What do you like best about the product?
It is very helpful to work intuitively and interactively with colleagues via Lucidspark. Especially during these digital times with COVID.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidspark makes it not that easy to connect with different media. It is also not that intuitive to export.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great tool to help structuring brainstorm sessions.
I also use it for making decision trees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it once and you'll not be disappointed!

Fantastic Tool for Mapping Government Ties

  • April 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple and intuitive it is to use. I felt that there was no learning curve, and the software could aid me in the process instead of me having to fight it. I wasn't sure how to best approach the topic, as there are multiple agencies, and many localities, along with state and federal players. However, I got a tip from another non-profit that they had used the same tool, so I gave it a shot. And I loved it right from the get-go. I had such a complex chart, and so much happening, that I really appreciated how all of the arrows/links stayed attached to the banners/boxes as I moved them around. I had go through quite a bit of rearranging and reorganization to get the chart to handle all of the information in a intuitive, readable, and understandable way.
What do you dislike about the product?
When making complex charts, sometimes the arrows do not snap correctly to the boxes/banners. It takes some zooming and finagling to get it to attach/snap properly. While I was able to make it work in the end, I would love a few more default color options, or perhaps different palletes to make large charts more readable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Lucidspark to map out the relationship between our localities here in Richmond and their ties to the various transit agencies in the region. The map has become quite complex - with over 20 players and five agencies! It has been a first-of-its-kind approach to understanding a region's transit governance.

Great features! Interface is kind of fiddly.

  • April 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The real-time collaboration is great. Users were able to contribute without delays and get their points across effectively. The visual layout is helpful for users who require visual metaphors for effective complex problem solving.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface was very "busy" and everything feels "fiddly". I don't do my best work in a visual environment like this, so it was difficult to stop myself from tuning out of the interface and just trying to chat or talk to my collaborators while taking notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used lucidspark to help map out some ideas for project management. It was beneficial in that it did not have a steep learning curve and we were able to quickly get a lot of ideas sorted and mapped.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to collaborate with co-workers
What do you dislike about the product?
The arrow drag functionality is very buggy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling to create consistent user flows and mapping diagrams with a previous program. Lucidspark is both easier to learn and more robust in functionality

Intuitive product for technical documentation and diagrams

  • April 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark offers user interfaces that are easy to use and intuitive. I like the hotkeys and minimal user interfaces.
Frankly, other softwares that I have used in the past had some pain points. The fact that I did not run into such pain points while using Lucidspark, is probably a good indication that it is a great product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the lines connecting between two shapes don't consistently align. It's a minor thing but impacts the aesthetics a little bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me visualize and get a clearer vision of ideas. I use it as a more formalized whiteboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend it if you are looking to build beautiful architecture diagrams quickly without worrying too much about learning a new product.

If you have lucidchart or miro you don’t need this

  • April 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Less structured . Seems like an unecessary product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love some more use case-based training. A more intensive onboarding for best practice and common uses and mistakes to avoid while using the platform would have been very beneficial to my team and I.
Can oftentimes get too busy if everyone is allowed free reign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing that can't be solved with lucid chart or miro
