they would take during that month. They were not dynamic, inspiring, or interesting. The flowchart inherently gives a flow to the work that they will do, and making the sequence visual like that is a great help to the teachers reviewing the process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be creative and open to using Lucidspark in COLLABORATION with students, not as a place for you to be the center. It can be intimidating and even worrying to allow students the freedom to post, especially anonymously or semi-anonymously. But that should not dissuade you from having a good time and allow students to express themselves openly and freely.
An extremely useful tool for work
What do you like best about the product?
The possibility to organize ideas in a clearly way, the possibility to add special information such as internet link or label and then to be able to export your document as pdf for example
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that the link for the label doesn't always appeared when you export your work as pdf
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can add every information I get related to my work and organize it, wich is useful to sum it up later very quickly
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Bmi don't really have any advice, everything is really well explained
Great way to document and keep track of ideas during a conversation without being too restrictive.
What do you like best about the product?
I like to the ability to create flow charts that outline processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
When beginning to use Lucidspark, it can be challenging to remember all the features and is not always intuitive in how to operate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidspark to have conversations with clients around their goals and map out ways to achieve their goals. The flexibility is extremely helpful exspecially when working via video conference.
Lucidspark makes sharing ideas and workflows EASY!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that we can share workflows for our content development. It makes our ideas visual and we can brainstorm in a more productive way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I can't really think of anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building up our educational content for customers and there are a ton of projects going on. I love that we have a place to brainstorm and vote on ideas, use that function to reorganize ideas by theme and just see the big picture of our needs in an organized way.
Software Dev
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark makes it so someone with no design experience can quickly put together a flowchart for teamwork purposes. Thanks to this I can help visiualize the project by creating a flowchart. Furthermore this is used to team collaboration events such as creating stories.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much obvious documentation to help orient myself from the onset. As someone who comes from whimsical I found whimsical to be a bit easier to use. I do attribute this more to my own stubborn mentality but perhaps some tooltips in the page itself so that I don't have to go through pages of information could be helpful in this regard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The visualization of our software flow is excellent for an agile environment. It makes it easy to onboard other team members. Furthermore this application helps create diagrams for solving team issues, such as organizing work on a two dimensional axis, or brainstorming new ideas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As far as I know, the greatest strength this application has is that it is pretty much a whimsical replacement that isn't too different but verified to meet DoD safety requirements. I recommend this application for those security-oriented. Mind you I am not speaking for the DoD nor endorsing the product on their behalf.
Hard flowcharts are a thing of the past.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of the application. One thing that is great is the step by step when you first start. It teaches you and allows you to go back if you miss a step.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. So far, so good. I like everything about the application right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast flow charts are being made for our operations team and other departments.
Excellent product collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, templates, and integration options.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit of a learning curve for teams to fully utilize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating on product development between mutliple teams. Has increased efficiency.
I like the features provided by lucidchart.
What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty flexible. It guides you to an excellent way to do things but doesn't force it
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the annotation tools could be easier to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great tool for building workflows, processes, and wireframes. Process Visualization.
